Description

一実施形態において、本発明は、例として図1において符号100にて示すステントに関する。ステントは、ステント周囲を円周方向に延び、かつ交互に配置された頂点部108および谷部112を有する少なくとも一つの蛇状帯を備えている。頂点部は、比較的短い頂点部108aと比較的長い頂点部108b、108cとを有する。比較的長い頂点部は、比較的短い頂点部よりも長手方向に長くなっている。比較的長い頂点部は、ステントの長手方向に延びる軸線101に対して平行にならない第一の方向に延びる第一の屈曲した頂点部108bと、ステントの長手方向に延びる軸線に対して平行にならない第二の方向に延びる第二の屈曲した頂点部108cとを有する。各第一屈曲頂点部108bは、同第一屈曲頂点部に対向する1個の第二屈曲頂点部と、第一屈曲頂点部とは反対の方向を向いた1個の第二屈曲頂点部と、円周方向にて隣接している。互いに対向し、かつ隣接する第一屈曲頂点部108bと第二屈曲頂点部108cとは、少なくとも1個の比較的短い頂点部108aによって隔離されている。
図1に示すように、連結部116は、一つの蛇状帯の比較的短い頂点部から、該蛇状帯と長手方向において隣接する蛇状帯の比較的短い谷部へ延びることが好ましい。
向いた隣接する第一屈曲頂点と第二屈曲頂点部とは、比較的短い頂点部のいずれによっても隔離されていない。
曲頂点部112は、隣接する頂点部108の周囲を少なくとも部分的に包囲している。谷部112は、互いに対向するように屈曲された少なくとも2個の屈曲谷部112b,11
2cを有することが好ましい。各屈曲谷部は、隣接する谷部112aの周囲を少なくとも部分的に包囲している。
非遺伝子治療薬には、ヘパリン、ヘパリン誘導体、ウロキナーゼ、およびPPack(デキストロフェニルアラニンプロリンアルギニンクロロメチルケトン)等の抗血栓形成薬

子と細胞毒とから構成されるニ機能性分子、抗体と細胞毒とから構成されるニ機能性分子等の血管細胞成長抑制剤;コレステロール低下薬;血管拡張薬;内因性バスコアクティブ(vascoactive)機構を妨害する薬剤が含まれる。
(登録商標)]等のポリマーディスパージョンフィブリン、コラーゲンおよびその誘導体
、セルロース等の多糖類、澱粉、デキストリン、アルギン酸塩およびその誘導体、ヒアル

が、特に望ましい。ポリ乳酸とポリカプロラクトンとの共重合体が、さらに望ましい。
ダム共重合体が含まれるが、これらに限定されない。米国特許第6,280,457号に開示されているような他の化合物も含まれ得る。

しかしながら、図6の拡大図に示すように、矢印218で示す、ステントの外側に面する個々の部分214に作用するほぼ長手方向の外方向の力によって、頂点部108b、108cが圧縮されて、角度Φ2が減少される。

Claims (13)
- 長手方向に延びる軸線に特徴づけられたステントであって、同ステントの周囲を円周方向に延び、かつ交互に配置された頂点部および谷部を有する少なくとも一つの蛇状帯を備え、
前記頂点部は、比較的短い頂点部と比較的長い頂点部とを有し、前記比較的長い頂点部は、長手方向において比較的短い頂点部よりも長く、
前記比較的長い頂点部は、前記ステントの長手方向に延びる軸線に対して平行にならない第一の方向に延びる第一の屈曲した頂点部と、ステントの長手方向に延びる軸線に対して平行にならない第二の方向に延びる第二の屈曲した頂点部とを有し、
各第一屈曲頂点部は、同第一屈曲頂点部に対向する1個の第二屈曲頂点部と、該第一屈曲頂点部とは反対の方向を向いた1個の第二屈曲頂点部と円周方向にて隣接し、
互いに対向し、かつ隣接する第一屈曲頂点部と第二屈曲頂点部とは、少なくとも1個の比較的短い頂点部によって隔離されており、
前記谷部は、比較的短い谷部と比較的長い谷部とを有し、前記比較的長い谷部は、長手方向において比較的短い谷部よりも長く、
前記比較的長い谷部は、前記ステントの長手方向に延びる軸線に対して平行にならない第一の方向に延びる第一の屈曲した谷部と、ステントの長手方向に延びる軸線に対して平行にならない第二の方向に延びる第二の屈曲した谷部とを有し、
各第一屈曲谷部は、同第一屈曲谷部に対向する1個の第二屈曲谷部と、該第一屈曲谷部とは反対の方向を向いた1個の第二屈曲谷部と円周方向にて隣接し、
互いに対向し、かつ隣接する第一屈曲谷部と第二屈曲谷部とは、少なくとも1個の比較的短い谷部によって隔離されており、
互いに反対の方向を向いた隣接する第一屈曲谷部と第二屈曲谷部とは、比較的短い谷部のいずれによっても隔離されず、互いに反対の方向を向いた隣接する第一屈曲頂点部と第二屈曲頂点部とは、比較的短い頂点部のいずれによっても隔離されず、互いに対向し、かつ隣接する第一屈曲谷部と第二屈曲谷部とは、少なくとも2個の比較的短い谷部によって隔離され、互いに対向し、かつ隣接する第一屈曲頂点部と第二屈曲頂点部とは、少なくとも2個の比較的短い頂点部によって隔離されているステント。 - 複数の蛇状帯を備える請求項1に記載のステント。
- 長手方向に互いに隣接する蛇状帯は互いに連結されている、請求項2に記載のステント。
- 長手方向に互いに隣接する蛇状帯は、一つの蛇状帯の比較的短い頂点部から、該蛇状帯と長手方向において隣接する蛇状帯の比較的短い谷部へ延びる少なくとも1個の長手方向の連結部によって互いに連結されている請求項2に記載のステント。
- 長手方向に互いに隣接する蛇状帯は、一つの蛇状帯の比較的短い頂点部から、該蛇状帯と長手方向において隣接する蛇状帯の比較的短い谷部へ延びる複数の長手方向の連結部によって互いに連結されている請求項2に記載のステント。
- 一種以上の形状金属材料から形成されている請求項1に記載のステント。
- 自己拡張型に構成配置されている請求項1に記載のステント。
- 請求項7に記載のステントがカテーテル上に配置され、該ステントはシースにより束縛されているステントとカテーテルとの組み合わせ。
- 前記各屈曲頂点部は、隣接する比較的短い頂点部の周囲を少なくとも部分的に包囲している請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記各屈曲谷部は隣接する比較的短い谷部の周囲を少なくとも部分的に包囲している請求項9に記載のステント。
- 前記ステントの少なくとも一部上に被膜が設けられた、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記被膜は、基質化合物からなる請求項11に記載のステント。
- 前記被膜は、ラクチド、グリコリド、およびカプロラクトン重合体ならびに共重合体;ヒドロキシブチレートおよびポリヒドロキシ吉草酸、ならびにこれらのブロックおよびランダム共重合体;ポリエーテルエステル;セバシン酸、ヘキサデカンジオン酸の無水物、重合体および共重合体;オルトエステル;ポリジオキシノン(polydioxinone);ポリグリコール酸およびポリ乳酸、ならびにこれらのブロックおよびランダム共重合体、ならびにこれらの任意の組み合わせのうちから選択された少なくとも一つからなる、請求項11に記載のステント。
