本発明によれば、ジ−2−エチルヘキサン酸アルミニウムを主成分として含むオクチル酸アルミニウムと、揮発性炭化水素化合物及び/又は香料と、二塩基酸類、そのアルミニウム塩、多塩基酸類及びそのアルミニウム塩からなる群より選択される1種又は2種以上のゲル強度向上剤(但し、ダイマー酸を除く)とを含有することを特徴とする透明ゲル状芳香剤組成物が提供される。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明を詳細に説明する。
本発明の透明ゲル状芳香剤組成物は、ジ−2−エチルヘキサン酸アルミニウムを主成分として含むオクチル酸アルミニウムと、揮発性炭化水素化合物及び/又は香料と、特定のゲル強度向上剤とを含有する。

本発明において用いる前記オクチル酸アルミニウムは、ジ−2−エチルへキサン酸アルミニウムを主成分とし、ゲル化剤等として作用するものであれば特に限定されない。通常、少量のトリ−2−エチルヘキサン酸アルミニウムを含むオクチル酸アルミニウムを好適に用いることができる。ここで、主成分とは、通常50質量%以上を意味する。
前記オクチル酸アルミニウムの含有割合は、組成物全量に対して1〜15質量%が好ましい。この含有割合が1質量%未満では、得られる組成物のゲル強度が不十分となる恐れがあり、15質量%を超えると、ゲル状芳香剤が揮散した後の残量が多くなるので好ましくない。

本発明に用いることができる前記揮発性炭化水素化合物としては、テルペン系炭化水素、イソパラフィン系炭化水索、ノルマルパラフィン系炭化水素又はこれらの混合物等が挙げられる。
前記テルペン系炭化水素としては、例えば、α−ピネン、β−ピネン、d−リモネン、L−リモネン、ジペンテン、p−メンタン、ピナン又はこれらの混合物等が挙げられる。
前記ノルマルパラフィン系炭化水素又はイソパラフィン系炭化水素としては、C818〜C1838、好ましくはC1022〜C1634のものが挙げられる。
本発明に用いる前記香料としては、特に限定されず、どのような香りを賦香するものであっても使用できる。
前記揮発性炭化水素化合物及び/又は香料の含有割合は、特に限定されないが、組成物全量に対して、通常、0.1〜99質量%程度である。

本発明に用いる前記特定のゲル強度向上剤は、二塩基酸類、そのアルミニウム塩、多塩基酸類及びそのアルミニウム塩からなる群より選択される1種又は2種以上を必須成分とする。必要に応じて他のゲル強度向上作用を示す化合物を含んでいても良い。
前記特定のゲル強度向上剤としては、例えば、アジピン酸、ピメリン酸、スべリン酸、アゼライン酸、セバシン酸、ウンデカン二酸、ドデカン二酸、ブラシル酸、カルボキシオクタデカン酸及びこれらのアルミニウム塩、またはこれらの混合物等が挙げられる。
前記特定のゲル強度向上剤の含有割合は、組成物全量に対して0.001〜5.0質量%が望ましい。0.001質量%未満では所望の効果を得ることができず、5.0質量%を超えるとゲル強度向上剤自体が溶解せず、ゲル化しない恐れがあるので好ましくない。

実施例1
ジ−2−エチルヘキサン酸アルミニウムを50質量%以上含有するオクチル酸アルミニウム4.5g、酸化防止剤0.5g、紫外線吸収剤0.5g、d−リモネン11g、揮発性イソパラフィン75.4g、香料(スカッシュの香り)8.0g及びセバシン酸0.1gを混合、撹拌した。続いて、100g容量のガラス瓶に50g充填して放置したところ、透明ゲル状芳香剤組成物が得られた。
