Description
The present invention relates to a deodorizing material that is most suitable for removing fats and oils and odorous components contained in combustion gas, and a range hood fan including the deodorizing material.
In recent years, electric cooking stoves and electromagnetic cookers that do not generate toxic gases such as combustion gas have been demanded instead of gas combustion appliances for cooking appliances provided in kitchens.
A range hood fan is installed above the heating appliance to suck in the generated smoke and odors and discharge them outdoors. However, if indoor air that has been air-conditioned is exhausted, air-conditioning energy loss occurs, saving energy. There was also a problem from the viewpoint.
Further, in recent years, with the progress of airtightness in houses, if a large amount of room air is discharged outdoors, a pressure difference is generated in the room, which makes it difficult to open and close the door.
So, by capturing oil smoke and odor generated from cooking utensils that do not generate combustion gas, grease filters (woven fabric such as glass wool and nonwoven fabric filters, synthetic resin filters made of polyester, lath net, slot filter, punching metal, etc. It is equipped with a continuous porous foam with an inorganic ion adsorption type deodorizing element attached to the downstream as a deodorizing material, and the air to be deodorized indoors. A circulating range hood fan has been proposed (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
Therefore, the foam is clogged in a short period of time, so that the adsorption performance cannot be maintained, the deodorization performance cannot be continued for a long time, and cleaning must be repeated frequently.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described conventional circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a deodorizing material for a range hood fan capable of maintaining the deodorizing performance over a long period of time and a range hood fan including the deodorizing material. It is in.
The inventors of the present invention have conducted extensive research on removing fats and oils and odorous components with a range hood fan, hydrolyzing the fats and oils and odorous components adsorbed on the surface of the hydrous magnesium silicate by their own catalytic action. As a result, the present inventors have found that deodorization is performed and have arrived at the present invention.
That is, the present invention comprises 20 to 90 parts by weight of attapulgite, 20 to 90 parts by weight of sepiolite, 20 to 90 parts by weight of silica as an aggregate, and 40 parts by weight or less of methylcellulose as a binder. A deodorizing material for a range hood fan, comprising a honeycomb structure having 200 to 300 air holes per 6.45 cm (1 inch 2 ), the main component being hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral produced by firing. (Claim 1). And this deodorizing material for range hood fans is arrange | positioned in the air flow path of the range hood fan which inhales and exhausts the ascending airflow which generate | occur | produces from the cooking appliance which does not generate | occur | produce combustion gas (Claim 2). By arranging in this way, the water-containing magnesium silicate clay mineral adsorbs the moisture, fats and oils and odor components contained in the rising air current in contact with the rising air current, and the hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral itself catalyzes its fat and oil. The odor component can be oxidized and hydrolyzed. In other words, the ascending airflow generated by cooking contains a lot of moisture, fats and oils, odor components, etc., but when it comes into contact with a deodorizing material mainly composed of hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral, The water, fats and oils, and odorous components are adsorbed in the formed micropores, and the adsorbed fats and oils and odorous components are hydrolyzed with the hydrous magnesium silicate to deodorize them.
The deodorizing material mainly composed of this hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral is a deodorizing tool constructed by stacking the small pieces so that the updraft can be ventilated. It can be proposed as an example of the use of such arrangement.
In addition, if the honeycomb porous hole has a continuous porous structure, it is possible to ensure a large deodorizing surface area without increasing the aeration pressure loss, so that the adsorption performance of the oil and fat is improved and the contact area of the oil and fat is increased. Hydrolysis can be promoted.
However, in the case of the continuous porous structure of the honeycomb vent holes, if they are arranged close to each other in a multi-stage shape, the flow rate becomes regular and the contact rate with the deodorizing material surface decreases. Therefore, it is preferable to arrange in a multistage manner with a required interval.
And by arranging the grease filter on the upstream side of the deodorizing material for the range hood fan,
Higher deodorizing performance can be exhibited (Claim 3 ).
This grease filter has a woven fabric such as glass wool, a nonwoven fabric filter, a synthetic resin filter made of polyester, a lath net, a slot, etc., which is disposed on the most upstream side where the ascending air current strikes upon receiving the suction action of the exhaust device Examples of such a filter include a metal filter such as a filter and punching metal.
