Description
本発明は、医療用デバイスならびにより具体的には脂肪組織などの軟組織の非侵襲的処置のためのデバイスおよび方法に関する。
脂肪組織は、皮膚層下に位置する。したがって、脂肪組織を分解するために皮膚表面に適用されるエネルギーは、皮膚に損傷を与えることなく脂肪組織に到達するために皮膚層を通り抜けなければならない。
本発明は、脂肪組織、筋組織、または結合組織などの軟組織の処置のための方法および装置を提供する。本発明に従って、圧パルス(pressure pulse)が、大量の軟組織を覆う皮膚の領域に適用される。圧パルスは、周囲圧力に対する少なくとも一つの陰圧状態を有する。陰圧は、処置される組織を体から外側に引く。好ましい態様において、陰圧状態の後に、組織をその元の場所に戻すために、陽圧状態が続く。この手法において、各々のパルスが陰圧状態および陽圧状態を有する一連のパルスが、皮膚表面に適用され得る。
(a)周囲圧力に対する少なくとも一つの陰圧状態を有する少なくとも一つの圧パルスを軟組織塊を覆う皮膚表面に適用するように構成されたアプリケーターと、
(b)アプリケーターを活性化するように構成された制御ユニットとを含む、
軟組織塊の非侵襲的処置のための装置を提供する。
図1は、本発明の一つの態様に従う、脂肪組織などの軟体組織を処置するためのデバイスを示す。以下で詳細に記載されるアプリケーター100は、個人105の皮膚に適用されるように適合される。アプリケーター100は、ケーブル102における電気ワイヤを介して制御ユニット101に接続される。制御ユニット101は、電源108を含む。制御ユニット101は、アプリケーター100を以下で説明されるような既定温度に維持するためのエタノールまたは水などの液体を冷却する温度作用ユニット112も含む。制御ユニット101は、オペレーターが、陽および陰状態の強度、パルスの時間、ならびにパルス繰り返し数などの処置のパラメータの選択された値を入力することを可能にする、キーパッド110などの入力デバイスを有する。
Claims (14)
- 軟組織塊の非侵襲的処置のための装置であって、
少なくとも一つの圧パルスを軟組織塊を覆う皮膚表面に適用するよう構成されたアプリケーターであって、該圧パルスは、軟組織内に周囲圧力に対して陰圧を形成する少なくとも一つの引き状態、および軟組織内に周囲圧力に対して陽圧を形成する少なくとも一つの押し状態を有し、該引き状態は1〜10ミリ秒継続し、該押し状態は前記引き状態よりゆっくりであるアプリケーターと、
アプリケーターを活性化するように構成された制御ユニットと、
を含む装置。 - アプリケーターが、
a)磁場パルスを生成するように構成されたアクチュエータと、
b)磁気要素の動きを作り出すパルス磁場源と、
c)ロッドによってアクチュエータに連結されるポリマープレートと、
を含み、第一極性を有する磁場がロッドに適用される場合に、アクチュエータプレートが第一方向に移動し、第一極性と反対の極性を有する磁場がロッドに適用される場合に、アクチュエータプレートが第一方向と反対の第二方向に移動する、請求項1記載の装置。 - アクチュエータが電気コイルを含む、請求項2記載の装置。
- 5mmより大きい皮膚表面下の深さにおいて正常体組織温度より高い温度に脂肪組織を加熱するための脂肪組織加熱ユニットをさらに含み、該組織加熱ユニットは、閃光ランプ、レーザー、マイクロ波電力、導電性RF電極、および高密度超音波からなる群から選択される少なくとも一つの脂肪組織加熱要素である、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記脂肪組織加熱要素が、皮膚の表面に適用される導電性電極を介して組織に接続されたRF電流である、請求項4記載の装置。
- 前記脂肪組織加熱要素が、閃光ランプである、請求項4記載の装置。
- 前記脂肪組織加熱要素が、レーザーである、請求項4記載の装置。
- 前記脂肪組織加熱要素が、マイクロ波電力である、請求項4記載の装置。
- 前記脂肪組織加熱要素が、高密度超音波である、請求項4記載の装置。
- 前記加熱要素が、圧パルスの適用と同時に作動する、請求項4記載の装置。
- 温度作用ユニットをさらに含み、該温度作用ユニットは、アプリケーターを所定の温度に維持する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記温度作用ユニットが、冷却または加熱された流動体により、アプリケーターを所定の温度に維持する、請求項11記載の装置。
- アプリケーターが、柔軟性ポリマー材料から形成されるエネルギー送達表面を有する、請求項1記載の装置。
- アプリケーターがピストンを含み、圧パルスの押し状態が、ピストンへのガスの導入によって生成され、圧パルスの引き状態が、ピストンからガスを除去することによって生成される、請求項1記載の装置。
