壁面には導電性の閉ループが存在しないことが好ましい。通常は、内側ステントおよび外側ステントの少なくとも一部は金属製である。
外側ステント(すなわち第1のステント)および内側ステント(すなわち第2のステント)のうちの少なくとも1つ、好ましくは双方は、磁気共鳴適合材料からなることが好ましい。内側ステントすなわち第2のステント、および外側ステントすなわち第1のステントは、双方とも非導電性材料を周りに配置された導電性材料よりなる。
一実施態様において、本発明は脈管のための管状インサートに関する。図2c中の100に平面で図示するインサートは、内側ステント104および外側ステント108を備える。内側ステント104の少なくとも一部は外側ステント108の内部に配置されている。外側ステントは長さ方向に延びる軸線110を備え、導電性を有しかつ長さ方向に延びる軸線が中を過ぎる同長さ方向に延びる軸線を中心に配置された閉ループを有しないように構成されている。内側ステントは長さ方向に延びる軸線110を備え、導電性を有しかつ長さ方向に延びる軸線が中を過ぎる同長さ方向に延びる軸線を中心に配置された閉ループを有しないように構成されている。内側ステントと外側ステントとの間には、少なくとも1つ、好ましくは複数の非導電性の連結部112が備えられている。壁面は外側ステントと内側ステントにより形成されており、管状インサートの壁面には導電性を有する閉ループは存在しない。
本発明の装置の一例は、図2e中の100である管状の形状に図示される。装置は内側ステント104、外側ステント108、および複数の連結部112を備える。
おいて均等に広いことが異なっている。図4cの装置においては連結部がより少ない。連結部112aの第1列は、ステントの一面において上方に延びており、連結部の第2列112bは第1列の連結部と対向して、装置に沿って延びている。
さらに、内側ステントは外側ステントよりも多くの波型を有していてもよく、その逆もまたよい。波型が一定の頻度および大きさを有することが特徴である場合には、内側ステントおよび外側ステントは異なる頻度および/または大きさを有することができるし、同一の頻度および/または大きさを有することができる。内側のステントは外側のステントよりも厚い材料からなることも、薄い材料からなることもできるし、その逆もまたよい。内側ステントと外側ステントとが同一の厚さであってもよい。内側ステントおよび外側ステントは同一の材料からなっていても、異なる材料からなっていてもよい。内側ステントの材料は外側ステントの材料より幅が広くてもよいし、幅が狭くてもよく、同一の幅を有していてもよい。
つ以上の箇所において互いに連結される。内側ステントと外側ステントとの間の連結は、導電性の閉ループを形成しないようにされる。
例は図2eに図示する。本発明に係る管状部材はまた、多層のストラットを備える単一のステントにより形成される。
切な非らせん状の例を図8a,8bに示す。通常は、第1のステントおよび第2のステントは異なる座標系を備え、一方のステントは右手系であり、他方のステントは左手系である。異なる座標系を有するステントの例を、図2a〜2b,3a〜3b,4a〜4b,6a〜6b,7a〜7b,8a〜8bに図示する。第1のステントは第2のステントの直径よりも大きな直径を備える。
本発明はまた、第1のステントパターンを有する第1のステントと、第2のステントパターンを有する第2のステントとを備える医療装置に関する。第2のステントパターンは第1のステントパターンの鏡像である。第1のステントは医療装置の長さ方向に延びる軸線を中心として第1の方向に巻回され、第2のステントは医療装置の長さ方向に延びる軸線を中心として逆方向に巻回されている。第2のステントは第1のステントの内部に配置されている。第1のステント及び第2のステントは、互いに絡み合ってはおらず、互いを中心に巻きついてもいない。このような医療装置の例を、図2c,3c,4c,6c,7c,8cに図示する。
本発明はまた、第1のらせん状のステントと第2のらせん状のステントとからなる医療装置に関する。第1のらせん状のステントおよび第2のらせん状のステントは異なるパターンを有し、第1のステントは第2のステントを中心に配置されている。このような医療装置の例は図5cに示されている。
願において開示する任意の新規なステントを準備する準備工程と、同ステントをカテーテルに配置する配置工程と、同ステントを二又領域に搬送する搬送工程と、ステントを留置する留置工程からなる。付加的なステントは、本発明のステントの1つのセルを介し、米国特許第5749825号明細書に開示されている任意の適切な技術を用いて分岐した脈管の1つに留置される。
マー材料、薬品などからなる1つ以上の被覆物および/または他の搬送機構を備えることができる。被覆物および/または他の搬送機構は、外側ステント(第1のステント)またはその一部、内側ステント(第2のステント)またはその一部、あるいは双方のステントまたはそれらの一部に付与される。
