Claims (3)
- 触媒コンバータにおいて排気ガス浄化用触媒担体であるモノリスと金属製のケーシングとの間に介装されるモノリス保持材であって、帯状に形成され且つその長さ方向の両端部に互いに嵌合する嵌合部が設けられた耐熱性のマットを複数枚積層して構成され、各マットは、積層状態でモノリスに巻回した際、それぞれに緩みなく巻回でき且つ嵌合部が嵌合する長さに設定され、しかも、積層状態でモノリスに巻回した際、それぞれの嵌合部がずれた位置となる様に、その長さ方向にずれた状態に積層されていることを特徴とするモノリス保持材。
- 各マットは、少なくとも一端側が遊動自在となる様に相互に固定されている請求項1に記載のモノリス保持材。
- マットがムライト組成の低結晶性アルミナ質繊維マットから成る請求項1又は2に記載のモノリス保持材。
