Description
The present invention relates to a storage container for storing a substrate having a functional layer on its surface for transportation, storage and the like, such as a glass substrate used for a color filter of a liquid crystal display, a thin film transistor (TFT), and the like. The present invention relates to a substrate storage body that stores a substrate.
However, both of these have problems. That is, in the method of stacking diagonally as shown in
As shown in
In view of this, the present inventors have previously proposed a method in which a uniform pressing force is applied to the entire upper surface of the stack by means of an air bag so as to be transported. However, although this method is a good means, depending on the conditions of transportation and storage, the slipping of the slip sheets used for the stack may occur, and the bulk of the stack may decrease, thereby reducing the pressing force by the airbag. In some cases, the glass substrate moves during transportation and damages the functional layer of the glass substrate.
The present invention has been made in view of such problems, and can accommodate a large amount of a substrate such as a glass substrate used for a color filter or a thin film transistor (TFT) of a liquid crystal display in a compact manner and can move during transportation. The storage container that can be transported and stored without damaging the substrate and the substrate in the substrate storage container in response to changes in the bulkiness of the substrate stack during transportation and storage. A substrate storage body having a stored structure is provided.
A first invention is a storage container for storing and transporting a stack formed by stacking a plurality of substrates, and includes a support surface on which the stack can be placed in a state where the substrate is horizontal. a support base, said to face the top surface of the placed stack the support base, and the load bearing plate is provided connected to the support base, is disposed between the stack and the load supporting plate, An air bag that is supported by the load support plate and applies a uniform pressing force to the entire upper surface of the stack, and an air bag that is installed in the storage container, supplies air into the air bag, the pressure possess an adjustment to pressure regulating means so as to maintain constant, the pressure regulating means comprises an electric pump that operates by a change in pressure in the airbag, the pressure in the airbag drops When air is supplied by the electric pump, Serial is a substrate storage container which is characterized in that pressure regulation in the airbag.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a storage container for storing and transporting a stack formed by stacking a plurality of substrates, comprising a support surface on which the stack can be placed in a state where the substrate is horizontal. And a load support plate connected to the support base so as to face the upper surface of the stack placed on the support base, and disposed between the load support plate and the stack. An airbag that is supported by the load support plate and applies a uniform pressing force to the entire upper surface of the stack; and an airbag that is installed in the storage container, supplies air into the airbag, and is transported Pressure adjusting means for adjusting the internal pressure to be kept constant, and the pressure adjusting means includes a pressure adjusting valve and a vibration drive pump that is driven by vibration to supply air. The substrate storage container is characterized in that the pressure is adjusted.
According to the substrate storage container of the present invention, the substrate stack is placed on the support surface of the support table in a state where the support table is horizontally arranged (or on the support table). By stacking the substrates horizontally to form a stack, and by applying a uniform pressing force to the entire upper surface of the stack with an air bag, the stack can be pressed against the support base and fixed. By having a pressure adjusting means for adjusting the pressure in the airbag by supplying air to the airbag as needed or constantly, the thickness of the slip sheets used for the stack decreased due to a special transportation environment such as high temperature. Even in such a case, the necessary pressing force can continue to be applied to the entire upper surface of the stack, so that the fixing is reliable and the substrate does not move during transportation and cause damage.
By using the airbag, a uniform pressing force can be easily applied to a wide area, and the pressing force can be easily adjusted by adjusting the air pressure supplied to the airbag.
Since multiple boards are stacked horizontally and a uniform pressing force is applied to the entire upper surface, even if the board size is large or the number of stored sheets is large, each board has a uniform pressure over the entire area. For this reason, the substrate is securely fixed and does not move and damage the substrate during transportation.
Conventionally, when locally tightening with a band or the like, a portion with a large pressing force is locally generated, and there is a risk of damaging the portion. In the present invention, a uniform pressing force is applied to the entire substrate. Therefore, even if the pressing force per unit area is set small, the substrate can be restrained so as not to move, and the substrate can be prevented from being damaged in this respect. Thus, by using the storage container of the present invention, a large number of large-sized substrates can be stored in a compact manner, and can be safely transported and stored without causing damage to the substrate, thereby reducing the cost of transporting the substrate. Can do.
In the present invention, the pressing means is configured to apply a uniform pressing force to the entire upper surface of the stack. However, the “upper surface” in the claims is not necessarily limited to the entire upper surface. Even if the area is somewhat smaller than the entire area, it may be any area as long as the substrate can be restrained from moving by applying a uniform load to the area. Specifically, the area is about 80% or more of the entire upper surface. Means.
In addition, if a flat reinforcing plate is disposed between the airbag and the stack and / or between the stack and the support base, the substrate is supported or pressed by the flat reinforcing member. And the effect of further preventing damage to the substrate can be obtained.
Further, if the support base is a pallet, an effect of facilitating transportation using a forklift or the like can be obtained. Further, when the lid is detachably attached to the pallet so as to surround the stacked body placed on the pallet, and the top plate of the lid acts as the load support plate, the lid By combining the load support plate, the structure can be simplified, and the stacked body can be covered with the lid to prevent the adhesion of dust, dust and the like to the substrate.
Further, when a cushion material inserted between the side surface of the stack and the side plate of the lid is provided, an effect that the motion of the stack can be further restricted by the cushion material is obtained.
Moreover, when it is set as the structure which has the 2nd pallet which accommodates the inner pallet formed with the said pallet and the cover attached to it, and the outer box which consists of a 2nd cover body, in the inner box accommodated in the outer box When this inner box is carried into a factory that uses a substrate without dust, dust, etc., the factory can be kept clean without being accompanied by dust, dust, etc. can get.
The substrate storage body of the present invention has a configuration in which a stack body in which substrates and interleaf sheets are alternately stacked is stored in the substrate storage container according to any one of claims 1 to 6. The substrate can be stored in a state protected with a slip sheet, and can be safely transported and stored without causing damage to the substrate. Even if the thickness of the slip sheets used for the stack is reduced due to a special transport environment such as high temperature, the necessary pressing force can continue to be applied to the entire upper surface of the stack during transportation and storage. It is reliable and does not cause damage by moving the substrate during transportation.
Here, if the interleaf paper is a foamed sheet of resin, the substrate can be well protected because it has appropriate softness, and damage to the substrate can be further prevented.
The substrate to be stored in the substrate storage body of the present invention is arbitrary, but is preferably a glass substrate provided with a functional layer, whereby a glass substrate provided with a functional layer that is easily damaged during transportation. Can be transported safely without causing damage.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

