Description
a)アルミニウム基材の表面を陽極酸化して、多孔性表面を形成する工程と、
b)硬化性パーフルオロエラストマーを該多孔性表面に圧縮成形および加硫して、該アルミニウム基板に結合された架橋したパーフルオロエラストマー物品を形成する工程と
を含む。
接着力、すなわち、アルミニウム基材から硬化したパーフルオロエラストマーを引っ張るのに必要な力を、ASTM D429、方法Bに準拠して測定した。
使用したパーフルオロエラストマーは、米国特許公報(特許文献11)に記載された一般的方法に従って調製された68モルパーセント単位のTFE、31モルパーセント単位のPMVEおよび1モルパーセント単位のパーフルオロ(8−シアノ−5−メチル−3,6−ジオキサ−1−オクテン)を含有するコポリマーであった。パーフルオロエラストマーをウレアおよびカーボンブラックと化合することにより硬化性組成物を作成した。
(1) a)アルミニウム基材の表面を陽極酸化して、多孔性表面を形成する工程と、
b)硬化性パーフルオロエラストマーを前記多孔性表面に圧縮成形および加硫して、前記アルミニウム基板に結合された架橋したパーフルオロエラストマー物品を形成する工程と
を含むことを特徴とする、アルミニウム基材表面に硬化性パーフルオロエラストマー組成物を結合する方法。
(2) 前記陽極酸化がASTM D3933−98に準拠したリン酸によるものであることを特徴とする(1)に記載の方法。
(3) 前記圧縮成形が4〜8分間、180℃〜220℃の温度でなされることを特徴とする(1)に記載の方法。
(4) c)前記アルミニウム基材に結合された前記パーフルオロエラストマー物品を5〜48時間、250℃〜315℃の温度で後硬化する工程をさらに含むことを特徴とする(1)に記載の方法。
(5) 前記パーフルオロエラストマーが、53.0〜79.9モルパーセントのテトラフルオロエチレン、20.0〜46.9モルパーセントのパーフルオロ(メチルビニル)エーテルおよび0.4〜1.5モルパーセントのニトリル含有硬化部位モノマーの共重合単位を含むことを特徴とする(1)に記載の方法。
Claims (2)
- a)アルミニウム基材の表面を陽極酸化して、多孔性表面を形成する工程と、
b)パーフルオロ化モノマーの共重合単位を含む硬化性エラストマーを前記多孔性表面に圧縮成形および加硫して、前記アルミニウム基板に結合された架橋したエラストマー物品を形成する工程と
を含み、
前記硬化性エラストマーが、パーフルオロオレフィン、パーフルオロ化ビニルエーテル、およびニトリル含有硬化部位モノマーの共重合単位を含む
ことを特徴とする、アルミニウム基材表面にパーフルオロ化モノマーの共重合単位を含む硬化性エラストマー組成物を結合する方法。 - 前記硬化性エラストマーが、53.0〜79.9モルパーセントのテトラフルオロエチレン、20.0〜46.9モルパーセントのパーフルオロ(メチルビニル)エーテルおよび0.4〜1.5モルパーセントのニトリル含有硬化部位モノマーの共重合単位を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
