Claims (6)
- 少なくとも1つのボス(38)を有するタービンエンジンケーシング(34)を製作する方法であって、
外壁(48)を有するエンジンケーシング(40)を形成する段階と、
前記ケーシング外壁を貫通してテーパ開口部(46)を機械加工する段階と、
前記ケーシング外壁内のテーパ開口部と嵌まり合うような寸法になったテーパ部分(44)を金属プラグ(42)内に機械加工する段階と、
前記金属プラグを前記ケーシング外壁内のテーパ開口部の中に挿入する段階と、
前記金属プラグを前記ケーシングに溶接する段階と、
を含み、
前記金属プラグ(72)が、前記テーパ部分(74)に隣接する第1の部分(80)及び第2の部分(82)を含み、
前記金属プラグを挿入する段階が、前記第1の部分(80)が前記ケーシング外壁の外面(58)を越えて延びるように且つ前記第2の部分(82)が前記ケーシング外壁の内面(60)を越えて延びるように、前記金属プラグを前記ケーシング外壁(48)内のテーパ開口部(46)の中に挿入する段階を含む
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記金属プラグ(42)を機械加工して前記ケーシング外壁(48)上にボス(38)を形成する段階をさらに含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記金属プラグ(42)が、前記ボス(38)の所定形状を映した輪郭形状を含み、前記金属プラグを機械加工する段階が、前記輪郭形状の金属プラグを前記ボスの所定形状に機械加工する段階を含む、請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記金属プラグ(42)を前記ケーシングに溶接する段階が、前記金属プラグのテーパ部分(44)を前記ケーシング外壁(48)に慣性溶接する段階を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- テーパ開口部(46)を有する外壁(48)と、
前記テーパ開口部内に少なくともその一部が設置されるテーパ部分(44)を有する金属プラグ(42)と、を含み、
前記金属プラグのテーパ部分が、前記外壁内のテーパ開口部の側壁(52)と嵌まり合っており、
前記金属プラグ(72)が、前記テーパ部分(74)に隣接する第1の部分(80)及び第2の部分(82)を含み、前記第1の部分(80)が前記外壁(48)の外面(58)を越えて延びた状態で且つ前記第2の部分(82)が前記外壁(48)の内面(60)を越えて延びた状態で、前記金属プラグが前記テーパ開口部(46)内に設置されている
ことを特徴とする、タービンエンジンケーシング(34)。 - 前記金属プラグ(42)が、前記外壁(48)に溶接されて単体構造を形成している、請求項5記載のタービンエンジンケーシング(34)。
