c)流体における放射されたビームのパターン及び方向が不均一に分布されたロッドから成るバンドルに印加される周波数を変更することにより制御される測定システム。

Claims (10)
- 超音波トランスジューサ(1)と測定対象環境との間で少なくとも部分的に超音波信号を伝搬させる超音波導波路(3)を有する超音波伝搬システムであって、
前記超音波導波路(3)は、
各々が、第1端、第2端、及び定義された長さとを有する複数のロッドであって、前記第1端と第2端の間で信号を分散の無い状態で伝搬するように、前記ロッドの材料の特性値に対して所定の関係にある直径を有する複数のロッド(5、40)と、
前記超音波信号の定義性及び結合性を向上するために、前記複数のロッド(5、40)の実質的に全ての第1端が束ねられて溶融されて形成された連続的な結合面を有するバンドル端(41)と、
前記バンドル端の前記結合面に取り付けられた、前記超音波信号の1/4波長厚さのインピーダンス整合プレート(11)とを備えたことを特徴とする超音波伝搬システム。 - 前記超音波伝搬システムは、前記複数のロッドと同材料で、前記複数のロッドを束ねるスリーブ(6)と、
をさらに具備し、
前記複数のロッド(5)と前記スリーブ(6)と前記バンドル端(11,13)が剛性を有し密閉化された組立体を形成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の超音波伝搬システム。 - 前記超音波導波路(3)の一端で、前記複数のロッドの前記結合面が形成された前記超音波導波路端部と反対側の他端部に結合された少なくとも一つのトランスジューサを含むことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の超音波伝搬システム。
- 前記トランスジューサ(1)が、n×f(ここでn=1、3、...(奇数の整数))により実質上与えられる複数の周波数において動作可能であり、そして前記インピーダンス整合プレートが周波数fの波に対する1/4波長厚さを有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の超音波伝搬システム。
- 前記バンドル端が、該バンドル端においてロッドにおける圧縮エネルギーを撓みエネルギーにモード変換するために、通常の入射において前記複数のロッドに結合される面を含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至4に記載の超音波伝搬システム。
- 前記バンドル端が、沈みぐりされた充填溶接部(45)を含むことを特徴とする請求項2乃至5のいずれかに記載の超音波伝搬システム。
- 前記複数のロッドがシェル内に包納かつ充填されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6に記載の超音波伝搬システム。
- 前記シェルを構造的に支持するためにロッド間にスペーサをさらに含んでいることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の超音波伝搬システム。
- 前記複数のロッドは互いに異なった直径を有し、且つ、規則的なパターンで配列されていることにより、音響エネルギーの送信タイミングを異ならせて遅延させ、且つ、特定の形状の、または偏向された出力ビームを発信することを特徴とする請求項1乃至8に記載の超音波伝搬システム。
- 前記シェルがロッドの直径より大きな厚さを有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の超音波伝搬システム。
