Description
磁気ヘッドと、
磁気ヘッドを支持するタング部と、タング部に接続されタング部両側を通りタング部後方に回り込んで互いに接続された、タング部を支持する一対のアーム部と、一対のアーム部が互いに接続された接続部と、その接続部後方において幅方向に括れた括れ部とを有し、括れ部よりもさらに後方に延在して磁気ヘッドに接続される配線を導くフレキシャと、
第1面側にフレキシャを支持して前後方向に延在し、フレキシャの、タング部よりも後方の一部分を覗かせる開口を有するロードビームと、
ロードビームの第2面側から、ロードビームおよび、開口から覗くフレキシャの双方に跨って配置された制振部材とを備え、
ロードビームは、開口として、括れ部の幅方向について括れ部全幅を覗かせるとともに、前後方向について、少なくとも、括れ部と接続部との境界領域を覗かせる位置および寸法の開口を有する。
また、ここに示す例では、一対のアーム部324を構成する左右それぞれのアーム部324がさらに2本ずつのアーム324a,324bに分かれており、柔軟性をさらに増している。

Claims (4)
- 磁気ヘッドと、
前記磁気ヘッドを支持するタング部と、該タング部に接続され該タング部両側を通り該タング部後方に回り込んで互いに接続されて該タング部を支持する一対のアーム部と、
該一対のアーム部が互いに接続された接続部と、該接続部の後方において幅方向に括れた括れ部とを有し、該括れ部よりもさらに後方に延在して前記磁気ヘッドに接続される配線を導くフレキシャと、
第1面側にフレキシャを支持して前後方向に延在し、該フレキシャの、前記タング部よりも後方の一部分を覗かせる開口を有するロードビームと、
前記ロードビームの第2面側から、該ロードビームおよび、前記開口から覗く前記フレキシャの双方に跨って配置された制振部材とを備え、
前記ロードビームは、前記開口として、前記括れ部の幅方向について該括れ部全幅を覗かせるとともに、前後方向について、少なくとも、該括れ部と前記接続部との境界領域を覗かせる位置および寸法の開口を有することを特徴とする磁気ヘッドアセンブリ。 - 前記ロードビームが、該ロードビームの幅方向両側に、前記第2面側に立設して前後方向に延在するレール部を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の磁気ヘッドアセンブリ。
- 前記フレキシャは、金属製の板形状を有する母材と、前記配線を有し前記母材上に搭載されたフレキシブル基板とからなり、前記フレキシブル基板は、少なくとも前記括れ部では、幅方向について、前記母材の幅よりも狭幅であって、該母材の内側に位置するものであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の磁気ヘッドアセンブリ。
- 請求項1から3のうちいずれか1項記載の磁気ヘッドアセンブリと、
回転駆動され前記磁気ヘッドにより情報の磁気的な記録および読出しを受ける磁気ディスクとを備えたことを特徴とする磁気ディスク装置。
