Description
The present invention relates to an oxygen sensor that detects an oxygen concentration.
Conventionally, various oxygen sensors have been proposed.
An oxygen sensor disclosed in
However, in the above-described prior art, the gap between the insertion hole of the holder and the detection element is filled and compressed in order to ensure airtightness between the insertion hole of the holder and the detection element. At that time, the detection element may be pressurized from the outer periphery to induce buckling of the air passage layer. On the other hand, in order to prevent such buckling of the air passage layer, the strength of the air passage layer can be improved by lowering the porosity of the air passage layer. As the rate decreases, it becomes difficult to introduce the outside air to the reference electrode through the air passage layer, and a new mechanism for forcibly pumping (supplying) the outside air is necessary. turn into.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an oxygen sensor that does not require a new mechanism for forcibly supplying the reference gas to the solid electrolyte layer and can suppress damage to the air passage layer.
First, a schematic configuration of the
An
The
The
That is, in the state where the
The terminal portion 7 is pressed against the
The
The
The
The
In this way, by covering the protruding end side of the
The
Further, a diameter-expanded
A plurality of mounting holes 12 (four in the present embodiment) are formed at equal intervals in the circumferential direction on the bottom 5b of the
The outer periphery of the
The space S provided between the
One
Further, the hook-shaped spring portion provided on the other axial side of the terminal portion 7 (left side in FIG. 1) is sandwiched between the inner
The fixing
The
When the exhaust gas as the gas to be measured flowing in the
Further, when assembling the connection end 2 a and the
In the present embodiment, the tip of the
In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, an
The
Further, since the
Further, in the present embodiment, the outer periphery of the
The
Further, in the present embodiment, the
In the present embodiment, the stepped
Next, a configuration related to the
The
The
Here, the heater pattern 2p is made of a heat-generating conductive material such as platinum mixed with alumina, for example, and is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the
The heater pattern 2p heats the
Further, the
Further, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, a
The
The

As shown in FIGS. 3 to 4, the
The
The

The
The

Next, a conductive paste made of platinum or the like is curved-screen printed on the upper surface of the
The
Here, the curved screen printing process of the
And in the manufacturing method of the detection element 2 (
Further, the
Further, the
Next, the
The specific porosity of the
Moreover, when the film thickness of the
Here, the measurement of the porosity and the film thickness is performed by a measurement method in which a cross-sectional image of a sample is taken with a scanning electron microscope (SEM), image analysis is performed, and the occupied area of the pores is calculated.
When the porosity of the
The above porosity can be suitably realized by adding 10 to 50 wt% of the pore forming agent having an average particle diameter of 1 to 20 μm in the ceramic material forming the
Here, the particle size of the pore forming agent is measured by taking a cross-sectional image of the sample with a scanning electron microscope (SEM) and performing image analysis, and calculating the average particle size calculated from all particles included in a predetermined unit area. This is performed by a measurement method of calculating a value. In addition, the content of the pore forming agent was calculated from the area ratio by taking a cross-sectional image of the sample with a scanning electron microscope (SEM) and calculating the area ratio between particles having a specific composition by image analysis. It is carried out by a measuring method using the theoretical volume ratio as the content.
And when the average particle diameter of a hole formation agent is smaller than 1 micrometer, the hole which diffuses external air in the
Here, the significance of the porosity of the
Further, as a value related to the strength rigidity of the
As described above, in the
