Claims (7)
- パッチ・アンテナであって、
導電性パッチと、
誘電体によって前記導電性パッチから分離された接地面と、
高さを有する複数の離間した導電性ピンと、
前記導電性パッチと前記接地面との間の前記誘電体が空気であり、
前記複数の離間した導電性ピンが前記導電性パッチと前記接地面との間に置かれ、
前記複数の離間した導電性ピンの第1の部分は、前記導電性パッチ上に配置され、前記導電性パッチから突き出ており、
前記複数の離間した導電性ピンの第2の部分は、前記接地面上に配置され、前記接地面から突き出ており、
前記第1の部分の各ピンは、前記第2の部分の各ピンから分離されており、
前記複数の離間した導電性ピンの各ピンの高さが、前記導電性パッチと前記接地面間の間隔より小さいことを特徴とする、パッチ・アンテナ。
- 前記複数の離間した導電性ピン内の各ピンの高さが、前記アンテナによって送信または受信される無線周波数信号の波長よりも短く、
前記複数の離間した導電性ピン内の各ピンとの間の間隔が前記波長より短い請求項1に記載のパッチ・アンテナ。
- 前記複数の離間した導電性ピン内の各ピンの高さが前記波長の1/4未満である請求項2に記載のパッチ・アンテナ。
- 前記高さが前記波長の約1/20である請求項3に記載のパッチ・アンテナ。
- 前記間隔が前記波長の1/2より短い請求項2に記載のパッチ・アンテナ。
- 前記誘電体の実効誘電率が、前記複数の離間した導電性ピンの高さおよび前記複数の離間した導電性ピン内の各ピン間の間隔の関数である請求項2に記載のパッチ・アンテナ。
