Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention includes a dash panel that constitutes a front end wall of a passenger compartment and extends in the up-down direction, a floor panel that extends rearward continuously from the dash panel, and protrudes upward at a substantially central portion of the floor panel to extend in the front-rear direction of the vehicle. The present invention relates to a front body structure of a vehicle having a tunnel portion extending in the direction.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Application No. 2-20423, it is known that a door opening provided on a side portion of a vehicle is configured to be opened and closed by a freestyle front door and a rear door. Yes.
[0003]
That is, a door opening portion of a center pillar-less structure is formed on the side portion of the vehicle, and the front side of the door opening portion is supported to be able to open and close via a front door hinge, and the rear side portion of the door opening portion. The rear door is supported by a rear door hinge so that it can be opened and closed.
[0004]
When a freestyle door with a center pillar-less structure with the above configuration is applied to a passenger car and the door opening is set large in consideration of passenger embarkation, the door opening is large and the door becomes large. Development of a vehicle body structure having sufficient vehicle body rigidity is desired in view of the fact that the load at the time of opening and closing is biased to the hinge pillar.
[0005]
On the other hand, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-238667 discloses a floor tunnel portion having a lower open U-shaped cross-section projecting upward, and an auxiliary frame (tunnel member) having a closed cross-section structure provided above the floor tunnel portion. A vehicle body structure including a vehicle is disclosed.
[0006]
When this vehicle body structure is applied to a vehicle body structure provided with a freestyle door having a center pillar-less structure as described above, it is possible to improve the floor rigidity and the body rigidity of a vehicle having a freestyle door. There is a problem that it is difficult to sufficiently suppress the retraction amount of the dash panel at the time, and it is difficult to sufficiently suppress the amount of the side sill and the door entering the vehicle interior at the time of the side collision of the vehicle. .
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the dash panel, a dash cross member whose outer end portion in the vehicle width direction is joined to the hinge pillar, an intermediate portion extends in the vehicle width direction along the dash panel, and is connected to the side surface of the tunnel portion from the outer side in the vehicle width direction. By providing it, the load input to the dash panel can be distributed to the tunnel part and the hinge pillar at the time of a normal collision to improve the proof stress, and the amount of retreat of the dash panel can be suppressed. It is an object of the present invention to provide a front body structure of a vehicle that can suppress a side sill or a door intrusion amount into a vehicle interior by dispersing a side impact load in a tunnel portion.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A front body structure of a vehicle according to the present invention comprises a front end wall of a passenger compartment, and includes a dash panel extending in a vertical direction, and a floor panel extending rearward continuously from the dash panel, and substantially at the center of the floor panel. A vehicle body front body structure provided with a tunnel portion that protrudes upward and extends in the front-rear direction of the vehicle, wherein the dash panel has an end on the outer side in the vehicle width direction connected to a hinge pillar, A dash cross member is provided that extends in the horizontal width direction along the vehicle interior side surface of the dash panel from the connecting portion of the dash panel and is joined to the side surface of the tunnel portion from the vehicle width direction outside. The dash cross members are provided on the left and right sides of the tunnel portion, respectively, and the vehicle interior side upper surface of the tunnel portion extends along the tunnel portion to the side surfaces on the left and right sides of the tunnel portion. A tunnel member connected to the member is provided, and the dash cross member is provided to extend in a substantially horizontal vehicle width direction at a height position spaced upward with respect to the height of the horizontal portion of the floor panel,
The tunnel member is provided so as to extend in the front-rear direction along the upper surface of the tunnel portion so as to form a closed cross section with the tunnel portion. The tunnel member extends forward from the dash cross member joining portion and is joined to the dash panel.Is.
The dash panel having the above configuration can be set as a dash lower panel.
[0009]
According to the above configuration, since the above-described dash cross member is provided between the dash panel, the tunnel portion, and the hinge pillar, the load input to the dash panel during the frontal collision of the vehicle is tunneled through the dash cross member. It is possible to improve the yield strength by dispersing it in the portion and the hinge pillar, and as a result, the retreat amount of the dash panel can be suppressed.
Further, since the side impact load is distributed to the tunnel portion via the dash cross member at the time of a side collision of the vehicle, the amount of the side sill or door entering the vehicle interior can be suppressed.
[0010]
furtherThe dash cross members are provided on the left and right sides of the tunnel portion, respectively, and the vehicle interior side upper surface of the tunnel portion extends along the tunnel portion to the side surfaces on the left and right sides of the tunnel portion. A tunnel member connected to the member is provided. Therefore, in the case of a side collision of the vehicle, a side collision load is transmitted to the tunnel member via the hinge pillar and the dash cross member in any direction from the right side or the left side, and this load is transmitted to the tunnel member. Therefore, the amount of side sills and doors entering the vehicle compartment can be further suppressed.
[0011]
FurthermoreThe dash cross member is provided so as to extend in a substantially horizontal vehicle width direction at a height position spaced upward with respect to the height of the horizontal portion of the floor panel.
[0012]
in this waySince the height of the dash cross member is set to the above-mentioned height position, the rigidity (strength) of the hinge pillar can be reinforced by the dash cross member, and in particular, the strength against side collision can be improved. it can.
[0013]
in additionThe tunnel member is the tunnel section.Top surface ofExtending in the back-and-forth direction to form a closed cross section with the tunnel portion.I like thisBy setting the tunnel member, the floor rigidity and the vehicle body rigidity can be improved.
[0014]
In one embodiment of the present invention, the tunnel member is disposed in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle over the entire length of the tunnel portion, and the front end of the tunnel member is connected to the dash panel.
According to the above construction, the floor member and the vehicle body rigidity can be further improved by the tunnel member over the entire length of the tunnel portion, and of course, the front end of the tunnel member is connected to the dash panel. The load input to the dash panel can be distributed to the tunnel portion, the tunnel member, and the hinge pillar to greatly improve the proof stress.
[0015]
In one embodiment of the present invention, a rear end portion of the front side frame is connected to a portion corresponding to the dash cross member connection portion on the outer side surface of the dash panel.
[0016]
According to the above configuration, the load transmitted from the front side frame at the time of the frontal collision of the vehicle can be distributed to the tunnel portion and the hinge pillar via the dash panel and the dash cross member, and the proof stress can be improved. Can also be improved.
[0017]
In one embodiment of the present invention, a door opening is provided in a side portion of the vehicle, and an annular reinforcement that extends continuously and annularly along the door opening is provided. .
[0018]
According to the above configuration, by providing the annular reinforcement, the vehicle body rigidity and the torsional rigidity of the vehicle body can be improved, and the operability can be improved.
[0019]
In one embodiment of the present invention, the hinge pillar side end of the dash cross member is joined to the annular reinforcement via a hinge pillar inner.
[0020]
According to the above configuration, by joining the other end of the dash cross member to the high-rigidity annular reinforcement, the vehicle body rigidity can be significantly improved, and the resistance to normal and side impact loads can be increased. Further improvement can be achieved.
[0021]
In one embodiment of the present invention, the door opening is opened and closed by a freestyle door having a front door supported by a hinge and a rear door supported by a hinge.
[0022]
According to the above-described configuration, the above-described effect can be exhibited even better in a vehicle having such a freestyle door, and in particular, the hinge pillar that supports the front door front portion via the hinge is reinforced by the dash cross member. Therefore, even if the door opening and the front door are set large, sufficient support rigidity of the front door can be ensured.
