Description

The present invention relates to a vehicle air conditioner in which a cooling heat exchanger is housed in an air conditioning case.

In a conventional vehicle air conditioner, as shown in FIG. 7, a cooling heat exchanger 20 or the like is accommodated in an air conditioning casing 10, and the cooling heat exchanger 20 cools blown air introduced from a blower unit. The thing comprised so that is proposed is proposed (for example, refer patent document 1).

In this structure, the air conditioning casing 10 is configured by combining an upper case 11 and a lower case 12 with each other. The cooling heat exchanger 20 generates condensed water as the blown air is cooled. This condensed water usually adheres to the surface of the cooling heat exchanger 20, and the condensed water falls on the lower case 12 when strong vibration or the like occurs in the cooling heat exchanger 20.

Here, the bottom surface 14 of the lower case 12 is provided with a water reservoir 12a for storing condensed water and a discharge hole 12b for discharging the condensed water stored in the water reservoir 12a. Patent Document 1 does not describe the detailed configuration of the lower case 12, but generally, the bottom surface 14 of the lower case 12 is inclined so as to become lower as it approaches the water reservoir 12 a. The condensed water which is provided and falls to the lower case 12 from the cooling heat exchanger 20 is easily collected in the water reservoir 12a.
JP 2005-161969 A

In recent years, the cooling performance of the vehicle air conditioner has improved, and the amount of condensed water generated from the cooling heat exchanger 20 has increased. For this reason, the condensed water that has fallen from the cooling heat exchanger 20 to the bottom surface 14 of the lower case 12 gathers in the water reservoir 12a, and the condensed water is temporarily stored in the water reservoir until the condensed water is discharged from the discharge hole 12b. It will accumulate in 12a.

Here, as shown in FIG. 8, when the water reservoir 12 a is provided on the lower right side of the bottom surface 14 of the lower case 12, the condensed water is stored in the water reservoir as shown by the hatched portion in FIG. 8. When the vehicle turns suddenly while it is temporarily accumulated in the portion 12a, the condensed water in the water reservoir 12a is accelerated in the direction opposite to the turning direction and tends to flow out of the water reservoir 12a.

When the vehicle turns suddenly to the left, acceleration is applied to the right direction with respect to the condensed water, and the condensed water is likely to flow to the right as its state changes, as indicated by the symbol W in FIG. However, the condensed water is blocked by the right side wall 15.

However, when the vehicle turns sharply in the right direction, acceleration is applied in the left direction with respect to the condensed water, and the state of the condensed water changes as shown in FIG. Along with this, the condensed water suddenly flows from the water reservoir 12a to the left along the bottom surface 14 of the lower case 12, and this condensed water is a fitting portion 10a between the upper case 11 and the lower case 12 (see FIG. 7). ) May leak.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 11, the wall portions 14a and 14f are arranged in a T shape, and as shown in FIG. 12 (C-C sectional view in FIG. 11), the condensation flows out from the water reservoir 12a. It is conceivable to dam the water, but condensed water (see W in FIG. 11) flowing from the left toward the wall portion 14f collects at the connecting portions of the wall portions 12a and 12f, and the drainage of the condensed water deteriorates. Will do.

In view of the above-mentioned points, the present invention provides a vehicle air conditioner in which the structure of the lower case is devised to prevent condensate from leaking even if the vehicle turns sharply while maintaining drainage of condensed water. The purpose is to provide.

In order to achieve the above object, according to the present invention, a bottom stop (14) of the lower case (12) is provided on the left side with respect to the water reservoir (12a) and is used to dam the condensed water flowing out of the water reservoir. Part (70) and a water channel (80) that causes the condensed water flowing toward the dam part toward the dam part to bypass the dam part and flow into the water part, and an outlet of the water channel (80) is provided. It is arranged on the right side of the water reservoir (12a) .

Therefore, even when the vehicle turns suddenly to the left or right, the dammed portion makes it difficult for the condensed water to flow out of the water reservoir, so the condensed water is less likely to leak from the fitting portion (10a) between the upper case and the lower case. Become.

Further, the condensed water flowing toward the dam portion by the water channel (80) can flow around the dam portion and flow to the water reservoir portion, so that the drainage of the condensed water can be maintained.

