Claims (4)
- 拡散部を経て面光源化された光源からの光を,可視光波長領域λvの下限値400nm以下となる周期Ρで等間隔ピッチに配列された金属格子を含み、
その上面に高透過性薄膜状のオーバーコートを施してなる構成の反射型偏光分離素子を介して出射させ、
前記反射型偏光分離素子の出射面側には、表面凹凸素子が配され、
前記反射型偏光分離素子の平坦面と前記表面凹凸素子の平坦面とを直接密着させ一体化され、
前記反射型偏光分離素子は、光透過性基材の上にワイヤー状の金属を格子状に配列形成して成り、金属格子形成面を光源側にして配されることを特徴とするLCDパネル用バックライトユニット。 - 前記表面凹凸素子の出射面側には,二色性偏光素子が配されることを特徴とする,請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 拡散部を経て面光源化された光源からの光を,可視光波長領域λvの下限値400nm以下となる周期Ρでランダムなピッチに配列された金属格子を含み、
その上面に高透過性薄膜状のオーバーコートを施してなる構成の反射型偏光分離素子を介して出射させ、
前記反射型偏光分離素子の出射面側には、表面凹凸素子が配され、
前記反射型偏光分離素子の平坦面と前記表面凹凸素子の平坦面とを直接密着させ一体化され、
前記反射型偏光分離素子は、光透過性基材の上にワイヤー状の金属を格子状に配列形成して成り、金属格子形成面を光源側にして配されることを特徴とするLCDパネル用バックライトユニット。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のバックライトユニットを備えたことを特徴とする,液晶表示装置。
