Claims (8)
- 超音波トランスデューサ素子(22)と集積回路とを有する装置であって、
前記集積回路は、
高電圧駆動(VH)の送受信切換え素子(M3 ,M4)を有し、高電圧送信パルス信号により前記超音波トランスデューサ素子(22)を駆動する高電圧パルス発生回路(M3 ,M4)と、
前記超音波トランスデューサ素子(22)からの受信信号を受けて増幅する増幅器(16)と、
前記トランスデューサ素子の送信モードに対応する第1スイッチ状態と受信モードに対応する第2のスイッチ状態とを有し、前記高電圧パルス発生回路(M3 ,M4)と前記増幅器(16)と間に電気的に結合され、前記高電圧パルス発生回路(M3 ,M4)よりも低電圧(VB)で動作する低電圧送受信切換えスイッチ(14)であって、前記第1のスイッチ状態で付勢され、前記第2のスイッチ状態で消勢される低電圧駆動の低電圧切換素子(M5,M6)を有する低電圧送受信切換えスイッチ(14)、
とを有しており、
前記増幅器(16)は、送信モードのときは、前記低電圧送受信切換えスイッチ(14)が前記第1のスイッチ状態にあって付勢されていることにより、前記高電圧送信パルス信号から保護され、受信モードのときは、前記低電圧送受信切換えスイッチ(14)が前記第2のスイッチ状態にあって消勢されることにより、前記超音波トランスデューサの出力信号を増幅するように動作することを特徴とする装置。 - 前記装置は更に第1及び第2の接合点を含んでおり、前記高電圧パルス発生回路(M3 ,M4)の出力が前記第1の接合点を介して前記超音波トランスデューサ素子(22)に電気的に結合されており、また前記増幅器(16)の入力が前記第1及び第2の接合点を介して前記超音波トランスデューサ素子(22)に電気的に結合されており、
また前記低電圧送受信切換えスイッチ(14)は、前記第1及び第2の接合点の間に電圧降下を与えるように配置された抵抗(24)と、を有し、
前記低電圧送受信切換えスイッチ(14)の前記低電圧切換素子(M5,M6)は、前記第2の接合点と前記増幅器(16)を損傷しないようなバイアス電圧(VB)との間に並列に接続された第1及び第2のトランジスタ(M5 ,M6 )とを含んでいる、請求項1記載の装置。 - 前記第1及び第2のトランジスタ(M5 ,M6 )のソースが第3の接合点に接続されており、前記第3の接合点はほぼ前記バイアス電圧(VB)にあり、前記第1及び第2のトランジスタ(M5 ,M6 )のドレインが第4の接合点に接続されており、前記第4の接合点は前記第2の接合点を介して前記抵抗(24)に電気的に結合されている、請求項2記載の装置。
- 前記第1のトランジスタ(M5)はNMOSトランジスタであり、前記第2のトランジスタ(M6 )はPMOSトランジスタである、請求項3記載の装置。
- 前記抵抗(24)の値は、前記高電圧パルス発生回路(M3 ,M4)によって出力された電圧を、前記増幅器(16)を損傷しないようなレベルへ低減させるのに充分な大きさである、請求項2記載の装置。
- 前記装置は更に低電圧パルス発生回路(M1 ,M2 )を含んでおり、該低電圧パルス発生回路の出力は、前記増幅器の前記入力が前記第2の接合点に電気的に結合される電流経路に沿っている位置にある第3の接合点を介して、前記増幅器の前記入力に電気的に結合されている、請求項2記載の装置。
- 前記高電圧パルス発生回路は第1及び第2のトランジスタを有しており、これらのトランジスタのそれぞれのドレインが前記高電圧パルス発生回路の前記出力において相互に接続されている、請求項1記載の装置。
- 更に、受信の際に前記高電圧パルス発生回路を分離するために前記高電圧パルス発生回路と前記第1の接合点との間にスイッチ(M9 ,M10)を含んでいる請求項2記載の装置。
