本発明は、建築物の壁面に設置して床材・壁材など内装材の境界部に用いる見切り材に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
近年、一般住宅や病院および老健施設における廊下・居室等において、車椅子やストレッチャーなどの接触による壁面の保護を図ると共に汚れを防止し且つ意匠・デザイン性(外観)の向上を目的として、腰壁材の設置が求められるようになってきた。
しかし乍ら、従来の腰壁材は、合成樹脂性にしろ金属性にしろ或いは木製にしても、腰壁として壁面を覆う腰壁用パネル・シート材の他に、受け材・キャップ材・エンドキャップ材・コーナー材など多くの構成部材を必要とするので、その在庫管理が大変であると共に、設置・施工に非常に手間が掛かり、そのためコスト高になり、しかも仕上がり厚みがどうしても嵩高になるためにドア廻りなどにエンドキャップ付け等の処理やら調整が必要となる等の不具合があった。
更に従来の腰壁材では、車椅子やストレッチャーなどの接触による壁面の保護を図ると共に汚れの防止を主目的としているために衝突時における衝撃吸収性能がほとんどなく、人が転倒したり思わぬことでぶつかった場合には、ぶつかった相手に損傷を与えることがあった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明はこのような現状に鑑みてなされたものであり、腰壁材の見切り材として使用し得ると共に、人が転倒したり思わぬことでぶつかった場合でもその衝撃を吸収してぶつかった相手に損傷を与える惧れがほとんどなく衝撃吸収材として或いは簡易なキックガードやストレッチャ−ガードとしても使用可能であり、且つその設置・施工が容易で安価な見切り材を提供せんとするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
斯かる目的を達成する本発明の見切り材は、弾性を有する合成樹脂を用いて適宜な巾を有する長尺状に形成され、上縁部には、壁面に対して付勢接触する断面形状が略鷲の嘴のように先が鋭く曲がり表面が略円弧状をした壁面圧接縁を延設し、下縁部には、裏面側に腰壁材の上端縁を被掩する差込みアンダーカット部を形成すると共に、表面側に上記腰壁材の上端縁表面に対して付勢接触する断面形状が略円弧状であって、先が略鷲の嘴のように鋭く曲がった圧接縁が延設され、上記下縁部の裏面下端と圧接縁の根元間が略平坦であり、当該見切り材は壁面に対して接着剤で貼り着けるようにしたことを特徴としたものである。
また、上記見切り材は、全体または部分的に発泡樹脂により形成されていることを特徴としたものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の具体的な好適実施例を図面に基づいて詳細に説明するが、本発明は図示実施例のものに限定されるものではなく、いろいろなバリエーションが考えられる。

本発明に係る見切り材Aは、弾性を有する合成樹脂を用いて適宜所望の巾を有する長尺状に形成されると共に、その表面に印刷による図柄模様や成形による絞模様や形状による意匠等の適宜所望の意匠(デザイン)1が施され、建築物の壁面Bにその長さ方向が横方向(水平方向)となり幅方向が高さとなるように配置され、壁面Bに対して接着剤で貼り着け設置される(図3参照)。

見切り材Aは、通常の樹脂用押出し成形機を用いて形成され、その長さは定尺ものの場合は1m〜10m、好ましくは2m〜5m程度に形成し巻きものの場合には5m〜50m程度に形成され、幅L1は10mm〜1000mm、好ましくは30mm〜300mm程度に形成され、また最大肉厚L2は1mm〜20mm、好ましくは2mm〜10mm程度に形成され、その表面に腰壁材C等の隣接した地模様(図柄)とマッチした図柄模様等の意匠を施すと共に、例えばその中央部分に長手方向に沿って略V字形状をした凹窪を形成したり(図1参照)、長手方向に沿って幅広く浅い溝状の凹窪を形成する(図2参照)などして形状による意匠1を施す。尚、形状による意匠1は必ずしも施さなくともよく、表面を凹凸のないフラットに形成しても良い。

また、見切り材Aの上縁及び/又は下縁(図示実施例では、上縁及び下縁)には、断面略嘴形状をした圧接縁2a,2bを同一体に延設形成せしめる。
圧接縁2a,2bは、壁面Bに多少不陸があった場合でもその不陸を吸収して見切り材Aの上縁及び/又は下縁の裏面側と壁面Bないしは腰壁材(腰壁用パネル・シート材)C表面との間に隙間が生じないようにするためのものであり、壁面Bに対して付勢接触するように、鷲の嘴のように鋭く先が曲がった断面略嘴形状に形成すると共に、その先端辺2a’,2b’が壁面Bないしは腰壁材C(腰壁用パネル・シート材)表面に向かって見切り材Aの裏面A’より少し突出するように形成する。

更に、見切り材Aの上縁及び/又は下縁に設けられた上記圧接縁2a,2bの内側には、壁面を覆う壁紙材や腰壁材(腰壁用パネル・シート材)Cの端縁を差し込むための差込みアンダーカット部3を形成せしめる。この差込みアンダーカット部3は、差し込まれる壁紙材や腰壁材(腰壁用パネル・シート材)Cの端縁の厚みに応じて、見切り材Aの裏面A’より0.5mm〜10mm程度の深さに形成し、その長さを1mm〜20mm程度に形成する。

見切り材Aを形成する合成樹脂としては、弾性を有する合成樹脂であれば特に限定されるものではないが、軟質熱可塑性合成樹脂が好適に用いられ、具体的には、塩化ビニル系樹脂,塩素化ポリエチレン等の含ハロゲン樹脂,ポリエチレン,ポリプロピレン,エチレン−αオレフィン共重合樹脂,プロピレン−αオレフィン共重合樹脂,エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合樹脂,エチレン−アクリル酸エステル共重合樹脂,エチレン−メタクリル酸エステル共重合樹脂,エチレン−アクリル酸共重合樹脂等のオレフィン系樹脂,オレフィン系熱可塑性エラストマー,スチレン系熱可塑性エラストマー,ポリエステル系熱可塑性エラストマー,ウレタン系熱可塑性エラストマー等の熱可塑性エラストマー、等を挙げることができる。その中で、上に挙げた合成樹脂を発泡させて用いることが好ましい。その場合、見切り材Aに全体を発泡樹脂で形成しても良いが、多層押出し機を用いて、部分的に発泡層を形成するようにしても良い。

【発明の効果】
本発明に係る見切り材は斯様に、弾性を有する合成樹脂を用いて適宜な巾を有する長尺状に形成され、上縁部には、壁面に対して付勢接触する断面形状が略鷲の嘴のように先が鋭く曲がり表面が略円弧状をした壁面圧接縁を延設し、下縁部には、裏面側に腰壁材の上端縁を被掩する差込みアンダーカット部を形成すると共に、表面側に上記腰壁材の上端縁表面に対して付勢接触する断面形状が略円弧状であって、先が略鷲の嘴のように鋭く曲がった圧接縁が延設され、上記下縁部の裏面下端と圧接縁の根元間が略平坦であり、当該見切り材は壁面に対して接着剤で貼り着けるようにしたので、壁面の意匠・アクセントを付ける見切り材として使用出来ると共に、腰壁材と統一感またはバラエティに富んだ表現が可能となるため腰壁材の見切り材としても使用することができる。
