Abstract

Dargestellt und beschrieben ist eine Ultraschallwellensende- bzw. -empfangsvorrichtung, mit einem Ultraschallwandler (1), einem Ultraschallwellenleiter (2) und einem Mantel (3), wobei der Ultraschallwellenleiter (2) innerhalb des Mantels (3) angeordnet ist, der Ultraschallwandler (1) an einem Ende des Ultraschallwellenleiters (2) angeordnet ist und von dem Ultraschallwandler (1) an diesem Ende des Ultraschallwellenleiters (2) Ultraschallwellen auf diesen übertragbar bzw. von diesem empfangbar sind.
Erfindungsgemäß ist zwischen dem Ultraschallwandler (1) und dem dem Ultraschallwandler (1) abgewandten Bereich des Mantels (3) ein Impedanzsprung vorgesehen. Auf diese Weise lassen sich beim Einbau der erfindungsgemäßen Ultraschallwellensende- bzw. -empfangsvorrichtung z. B. in das Meßrohr eines Meßgeräts unerwünschte Kreuzkopplungen stark reduzieren.