ビニル、ポリエチレンオキサイド、グリコサミノグリカン、ポリサッカライド、ポリエチレンテレフタレートなどのポリエステル、ポリアクリルアミド、ポリエーテル、ポリエーテルスルホン、ポリカーボネート、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、および高分子量ポリエチレンなどのポリアルキレン、ポリテトラフルオロエチレンなどのハロゲン化ポリアルキレン、ポリウレタン、ポリオルソエステル、タンパク質類、ポリペプチド類、シリコーン、シロキサンポリマー、ポリ乳酸、ポリグリコール酸、ポリカプロラクトン、ポリヒドロキシブチレートバリレート、およびこれらの混合物および共重合体、ポリウレタン分散物(BAYHDROL(商標)など)などのポリマー分散物からなる被覆物、フィブリン、コラーゲンおよびその誘導体、セルロース、澱粉、デキストラン、アルギン酸塩およびその誘導体などのポリサッカライド、ヒアルロン酸、スクアレン乳剤がある。好ましくは、ハイドロプラス(HYDROPLUS、商標)(ボストンサイエンティフィックコーポレーション、マサチュセッツ州ナーティック所在)として市販されており、米国特許第5091205号明細書に記載されているポリアクリル酸である。ポリマーはポリ乳酸とポリカプロラクトンとの共重合体もまた好ましい。他の材料としては、PGA−TMC、チロシン由来のポリカーボネートおよびアリレート、ポリカプロラクトンブチルアクリレートコポリマーおよび他の共重合体、DL−乳酸混合ポリ−L−乳酸、乳酸・グリコール酸共重合体、ポリカプロラクトン・PLA共重合体、ポリカプロラクトン・ブチルアクリレート共重合体および他の共重合体、チロシン由来のポリカーボネートおよびアリレート、ポリアミノ酸、ポリホスファザン、ポリイミノカーボネート、ポリジメチルトリメチルカーボネート、生分解性CA/PO4、シアノアクリレート、50/50DLPLG、ポリジオキサノン、ポリプロピレンフマレート、またはポリデプシペプチドなどの医療グレードの生体適応性材料がある。

Claims (13)
- 内側ステンントおよび外側ステントを有する脈管のための管状インサートであって、内側ステントの少なくとも一部は外側ステントの内部に配置され、
外側ステントは長さ方向に延びる軸線を有するとともに、
1)導電性を有し、かつ
2)前記長さ方向に延びる軸線が中を通過するように、同軸線を中心として配置された閉ループを有することなく構成され、
内側ステントは長さ方向に延びる軸線を有するとともに、
1)導電性を有し、かつ
2)前記長さ方向に延びる軸線が中を通過するように、同軸線を中心として配置された閉ループを有することなく構成され、
前記内側ステント及び前記外側ステントの各々は、複数の基端側屈曲部と、複数の先端側屈曲部と、前記基端側屈曲部を前記先端側屈曲部から離間する複数の直線状の部分と、を含み、
前記内側ステントの前記直線状の部分の少なくとも一つは、隣接する直線状の部分よりも長い直線状の長い部分を含み、同内側ステントの前記直線状の長い部分は前記外側ステントの前記直線状の部分の少なくとも一つと重なリ合う重複部分を有し、
前記内側ステント及び前記外側ステントは、前記重複部分にて、同内側ステントと同外側ステントとの間の非導電性連結部によって連結している管状インサート。 - 内側ステントと外側ステントとの間に複数の非導電性連結部を有する請求項1に記載の管状インサート。
- 内側ステントはらせん状のステントであり、外側ステントはらせん状のステントである請求項1又は2に記載の管状インサート。
- 非導電性連結部はプラスチックからなる請求項1又は3に記載の管状インサート。
- 非導電性連結部は接着剤からなる請求項1又は3に記載の管状インサート。
- 非導電性連結部はセラミックからなる請求項1又は3に記載の管状インサート。
- 外側ステントおよび内側ステントのうちの一方は、ステントの長さ方向に延びる軸線を中心にしてステントの一端から他端の方に向かって時計回りに延び、
外側ステントおよび内側ステントのうちの他方は、ステントの長さ方向に延びる軸線を中心にして反時計回りに延びる請求項3に記載の管状インサート。 - 外側ステントおよび内側ステントのうちの少なくとも1つは、磁気共鳴適合材料からなる請求項1に記載の管状インサート。
- 外側ステントは、外側ステントの長さ方向に延びる軸線に対して斜状または直角をなして延びる複数の相互に連結したループを備え、同ループは外側ステントの長さ方向に延びる軸線を中心に部分的に延び、
内側ステントは、内側ステントの長さ方向に延びる軸線に対して斜状または直角をなして延びる複数の相互に連結したループを備え、同ループは内側ステントの長さ方向に延びる軸線を中心に部分的に延びる請求項1に記載の管状インサート。 - 複数のセルを有し、各セルは外側ステント、内側ステントの一部、および外側ステントと内側ステントとの間の少なくとも2つの連結部により形成される請求項2に記載の管状インサート。
- 内側ステントおよび外側ステントは非導電性材料を周囲に配置された導電性材料からなる請求項2に記載の管状インサート。
- 前記管状インサートの壁面は外側ステントおよび内側ステントにより形成され、同壁面中には導電性の閉ループは存在しない請求項1又は2に記載の管状インサート。
- 外側ステントおよび内側ステントの一部は金属よりなる請求項1に記載の管状インサート。
