Claims (1)
- ミリ波の電波を送受信する装置の送受信アンテナが接続される高周波回路と、
前記高周波回路に送信電波を発生させ、前記高周波回路から入力する受信信号を処理する信号処理回路と、
前記高周波回路に含まれる送信系の多数のMMICに共通に供給するドレイン電圧を、当該高周波回路の直近部或いは内部に設けた、当該高周波回路内の周囲温度を検出する周囲温度モニタのモニタ結果に基づき調整するとともに、前記送信系の多数のMMICのそれぞれに供給するゲート電圧を前記送信系の多数のMMICのそれぞれを流れるドレイン電流の総和を検出する電流モニタのモニタ結果を用いて順々に調整する送信バイアス調整系と、
前記高周波回路に含まれる受信系の多数のMMICに共通に供給するドレイン電圧を、前記周囲温度モニタのモニタ結果に基づき調整するとともに、前記受信系の多数のMMICのそれぞれに供給するゲート電圧を前記受信系の多数のMMICのそれぞれを流れるドレイン電流の総和を検出する電流モニタのモニタ結果を用いて順々に調整する受信バイアス調整系、
とを備えるミリ波送受信モジュールにおいて、
運用時に、前記各バイアス調整系が用いる前記電流モニタのモニタ結果を利用して異常発生有無を監視する異常監視系を備え、
前記異常監視系は、各バイアス調整系が備えるA/D変換器の出力値から読み取った当該電流モニタの検出電流値が前記送信系および受信系の多数のMMICを流れるドレイン電流の総和上限値をそれぞれ超えるか否かを監視するドレイン電流監視手段を備え、
前記異常監視系は、異常発生を検知すると、外部や上位の処理系に報知するとともに、前記異常発生が所定時間以上継続している場合は、当該ミリ波送受信モジュールの動作を停止する手段を備えることを特徴とするミリ波送受信モジュール。