In the present invention, the
図5において、基板3は、ガラス板等の基板本体3aの片面に、機能層3b(例えば、カラーフィルタ用の基板の場合には、ブラックマトリックス、着色画素、ITO電極などを備えた層)を備え、更にその上に、保管、運搬中等における損傷を防止するための保護膜3cを形成している。
In FIG. 5, the
The
The planar size of the
When a large number of
The form for inserting the interleaving paper is not particularly limited, and it is sufficient that the interleaving paper is present at a position covering at least the effective area of the
In the form shown in FIG. 6, since the end of the
In the form shown in FIG. 7, the
The material used for the
1-4, the substrate storage container 10 has a double structure including an inner box for storing the
Here, the
In order to position the
As will be described later, the top plate 13a of the
The
On the
Therefore, the
Further, a
An
The pressure of air in the
The reinforcing
The reinforcing
The outer box that houses the inner box composed of the
Next, a method for storing the
After that, the
At this time, since the
Further, since the
Thereafter, the whole is housed in an outer box formed by the
As described above, by using this storage container, the
In unpacking, the
According to the present embodiment, when the substrate is transported and stored, the
In the above embodiment, only the pressing force by the

Next, a substrate storage body according to the second embodiment will be described.
FIG. 9 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the

Further, as a pressure regulating means for the airbag, a
