Claims (7)
- X線を発生して該X線を焦点整列経路に沿ってターゲットに向かって差し向けるX線管(20)であって、
真空外被(10)と、
電子を発生するために前記真空外被(10)内に動作可能なように位置決めされた陰極(11)と、
電子が衝突したときにX線を発生するために前記陰極に対して動作可能なように前記真空外被(10)内に位置決めされた陽極組立体(13,12,16)と、
前記陰極に対して前記陽極組立体を回転させるように支持することができる軸受組立体(15a,15b)とを有し、
前記軸受組立体が、回転自在に配置された複数の玉軸受(19)と、該複数の玉軸受(19)と真空領域(22)との間に配置された少なくとも1つの液体金属ガスケット(30)とを含み、
前記少なくとも1つの液体金属ガスケット(30)が、液体金属が充填された内部プラグ(31)と、前記複数の玉軸受(19)と前記内部プラグ(31)との間に配置された第1のシール(32)と、前記内部プラグ(31)と前記真空領域(22)との間に配置された第2のシール(33)とを含んでいること、を特徴とするX線管(20)。 - 前記内部プラグ(31)は、水銀、ガリウム、水銀合金及びガリウム合金のうちの少なくとも1つで構成された液体金属が充填されている、請求項1記載のX線管。
- 前記第1のシール(32)は前記軸受組立体を前記真空領域(22)から隔離している、請求項1又は2記載のX線管。
- 前記第1のシール(32)は接触シールで構成されており、前記第2のシール(33)は非接触シールで構成されており、
該非接触シールは、前記内部プラグ(23)に含有されている流体を保持するのに充分に粘性力が強くなるまで前記X線管の回転部品と非回転部品との間のギャップを小さくすることによって、前記液体金属が前記内部プラグ(23)から漏出するのを防止する、請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載のX線管。 - 前記陽極組立体(13,12,16)が、固定子(16)と、回転子(13)と、該回転子に固定された回転シャフト(12)と、該回転シャフト(12)に固定された陽極ターゲット(14)とを備えており、
前記軸受組立体(15a,15b)は、前記固定子(16)に形成された空洞(21)内で前記回転シャフト(12)を支持し、
前記第2のシール(33)は、前記空洞(21)内の粒子及び蒸気(26)が前記真空領域(22)の中へ移動するのを防止する、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載のX線管。 - 前記複数の玉軸受(19)と前記第1のシール(32)の間に、前記液体金属の粒子及び蒸気(26)が生成される空洞(21)が形成される、請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載のX線管。
- X線を発生して該X線を焦点整列経路に沿って方向付けする請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載のX線管を備えるX線撮像システム。