Here, the “front / rear direction” is the vehicle traveling direction when the vehicle air conditioner is mounted on the vehicle, and the “left / right direction” is the left / right direction (vehicle width) when the vehicle air conditioner is mounted on the vehicle. The “vertical direction” is a vertical direction when the vehicle air conditioner is mounted on the vehicle.

In addition, the code | symbol in the bracket | parenthesis of each means described in a claim and this column shows the correspondence with the specific means as described in embodiment mentioned later.

FIG. 1 shows a vehicle air conditioner according to an embodiment of the present invention. Since the configuration excluding the lower case in the vehicle air conditioner of the present embodiment is the same as the configuration described in Patent Document 1 shown in FIG. 7, hereinafter, the schematic configuration of the vehicle air conditioner of the present embodiment will be described. This will be described with reference to FIG.

The vehicle air conditioner of this embodiment includes an air conditioning casing 10, a cooling heat exchanger 20, a heating heat exchanger 30, and an air mix door 40. The air conditioning casing 10 is configured by combining the upper case 11 and the lower case 12 with each other, and forms an air passage 10 </ b> A through which the blown air introduced from the blower unit flows upward.

The cooling heat exchanger 20 cools the blown air from the blower unit. The heating heat exchanger 30 heats the blown air (cold air) that has passed through the cooling heat exchanger 20. A bypass passage 31 that bypasses the heating heat exchanger 30 and flows the blown air that has passed through the cooling heat exchanger 20 is provided on the side of the heating heat exchanger 30.

The air mix door 40 is slidably supported, and adjusts the ratio between the amount of air passing through the heating heat exchanger 20 and the amount of air passing through the bypass passage 31 and bypassing the heating heat exchanger 20. The temperature of the air blown into the passenger compartment is adjusted.

On the most downstream side of the air conditioning casing 10, a differential outlet 50a, a face outlet 50b, and a foot outlet 50c are provided. Air outlet mode doors 51a and 51b that open any one of the air outlets 50a to 50c are provided on the upstream side of the air outlets 50a to 50c. Next, the structure of the lower case 12 of the air conditioning casing 10 will be described. .

As shown in FIG. 1, a water reservoir 12 a is provided on the right rear side of the bottom surface 14 of the lower case 12. Further, as shown in FIG. 2, a discharge hole 12b for discharging condensed water is provided in the water reservoir 12a. The bottom surface 14 of the lower case 12 is provided with an inclination so as to become lower as it approaches the water reservoir 12a, so that the condensed water easily collects in the water reservoir 12a.

Further, as shown in FIG. 2, a damming portion 70 is provided on the bottom surface 14 of the lower case 12, and the damming portion 70 is a water reservoir portion as shown in FIGS. 3, 4, and 5. Located on the left side of 12a. 3 is a schematic diagram showing the damming portion 70, FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view along AA in FIG. 3, and FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view along BB in FIG. 72 and the front and rear wall portions 73 are formed in a substantially U-shape. The “substantially U-shape” is not limited to the shape in which the left and right wall portions 71 and 72 have the same horizontal dimension, but the left and right wall portions 71 and 72 have different horizontal dimensions. Including.

The left and right wall portions 71 protrude upward and extend in the left-right direction, and the right side portion of the left and right wall portions 71 enters the water reservoir 12a. As shown in FIG. 3 (or FIG. 5), a water channel 80 is provided between the left and right wall portions 71 and the wall portion 14a. The water channel 80 causes condensed water flowing from the left side (that is, the opposite side of the water reservoir 12a) to the damming unit 70 side of the bottom surface 14 of the lower case 12 to flow into the water reservoir 12a. .

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the left and right wall portions 72 protrude upward and extend in the left-right direction, and the left and right wall portions 72 are a part of the right side of the wall portion 14 g and the left and right wall portions 71. Opposite to. The front / rear wall portion 73 protrudes upward and extends in the front / rear direction, and the front / rear wall portion 73 is offset from the water reservoir 12a to the left side.

Here, the horizontal dimension x of the left and right wall parts 71 and 72 and the vertical dimension y of the front and rear wall part 73 will be described with reference to FIG.

