Description
傷が生じることになる。装着を正しく行うことの難しさに加え、装着には多くの時間が必要になる。1つのバッテリに当該システムを装着するには、数分から30分程度まで時間がかかり、バッテリの台数が数百にも及ぶようなときには、実質的に多くの工賃がかかることになる。バッテリの保守サービス機関においては、SPWシステムの販売と装着が行われているが、大きな顧客の装着作業を行う際、顧客からの時間的要求を満たすことができる程、十分な人数の作業者がいないのが実情である。

Claims (6)
- 複数のセルを持つ単一ブロック鉛―酸系バッテリであって、各セルが補充制御バルブを備えたアクセス・ポートを有する当該個々のセルに水を補充するための単一水供給システムの改良において、
(1)マニホールドの各出口ボスをバッテリの補充制御バルブの一つにシールできるように取り付けることにより、マニホールドをバッテリに組み付けることができるように、予め定められた間隔で配置された複数の出口ボスと、
(2)マニホールドのハウジングに設けられ、回り継ぎ手のフィッティングを取り付けることができる少なくとも一つの入口ポートと、
(3)入口ポートと各出口ボスの間を流体的に連通させるための、長手方向に延伸した通路と、
を有する直線状で剛なマニホールドから成り、
前記回り継ぎ手のフィッティングは、マニホールドの入口ポートにシールできるように挿入することができ、前記入口ポートに挿入された状態で360°回転できる出口ボスを一つ備え、更に単一水供給システムの他のコンポーネントに連通させるための複数のポートを備えることを特徴とする単一水供給システム。 - 請求項1に記載の改良された単一水供給システムにおいて、前記マニホールドの出口ボスは、前記補充制御バルブに押し込むことにより取り付けることができるものであることを特徴とする単一水供給システム。
- 請求項1に記載の改良された単一水供給システムにおいて、前記回り継ぎ手のフィッティングの出口ボスは、前記マニホールドの入口ポートに押し込むことにより取り付けることができるものであることを特徴とする単一水供給システム。
- 請求項1に記載の改良された単一水供給システムにおいて、前記マニホールドの出口ボスと、前記回り継ぎ手のフィッティングの出口ボスは同じサイズで同じ形状を有することを特徴とする単一水供給システム。
- 請求項1に記載の改良された単一水供給システムにおいて、前記マニホールドは、上側ハウジングを貫通しチャンネルに連通した前記入口ポートを備え、マニホールド全長にわたって延伸したチャンネルを有する上側ハウジングと、出口ボスの各々を備えた下側ハウジングとから成ることを特徴とする単一水供給システム。
- 請求項1に記載の改良された単一水供給システムにおいて、単一ブロックの鉛―酸系バッテリのアレイが、複数のバッテリの各々と連通するマニホールドと回り継ぎ手のフィッティングを供えたシステムによって保守され、更に単一水供給システムを相互に接続するために、各隣接するアレイに設置された各回り継ぎ手のフィッティング間に、フレキシブルな導管が接続されることを特徴とする単一水供給システム。
