Description
The present invention relates to a power train control device, a control method, a program for realizing the method, and a recording medium on which the program is recorded, and in particular, in a power train including a differential mechanism having a plurality of rotation elements, The present invention relates to a technique for controlling a power train so that the number of rotations does not become excessive.
Conventionally, a hybrid vehicle having an engine and a rotating electric machine as drive sources is known. In such a hybrid vehicle, an engine and a rotating electric machine are selectively used according to the traveling state of the vehicle. For example, the vehicle travels mainly using an engine when traveling at a high speed, and travels mainly using a rotating electrical machine when traveling at a medium or low speed. One such hybrid vehicle includes a multi-stage automatic transmission in addition to a differential mechanism that functions as a continuously variable transmission using a rotating electrical machine.
Japanese Patent Laying-Open No. 2005-337491 (Patent Document 1) includes a first element coupled to an engine, a second element coupled to a first electric motor (rotating electric machine), and a third element coupled to a second electric motor. Control of a vehicle drive device comprising a continuously variable transmission having a configured differential mechanism and functioning as an electric continuously variable transmission, and a transmission provided between the continuously variable transmission and the wheels An apparatus is disclosed. In the control device described in Patent Document 1, the gear of the continuously variable transmission unit is synchronized with the shift so that the gear ratio formed by the continuously variable transmission unit and the transmission unit is continuous when the transmission unit shifts. Including a continuously variable transmission control unit.
By the way, when a multi-stage automatic transmission is connected to the differential mechanism, when the multi-stage automatic transmission is switched from a neutral state to a state in which a gear stage is formed, the rotation of the rotary element connected to the input shaft of the multi-stage automatic transmission The number changes step by step. Due to the characteristics of the differential mechanism, when the rotational speed of at least one of the three rotational elements changes, the rotational speed of the other rotational elements changes. Therefore, when the rotational speed of the rotary element connected to the input shaft of the multi-stage automatic transmission changes stepwise, the rotational speed of the rotary element different from the rotary element connected to the engine is used with the engine speed as a fulcrum in the alignment chart. The number changes greatly. At this time, depending on the engine speed, the rotational speed of the rotating element may be excessively high. For example, when the rotational speed of the rotary element connected to the input shaft of the multi-stage automatic transmission increases stepwise, if the engine speed is “0”, the rotational speed is different from that of the rotary element connected to the engine. The rotational speed of the element increases in the opposite direction to the rotational element connected to the input shaft of the multi-stage automatic transmission. However, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2005-337491 has no description regarding such a problem.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to control a power train, a control method, and a method thereof that can prevent the rotational speed of a rotating element from becoming excessively high. And a recording medium on which the program is recorded.
The power train control device according to the first invention has a plurality of rotating elements, and the number of rotations of the other rotating elements varies according to the number of rotations of at least one of the plurality of rotating elements. The differential mechanism, the rotating electrical machine connected to the first rotating element of the plurality of rotating elements, and the second rotating element of the plurality of rotating elements, and transmitting torque to the wheels. A control apparatus for a power train including a transmission capable of selecting a plurality of gear ratios and an engine coupled to a third rotating element among the plurality of rotating elements. The control device includes a determination means for determining, for each gear ratio, whether or not the engine needs to be started at the time of switching from the neutral state to a state in which torque is transmitted to the wheels, and the engine at the first gear ratio. If it is determined that it is necessary to start the engine and it is determined that it is not necessary to start the engine at the second gear ratio, the neutral state is switched to a state where torque is transmitted to the wheels at the second gear ratio. Means for controlling the transmission, means for controlling the engine to start after switching from the neutral state to a state where torque is transmitted to the wheels at the second gear ratio, and after starting the engine And means for controlling the transmission to shift from the second gear ratio to the first gear ratio. The power train control method according to the fifth invention has the same requirements as those of the power train control device according to the first invention.
According to the first or fifth invention, the differential mechanism has a plurality of rotating elements. The number of rotations of the other rotation elements changes according to the number of rotations of at least one of the plurality of rotation elements. The rotating electrical machine is coupled to the first rotating element among the plurality of rotating elements. A transmission is coupled to a second rotation element of the plurality of rotation elements. The transmission can select a plurality of gear ratios in a state where torque is transmitted to the wheels. The engine is connected to a third rotating element of the plurality of rotating elements. It is determined for each gear ratio whether or not the engine needs to be started when switching from the neutral state to a state in which torque is transmitted to the wheels. If it is determined that it is necessary to start the engine at the first gear ratio and it is not necessary to start the second engine, torque is transmitted from the neutral state to the wheels at the second gear ratio. The transmission is controlled to switch to the state. Thereby, even if it does not start an engine, it can switch to the state which transmits a torque to a wheel with the gear ratio which can be said that the rotation speed (absolute value of rotation speed) of the 1st rotation element does not become high too much. Therefore, when switching from the neutral state to the state where torque is transmitted to the wheels while the engine is stopped, the rotational speed of the first rotating element can be prevented from becoming excessively high. After switching from the neutral state to a state in which torque is transmitted to the wheels at the second gear ratio, the engine is started. After the engine is started, the speed is changed from the second gear ratio to the first gear ratio. Thus, the engine can be started in advance when shifting to the first gear ratio where it is necessary to start the engine. Therefore, it is possible to shift to the first gear ratio in a state where the rotation speed of the third rotation element is adjusted by the engine so that the rotation speed of the first rotation element does not become excessively high. As a result, it is possible to provide a control apparatus or control method for a power train that can prevent the rotational speed of the rotating element from becoming excessively high.
In the control apparatus for the power train according to the second invention, in addition to the configuration of the first invention, the judging means performs switching from the neutral state to the state in which the torque is transmitted to the wheels while the engine is stopped. Means for determining that it is necessary to start the engine if the absolute value of the rotational speed of at least one of the rotational elements of the motor is greater than a threshold value. The power train control method according to the sixth aspect has the same requirements as those of the power train control apparatus according to the second aspect.
According to the second or sixth invention, the absolute value of the rotational speed of at least one of the plurality of rotational elements is obtained by switching from the neutral state to the state in which torque is transmitted to the wheels while the engine is stopped. If it exceeds the threshold value, it is determined that the engine needs to be started. Thereby, the engine can be finally started. Therefore, the rotation speed of the third rotation element can be adjusted by the engine so that the absolute value of the rotation speed of the first rotation element does not become excessively high.
In the control apparatus for the power train according to the third invention, in addition to the configuration of the first invention, the judging means needs to start the engine when the engine speed and the vehicle speed are outside the predetermined range. Means for determining that there is. The power train control method according to the seventh invention has the same requirements as those of the power train control device according to the third invention.
According to the third or seventh invention, when the engine speed and the vehicle speed are outside the predetermined range, it is determined that the engine needs to be started. Thereby, the engine can be finally started. Therefore, the rotation speed of the third rotation element can be adjusted by the engine so that the rotation speed (absolute value of the rotation speed) of the first rotation element does not become excessively high.
In the power train control device according to the fourth invention, in addition to the configuration of any one of the first to third inventions, the first rotating element is a sun gear. The power train control method according to the eighth invention has the same requirements as those of the power train control device according to the fourth invention.

