前記ピニオン歯車に噛み合うラック面と前記垂直走行輪を転動させる走行面を備えた垂直軌条と水平軌条との交差部は分岐装置を配置するため分断されていること、
前記分断区間には、ピニオン歯車が噛み合うラック面と垂直走行輪が転動する走行面とを側面から見て略L字状のカーブに形成し且つそのカーブの垂直部が前記垂直軌条に接続される曲線軌条部と、ピニオン歯車が噛み合うラック面と垂直走行輪が転動する走行面を直線状に形成し前記垂直軌条に接続される直線軌条部とを、分岐軌条部として配置すると共に、当該分岐軌条部の曲線軌条部と直線軌条部とが分断された前記軌条に選択的に接続されるようにしたこと、