FIG. 6 shows a state in which water (see W in the figure) is put in the container K and acceleration of 1 G (assumed maximum acceleration when the vehicle turns) is applied in the left direction. When 1G is added in the left direction, the water in the container K becomes a state of an isosceles triangle in cross section. For this reason, in order to prevent water from overflowing from the container K, it is necessary to make the dimension x in the left-right direction longer than the dimension y in the vertical direction of the container K. Similarly, in the damming portion 70, the horizontal dimension x of the left and right wall portions 71 and 72 is set longer than the vertical dimension y of the front and rear wall portion 73 in order to dampen the condensed water. is there.

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be described.

First, during the cooling operation of the vehicle air conditioner, the condensed water attached to the cooling heat exchanger 20 falls on the bottom surface 14 of the lower case 12. For example, when the condensed water flows to the front and rear wall 73 side of the damming unit 70, the condensed water flows through the water channel 80 to the discharge hole 12 b side of the water reservoir 12 a as indicated by an arrow Y in FIG. 2. become. That is, when condensed water flows toward the dam portion toward the water reservoir 12a, the condensed water flows around the dam portion 70 and flows into the water reservoir 12a.

Here, when the amount of condensed water flowing into the water reservoir 12a is large, the condensed water is temporarily accumulated in the water reservoir 12a until the condensed water is discharged from the discharge hole 12b.

In this way, when the vehicle suddenly turns to the right while the condensed water is accumulated in the water reservoir 12a, acceleration is applied to the left with respect to the condensed water, and the condensed water tends to flow from the water reservoir 12a to the left. Dammed by the damming portion 70.

Therefore, even if the vehicle turns sharply to the right side, it is difficult for the water to flow from the water reservoir 12a to the left side, so that the condensed water hardly leaks from the fitting portion 10a of the air conditioning casing 10.

In addition, the water channel 80 allows condensed water flowing from the left side of the bottom surface 14 of the lower case 12 toward the damming portion 70 to flow toward the basin portion 12a. Therefore, even if the damming portion 70 is provided, this dam Since the condensate does not accumulate by the stopper 70, the drainage of the condensate can be maintained.

In the present embodiment, as described above, a part of the left and right wall portions 71 enters the water reservoir 12a. For this reason, the outlet 81 of the water channel 80 (that is, the portion where the condensed water flows from the water channel 80 to the discharge hole 12b side of the water reservoir 12a) can be disposed on the right side of the water reservoir 12a.

Here, when acceleration is applied in the left direction with respect to the condensed water, the water level on the right side of the water reservoir 12a is lower than the water level on the left side. For this reason, by arranging the outlet 81 of the water channel 80 on the right side of the water reservoir 12a as described above, when acceleration is applied in the left direction to the condensed water, the water flows backward from the water reservoir 12a to the left through the water channel 80. The amount of condensed water to be reduced can be reduced.

In the prior art, in order to prevent the condensed water that has suddenly flown out of the water reservoir 12a during turning of the vehicle from leaking from the fitting portion 10a between the upper case 11 and the lower case 12, the fitting portion 10a is sealed. According to the present embodiment, since the condensed water from the water reservoir 12a is blocked by the damming portion 70, the condensed water hardly leaks from the fitting portion 10a, and the sealing material is used. There is no need.

Further, in the related art, when the fitting portion 10a is arranged near the flow path of the condensed water flowing out from the water reservoir 12a when the vehicle turns, the condensed water easily leaks from the fitting portion 10a. For this reason, since it is necessary to keep the fitting part 10a away from the flow path of the condensed water, the design freedom of the air conditioning casing 10 is reduced.

On the other hand, according to the present embodiment, as described above, since the condensate hardly leaks from the fitting portion 10a by the damming portion 70, the design freedom of the air conditioning casing 10 is not reduced.

In the above-described embodiment, the example in which the water reservoir 12a is provided on the right rear side of the bottom surface 14 of the lower case 12 has been described. 12a may be arranged.

In the above-described embodiment, the example in which the damming portion 70 is provided only on the left side of the water reservoir 12a has been described. However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and the damming portion 70 may be provided on both sides of the water reservoir 12a.

In the above-described embodiment, an example in which the wall portion is formed in a substantially U-shape as the damming portion 70 has been described, but instead, the wall portion is U-shaped or V-shaped. You may use what was formed.

In the above-described embodiment, an example in which a part of the damming unit 70 is disposed in the water reservoir 12a has been described. However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and the damming unit 70 is offset from the water reservoir 12a. You may make it.