The amount of generated updraft varies depending on the amount of oil used by the user. Therefore, when Chinese dishes and fried foods that use a lot of oil are frequently used, it is expected that the amount of oil and fat adsorbed will exceed the hydrolysis performance of the deodorizing material mainly composed of hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral. In addition, if dust from indoors or clothing adheres, the cleaning and replacement cycle may be shortened.
In consideration of this, the grease filter is arranged upstream of the deodorizing material so as to capture oil and fat and dust, and its deodorizing composition mainly composed of hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral. It is also effective to use the material for a longer period of time.
In the case where it is arranged downstream of the grease filter, when the continuous pores are in the honeycomb vent holes, those having 200 to 300 pores per 6.45 cm 2 ( 1 inch 2 ) are appropriate. Those having finer honeycomb ventilation holes have a higher ventilation resistance and a higher possibility of clogging with oils and fats. Therefore, a fan with high output must be used as the capacity of the blower used.
Further, in order to improve the deodorizing performance, when an activated carbon filter is disposed downstream of the deodorizing material for the range hood fan mainly composed of the hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral, the deodorizing material and the grease mainly composed of the hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral. It is effective in adsorbing odorous components that cannot be completely adsorbed by a filter to make deodorization more complete (Claim 4 ).
And, by making the activated carbon filter into a continuous porous structure, the adsorption efficiency is improved by increasing the contact area in the same manner as the continuous deodorizing material for the range hood fan mainly composed of hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral, The filter replacement frequency can be reduced (claim 5 ).
As for the arrangement of the deodorizing material for the range hood fan and the activated carbon filter having a honeycomb structure mainly composed of hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral, when the activated carbon filter has a honeycomb structure, if the activated carbon filter is in proximity, a turbulent flow state is brought about. Therefore, it is difficult to obtain high adsorption efficiency. For this reason, it is desirable to arrange a required interval between each stage to generate air turbulence between them.
Further, instead of the above-mentioned grease filter, a continuous porous structure deodorizing material mainly composed of hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral or a deodorizing material strip mainly composed of hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral can be made to vent the updraft. Thus, deodorizing tools configured to be stacked may be used (
In this case, it is appropriate that the deodorizing material having a continuous porous structure has continuous pores in random directions having about 20 to 80 holes per 6.45 cm 2 ( 1 inch 2 ) .
In addition, in the case of deodorizing tools in which strips of deodorizing material mainly composed of hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral are stacked so that updraft can be ventilated, the continuous pores in random direction are naturally created by the weight of the strips. It is formed.
Furthermore, the range hood fan deodorizing material, the activated carbon filter are those preferably to be replaceably housed in a single or multiple support frame while being divided into a plurality (claim 8).
Although the said deodorizing material for range hood fans and the said activated carbon filter are good also as a single big filter, when storing a reserve, it is bulky. Therefore, what was divided | segmented into plurality is used. The continuous porous filter size is suitably about 100 to 200 cm 2 .
Since the deodorizing material for the range hood fan has a honeycomb structure and the activated carbon filter has a continuous porous structure, the weight is relatively heavy. Therefore, it is preferable that the replacement work is simplified by being housed in a plurality of support frames.
And it will become suitable if a dust removal filter is arrange | positioned in the most downstream of an air flow path (Claim 9 ).
The deodorizing material mainly composed of hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral and the activated carbon filter generate a small amount of dust. When an updraft is passed through the deodorizing material or activated carbon filter, the dust rises and is mixed with the purified air from the indoor exhaust port and discharged. In order to prevent this dust from flowing out into the room or the like, a dust removing filter is provided to allow a cleaner intake air to be exhausted into the room.
In addition, it is preferable that a photocatalyst powder is mixed in a deodorizing material for a range hood fan and the deodorizing material is irradiated with ultraviolet rays from a light source (claim 10 ).
The photocatalyst powder has a property of decomposing oil and fat adhering thereto by irradiation with ultraviolet rays.
Therefore, the photocatalyst powder accelerates the decomposition of fats and oils and can also decompose indoor formaldehydes.