A program according to a ninth invention is a program for causing a computer to realize the control method according to any of the fifth to eighth inventions, and the recording medium according to the tenth invention is any one of the fifth to eighth inventions. When the ring gear rotational speed NR shown in FIG. 5 is replaced with the vehicle speed (output shaft rotational speed NO of the automatic transmission 400) using each gear ratio that can be selected in the power train, the permissible power level per gear stage (gear ratio) of the power train.

The shift in the power train is controlled based on, for example, a shift diagram shown in FIG. The shift map in the present embodiment is determined by using the target output torque calculated from the accelerator opening and the vehicle speed, and the vehicle speed as parameters. Note that the parameters of the shift map are not limited to these.

The C1 clutch 421, the C2 clutch 422, the
The
On the other hand, the

When the shift operation from the N position to the D position is performed, the
Whether or not it is necessary to start

In S108,
In S114,
An operation of
Here, it is assumed that the shift operation to the N position is performed at this time and the
Further, it is determined for each gear stage whether or not it is necessary to start
If switching from the neutral state to the state in which the forward first speed gear stage is formed is performed while the
Therefore, instead of the forward first speed gear stage, the forward second speed gear stage determined to be unnecessary to start the
After the forward second gear is established,
Thereafter, the speed is changed from the second forward gear to the first forward gear that is the target gear (S112). As a result, as shown in FIG. 17, it is possible to shift to the first forward gear while the
By the way, as indicated by black dots in FIG. 18, if the engine speed NE and the vehicle speed are within the allowable range of the first forward gear, it is determined that it is not necessary to start the
In this case, even when switching from the neutral state to the state in which the first forward gear stage is formed is performed while the
As described above, according to the ECU that is the control device according to the present embodiment, it is determined whether or not the engine needs to be started when switching from the neutral state to a state in which torque is transmitted to the wheels. When it is determined that the engine needs to be started at the target gear stage determined according to the shift diagram, the neutral state is switched to a state where torque is transmitted to the wheels at the gear stage determined that the engine does not need to be started. It is done. Thereby, even if it switches to the state which transmits a torque to a wheel, with an engine stopped, the absolute value of the rotation speed of a sun gear and a pinion gear can be prevented from becoming excessively high. The engine is started after the gear stage determined to be unnecessary to start the engine is formed. After the engine is started, a shift to the target gear stage is performed. Thereby, it is possible to shift to the target gear stage while the engine is driven. Therefore, the rotational speed of the carrier can be adjusted using the engine so that the absolute values of the rotational speeds of the sun gear and the pinion gear of the power split mechanism do not become excessive.
In addition, instead of making it possible to form five forward gears in the power train, four forward gears from the first gear to the fourth gear may be formed. When the power train is configured so that four forward gears can be formed, as shown in FIG. 19, the
By engaging the friction engagement elements in the combinations shown in the operation table shown in FIG. 20, four forward gears from the first gear to the fourth gear are formed.
The friction engagement element that is engaged when forming the third speed gear stage is the same as the friction engagement element that is engaged when forming the fourth speed gear stage. That is, the gear ratio in
When the third speed gear stage is formed, the
