Description
各列に設けられたソース線と各行に設けられたゲート線の交差部に、前記ソース線にソースが接続され、前記ゲート線にゲートが接続された薄膜トランジスタのドレインと共通電極線の間に液晶素子を備えた画素セルがマトリクス状に配置された画素部と、
同一列の2つの隣接画素セル間に、前記隣接画素セルの各ゲート線にそれぞれゲートが接続され、直列接続された2つのタッチセンス用トランジスタおよび前記2つの隣接画素セル行で共用される機械的スイッチが当該列のソース線と共通電極線の間に接続されたタッチセンススイッチ部とを備えたことを特徴とする。
画素PXnはソース線SLにソースが接続され、ゲートがゲート線GL1に接続された薄膜トランジスタTFT11と、この薄膜トランジスタTFT11のドレインと共通電極CEとの間に設けられた液晶素子Clc1と、薄膜トランジスタTFT11のドレインと補助容量線CSL1との間に設けられた補助容量CS1を備えている。

Claims (6)
- 各列に設けられたソース線と各行に設けられたゲート線の交差部に、前記ソース線にソースが接続され、前記ゲート線にゲートが接続された薄膜トランジスタのドレインと共通電極線の間に液晶素子を備えた画素セルがマトリクス状に配置された画素部と、
同一列の且つ隣接する行の2つの画素セル間に、前記2つの画素セルの各ゲート線にそれぞれゲートが接続され、直列接続された2つのタッチセンス用トランジスタおよび前記2つの画素セルで共用される機械的スイッチが当該列のソース線と共通電極線の間に接続されたタッチセンススイッチ部と、
を備えたタッチセンス機能付きアクティブマトリクスディスプレイ装置。 - 前記各画素セルは、前記薄膜トランジスタのドレインと各行に設けられた補助容量線との間に補助容量を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッチセンス機能付きアクティブマトリクスディスプレイ装置。
- 前記同一列の2つの隣接画素セルは、前記ゲート線に対して対称構造をなすことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッチセンス機能付きアクティブマトリクスディスプレイ装置。
- 前記ソース線には、当該ソース線の電位変化を検出するセンスアンプが接続されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッチセンス機能付きアクティブマトリクスディスプレイ装置。
- 前記同一列の2つの隣接画素セルの各ゲート線はタッチセンス時には同時に活性化されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッチセンス機能付きアクティブマトリクスディスプレイ装置。
- 請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載のタッチセンス機能付きアクティブマトリクスディスプレイ装置を備えた電子装置。
