テープ2:0.5mmより大きい寸法を有する粒子は0であり、0.2〜0.5mmの寸法を有する粒子は0であり、及び0.1〜0.2mmの寸法を有する粒子は2であった。
Claims (12)
- 一体化された絶縁体及びジャケットを有する光ファイバ海底リピーターケーブルであって、
該一体化された絶縁体及びジャケットは、マルチモーダルのポリエチレンを含むこと、ここで、該マルチモーダルのポリエチレンが、少なくとも2段階におけるエチレンの重合化により得られたものであり、0.915〜0.955g/cm 3 の密度及び0.2〜3.0g/10分のメルトフローレート(MFR 2 )を有し、該マルチモーダルのポリエチレンは少なくとも第1及び第2のポリエチレン画分を含み、該第1画分は、(a)0.930〜0.975g/cm 3 の密度及び50〜2000g/10分のメルトフローレート(MFR 2 )又は(b)0.88〜0.93g/cm 3 の密度及び0.01〜0.8g/10分のメルトフローレート(MFR 2 )のいずれかを有する、及び
該一体化された絶縁体及びジャケットは、1kgの物質の試料中に0.5mmより大きい寸法を有する粒子を含まないこと
を特徴とする光ファイバ海底リピーターケーブル。 - マルチモーダルのポリエチレンが、40〜250μmのフィルター孔を有するフィルターを通して濾過されたものである、請求項1に記載のケーブル。
- マルチモーダルのポリエチレンがバイモーダルである、請求項1又は2に記載のケーブル。
- 該マルチモーダルのポリエチレンが0.920〜0.950g/cm3の密度及び0.2〜2.0g/10分のMFR2を有し、第1のポリエチレン画分が0.955〜0.975g/cm3の密度及び100〜1000g/10分のMFR2を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のケーブル。
- マルチモーダルのポリエチレンが、少なくとも2の段階における、配位触媒されるエチレンの重合化により得られたものであり、該複数の段階の少なくとも1の段階においては、エチレンと3〜12の炭素原子を有するα−オレフィンコモノマーとの重合化が行われる、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のケーブル。
- コモノマーが1−ブテン、1−ヘキセン、4−メチルー1−ペンテン、及び1−オクテンからなる群から選択される、請求項5に記載のケーブル。
- 重合化段階が、スラリー重合化、気相重合化、又はそれらの組み合わせとして行われる、請求項6に記載のケーブル。
- 少なくとも1のループ反応器に続いて少なくとも1の気相反応器がある、ループ反応器/気相反応器工程において重合化が行われる、請求項7に記載のケーブル。
- マルチモーダルのポリエチレンが、F10>8000時間、Fl>700時間のASTM D 1693A(10%Igepal)に従う環境応力亀裂耐性(ESCR)を有する、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に従うケーブル。
- 光ファイバ海底リピーターケーブルの一体化された絶縁体及びジャケットのための組成物であって、
マルチモーダルのポリエチレンを含むこと、ここで、該マルチモーダルのポリエチレンが、少なくとも2段階におけるエチレンの重合化により得られ、0.915〜0.955g/cm 3 の密度及び0.2〜3.0g/10分のメルトフローレート(MFR 2 )を有し、該マルチモーダルのポリエチレンが少なくとも第1及び第2のポリエチレン画分を含み、該第1画分は、(a)0.930〜0.975g/cm 3 の密度及び50〜2000g/10分のメルトフローレート(MFR 2 )又は(b)0.88〜0.93g/cm 3 の密度及び0.01〜0.8g/10分のメルトフローレート(MFR 2 )のいずれかを有する、及び
