Description
Claims (8)
- 反応混合物を繰り返し加熱及び冷却するための温度サイクル装置で、
第1加熱器が反応混合物の温度に影響を及ぼす第1定位と第1加熱器が反応混合物の温度に影響を及ぼさない第2定位の間を移動できる前記第1温度区域と、
前記第1温度区域の第1及び第2定位の間を移動する前記第1温度区域のための第1主要駆動体と、
前記第1加熱器に隣接の第2温度区域で、前記第2加熱器が反応混合物の温度に影響を及ぼす第1定位と前記第2加熱器が反応混合物の温度に影響を及ぼさない第2定位の間を移動できる前記第2温度区域と、
前記第2温度区域の第1及び第2定位の間を移動する前記第2温度区域のための第2主要駆動体と、
を備え、
温度サイクルの最中に、第1の加熱器が第1の定位にある時に第2の加熱器が第2定位にあり、第1の加熱器が第2の定位にある時に第2の加熱器が第1の定位にあり、
前記反応混合物を収容するためのフレキシブルな反応容器をさらに備え、
前記第1の温度区域が前記フレキシブルな反応容器の第1部分を受け入れるための第1ギャップを形成し、
前記第2の温度区域が第1ギャップと隣接する第2ギャップを形成し、
前記第2ギャップが前記フレキシブルな反応容器の第2部分を受け入れ、
前記第1の温度区域が閉鎖位置にある時に前記サンプルが前記フレキシブルな反応容器の前記第1部分から押し出され、
前記第2の温度区域が閉鎖位置にある時に前記サンプルが前記フレキシブルな反応容器の前記第2部分から押し出されることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の装置であって、
前記第1温度区域は、第1発熱体および前記第1発熱体から間隙があり前記第1主要駆動体と結合している第2発熱体を含み、
前記第2温度区域は、第1発熱体および前記第1発熱体から間隙があり前記第2主要駆動体と結合している第2発熱体を含むことを特徴とする装置。 - 第1区域と、前記第1区域に隣接しかつ第1区域と連通する第2区域と、を有するフレキシブルな反応容器内に流体サンプルが提供される、前記流体サンプルを熱サイクルするための方法であって、
a. 前記第1区域に前記サンプルを押し込むため及び第1温度にて第1組の加熱器と接触するため前記第2区域を圧搾すること、
b.その次に前記第2区域に前記サンプルを押し込むため及び第2温度にて第2
組の加熱器と接触するため前記第1区域を圧搾すること、
前記第2温度は前記第1温度とは異なっていること、
を備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項3に記載の方法であって、
多数の温度サイクルの間中、ステップa及びbを繰り返すことをさらに備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項4に記載の方法であって、
前記サンプルは核酸を含み、反応容器はPCRを実施するための試薬をその中にさらに含んでいることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項5に記載の方法であって、
前記反応容器は、蛍光要素をその中にさらに含み、
前記蛍光要素は、核酸の量に関係して蛍光シグナルを提供することを可能にすることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項3に記載の方法であって、
前記フレキシブルな反応容器が、反応容器の列を形成するために複数の独立した反応容器を連ねて形成したものであり、
前記方法がさらに、
複数の追加の生物学的サンプルの中で複数の追加核酸を増幅し、
前記工程aが各反応容器に追加の生物学的サンプルを入れることを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の装置であって、前記第1と第2のギャップが複数のフレキシブルな反応容器を受け入れるように設計され、
前記複数のフレキシブルな反応容器の各々が第1部分と第2部分を備え、
前記フレキシブルな反応容器が、列になった反応容器を形成するために複数の独立した反応容器を連ねたものであることを特徴とする装置。