For example, when a honeycomb-like deodorizing material is used, it is desirable to mix the photocatalyst powder in a material kneading step such as clay mineral. Then, ultraviolet rays are irradiated by a light source. As for the irradiation, it is better to avoid irradiation from one direction and to irradiate light to every corner of the vent hole using a reflecting plate or the like.
Then, a circulation path for air flow path performs circulation exhaust into the room, and an exhaust passage for exhausting outdoors, it is preferable to have a switchable flow path of each (claim 11) .
When cooking using a strong odorous material such as garlic in Chinese or Italian cuisine, there is a possibility that sufficient deodorization cannot be performed. In order to solve such problems, the air flow path can be switched between an indoor circulation path and an outdoor exhaust path so that it can be exhausted outdoors without deodorizing when cooking with a strong smell. ing.
The flow channel can be switched arbitrarily by the user, and an odor detection means is provided so that the flow channel is automatically switched when an odor of a predetermined level or higher is detected.
Further, it is preferable to include a fire detection means provided in the air flow path, and a flow path closing damper provided in the air flow path for closing the air flow path by detection of the fire detection means. (Claim 12 ). The fire detection means is means for detecting a fusing reaction such as a temperature sensor or a thermal fuse.
Then, by opening the front portion of the hood main body, it is convenient to allow exchanging at least the range hood fan deodorant (claim 13).
Since the present invention is configured as described above, it has the following advantages.
(Claim 1) The present invention has been found that the hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral adsorbs moisture, fats and oils, and odorous components in contact with it, and hydrolyzes the oily and fats and odorous components by its own catalytic action. It is based on. As is apparent from the experiments in the examples, linoleic acid, which is one of the main components of salad oil, can be decomposed to 20% or less by weight of the hydrophobic zeolite in 7 days, whereas the hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral of the present invention. As it is proved that about 95% or more of the deodorizing material with the main component is decomposed, the deodorizing material hydrolyzes the fat and odor components adsorbed by contact by its own catalytic action, so cleaning and replacement Thus, it is possible to provide a novel deodorizing material for a range hood that can be used for a long period of time without performing the above process. In addition, when the deodorizing material for the range hood fan has a honeycomb structure, a very large adsorption hydrolysis area of the filter can be secured without increasing the aeration pressure loss, and the decomposition performance of odors and fats and oils can be enhanced.
(Claim 3 ) Further, when a grease filter is disposed upstream of the deodorizing material for the range hood fan, the grease filter generates a large amount of oil and fat when dust, Chinese food or fried food adhered to a room or clothing. Since it is suitable for catching the minutes, it is easier to maintain and manage by removing and replacing the deodorizing material for the range hood fan and cleaning.
(Claims 4 and 5 ) Moreover, since the downstream activated carbon filter improves the deodorizing performance, the deodorizing rate of the hydrophobic zeolite known as a high-performance deodorizing material is high, as is apparent from the experiments in the examples. On the other hand, even if the deodorizing performance of the deodorizing material for the range hood fan is somewhat inferior, it is possible to obtain a higher deodorizing performance than that of the hydrophobic zeolite by disposing an activated carbon filter downstream. .
( 8 ) Since the deodorizing material for the range hood fan is a honeycomb structure and the activated carbon is a continuous porous structure, even if it is relatively heavy, the cleaning operation and the replacement operation are simple.
(Claim 9 ) In addition, the dust generated by the deodorizing material for the range hood fan and the activated carbon is removed by the dust removing filter and is not discharged into the room, so that the room is not polluted.
(Claim 10 ) When the photocatalyst powder is mixed in the deodorizing material for the range hood fan and the deodorizing material is irradiated with ultraviolet rays from a light source, the oil and fat content is promoted by the action of promoting the decomposition of the oil and fat in the photocatalyst powder. Removal efficiency can be improved.
(Claim 11 ) Further, when it is determined that cooking is performed with a strong odor and is not deodorized, the deodorizing material for the range hood fan is exhausted outside without passing through the activated carbon filter, and the range hood fan The deodorizing material can be protected from the situation.
(Claim 12 ) The oil and fat adsorbed on the deodorizing material for the range hood fan is prevented from being ignited to prevent a fire.
(Claim 13 ) Periodic cleaning and replacement of the deodorizing material for the range hood fan can be easily performed.
