Description
本願の第2の発明は、上記した第1の発明において、前記誤差判断手段が、前記車両の横転及び前記車両への衝撃が生じていると判断した場合に、前記誤差判定閾値の許容範囲を広げることを特徴とする。
本願の第3の発明は、上記した第1の発明又は第2の発明において、前記誤差判断手段により前記別のセンサにゼロ点ドリフトが生じていると判断された場合に、前記別のセンサによって検出信号のゼロ点から変動した変化量をゼロ点ドリフト値として算出し、前記別のセンサの検出信号から前記ゼロ点ドリフト値を減算して前記別のセンサの検出信号を補正するドリフト補正手段を備えたことを特徴とする。

Claims (3)
- 車両の横転時における横転角速度を検出する横転角速度センサと、該横転角速度検出センサにより検出された横転角速度及びこの横転角速度から求められた横転角度に基づいて前記車両の横転判断を行う横転判断手段と、該横転判断手段の判断結果に応じて作動して乗員を保護する乗員保護具とを備えた乗員保護装置であって、
前記車両の上下方向の加速度を検出する縦Gセンサと、前記車両の左右方向の加速度を検出する横Gセンサとを有すると共に、
前記縦Gセンサ、横Gセンサ並びに前記横転角速度センサのうちの二つのセンサの検出信号に基づき前記車両の横転及び前記車両への衝撃が生じていないかを判断し、前記車両の横転及び前記車両への衝撃が生じていないと判断した場合に、前記縦Gセンサ、横Gセンサ並びに横転角速度センサのうちの二つのセンサ以外の別のセンサの検出信号と誤差判定閾値とを比較し、前記別のセンサの検出信号が前記誤差判定閾値よりも大きい場合に前記別のセンサにゼロ点ドリフトが生じていると判断する誤差判断手段を備えたことを特徴とする乗員保護装置。 - 請求項1に記載の乗員保護装置であって、
前記誤差判断手段が、前記車両の横転及び前記車両への衝撃が生じていると判断した場合に、前記誤差判定閾値の許容範囲を広げることを特徴とする乗員保護装置。 - 請求項1又は請求項2に記載の乗員保護装置であって、
前記誤差判断手段により前記別のセンサにゼロ点ドリフトが生じていると判断された場合に、前記別のセンサによって検出信号のゼロ点から変動した変化量をゼロ点ドリフト値として算出し、前記別のセンサの検出信号から前記ゼロ点ドリフト値を減算して前記別のセンサの検出信号を補正するドリフト補正手段を備えたことを特徴とする乗員保護装置。