Next, embodiments of the deodorizing material for the range hood fan of the present invention and the range hood fan having the deodorizing material will be described.

The eddy current generator 5 is a face plate referred to as a rectifying plate (which will be described below with reference numerals), and is disposed on the upper portion of the

Further, the deodorizing material mainly composed of the hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral is mixed with photocatalyst powder such as titanium oxide, manganese oxide, tungsten oxide, zinc oxide, copper oxide in the kneading step, and the deodorizing unit is mixed. Table 1 shows the composition of salad oil most frequently used in cooking.
Table 2 shows an experiment in which a deodorizing material (honeycomb structure) composed mainly of hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral decomposes the main components (paltimic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid) contained in salad oil. Table 3 shows experimental data in which hydrophobic zeolite used as a deodorizing adsorbent decomposes the main components (paltimic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid) contained in the salad oil. Each is shown.
Salad oil is mainly composed of glycerin and fatty acid, and the decomposition rate of palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, and linolenic acid, which are the main components of the fatty acid, was measured. Oleic acid and linoleic acid account for about 70% of the total fatty acids contained in salad oil.
According to this, deodorizing material (200-300 per inch 2), which is mainly composed of hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral, whereas hydrophobic zeolite only has a linoleic acid decomposition rate of 20% or less in 7 days. The honeycomb structure having the air vents) was decomposed by about 95% or more by weight.
Hydrolysis is proved by generating a decomposition product on the surface of the
As for odors, the deodorizing performance was measured by the “three-point comparative odor bag method” based on the malodor control method. This method consists of two odor bags filled with odorless air and odor generated when cooking the ingredients equivalent to five servings of pork vegetables using salad oil, and the main ingredients are hydrophobic zeolite and hydrous magnesium silicate. The 6 odorants (female) sniff a total of 3 bags of dilute odor bags that were obtained by aeration and deodorizing with deodorizing material and diluted so that the captured odor would be a predetermined concentration. The presence or absence of was determined.
Regarding the presence or absence of odor due to olfaction, the odor that passed through the hydrophobic zeolite was slightly weaker than that of the deodorizing material mainly composed of hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral.
Further, deodorization efficiency was also calculated. This is calculated from the difference in odor concentration before and after aeration of the deodorizing material mainly composed of hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral and the hydrophobic zeolite.
Table 4 shows deodorizing performance (deodorizing efficiency), and hydrophobic zeolite known as a high-performance deodorizing material has a deodorization rate of 96%, whereas continuous pores mainly composed of hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral. The deodorizing rate of the deodorizing material ( 200 to 300 honeycomb vents per 6.45 cm 2 ( 1 inch 2 )) was somewhat low at 75%, but the activated carbon filter of the downstream continuous pores (honeycomb structure) With regard to deodorization performance, a performance exceeding the deodorization efficiency of hydrophobic zeolite with a deodorization efficiency of 98% was obtained.
In addition, although each said experiment was performed about the hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral which mixed attapulgite and sepiolite, it is not limited to this, If it is a hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral, the fats and oils approximated to the said implementation result It had fractionation performance and odor deodorization performance.
The range hood fan A using the deodorizing material (honeycomb structure) 11 and the activated carbon filter (honeycomb structure) 31 mainly composed of the hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral, which is proved by the above results, has the moisture generated by cooking. Then, the rising air C containing the oil and fat components and the odorous component is sucked in by the intake performance of the exhaust device B, and the fat and oil components are adsorbed and removed by the known

Since other configurations are the same as those of the first embodiment described above, the same reference numerals are given and description thereof is omitted.

Since other configurations are the same as those of the second embodiment described above, the same reference numerals are given and detailed descriptions thereof are omitted.

Since other configurations are the same as those of the second and third embodiments described above, the same reference numerals are given and detailed descriptions thereof are omitted.
Although this embodiment is not shown in the drawings, the
As shown in the above embodiments, the hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral adsorbs fats and oils and odor components together with moisture by its contact, and hydrolyzes the fats and oils and odor components without clogging by their own catalytic action. Since this is what we know, we can reduce the frequency of regular cleaning and replacement. Therefore, the
