Description

The present invention relates to a rear body structure of a vehicle, and more particularly to a rear body structure of a vehicle having an openable roof.

As described in Patent Document 1, in a vehicle having an openable roof, a storage portion for storing the openable roof is formed, and in order to ensure the rigidity of the vehicle body, on each of the left and right sides of the storage portion In addition, an inner panel and a belt line reinforcement (waist line reinforcement) constituting the closed cross section are disposed, and further, a closed cross section that is continuous with the closed cross section is formed at the rear portion of the storage portion in the vehicle width direction. An extended rear deck member is disposed.

Here, the storage part of the openable roof is generally formed between the cabin and the trunk. When attempting to increase the opening area of the storage portion due to the opening / closing locus of the openable / closable roof, it is difficult to increase the length in the vehicle front-rear direction in order to ensure sufficient cabin space and trunk capacity. Further, the length in the vehicle width direction is basically difficult because the size of the entire vehicle in the vehicle width direction is increased. As a method of increasing the opening area of the storage unit under such restrictions, the radius of the corner portion from the side part of the storage unit to the rear part is reduced so that the storage unit becomes more square in plan view. Can be mentioned. By doing so, the opening area is expanded at least in the corner portion of the storage portion.

However, if the radius of the corner portion from the side portion of the storage portion to the rear portion is reduced, it is difficult to ensure the rigidity of that portion. Further, since the corner portion serves as a joint portion between the inner panel and the belt line reinforcement and the rear deck member, it is necessary to smoothly couple them.

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to secure a sufficient rigidity around the storage portion of the openable roof while enhancing the degree of freedom of the shape in plan view.

According to the present invention, a storage portion that opens upward of the vehicle and that can store an openable / closable roof, an inner panel disposed on each of the left and right sides of the storage portion, and an outer panel disposed on each of the inner panels. A beltline reinforcement for forming a closed cross-section at each of the left and right sides of the storage portion, and a closed cross-section extending in the vehicle width direction at the rear of the storage portion and continuing to the closed cross-section. Forming a rear deck member, wherein each of the beltline reinforcement and the rear deck member are coupled, while each of the inner panel and the rear deck member is at least partially rear body structure from the inner panel and the rear deck member, characterized in that attached by a connecting member defining a peripheral portion of the storage portion separately is It is subjected.

According to this configuration, by providing the connecting member, the degree of freedom in the shape of the joint portion between the inner panel and the belt line reinforcement and the rear deck member can be improved, and rigidity can be ensured. Accordingly, it is possible to ensure sufficient rigidity around the storage portion of the openable roof while enhancing the degree of freedom of the shape in plan view.

In the present invention, it is possible to adopt a configuration in which the connecting member has a protruding portion that protrudes into the closed cross section and at least partially partitions the closed cross section, at the coupling end portion with the rear deck member. According to this configuration, since the connecting member has the protruding portion, it is not necessary to process a separate reinforcing member in the closed cross section, and the rigidity around the storage portion can be improved.

In the present invention, the connecting member may be combined with a rear wheel house. According to this configuration, the rigidity around the storage portion can be further improved.

In the present invention, a configuration in which a gusset member that connects a floor panel and the rear deck member is coupled to the rear deck member in the vicinity of a coupling end with the coupling member can be employed. According to this configuration, the rigidity around the storage portion can be further improved by coupling the rear deck member to the floor panel via the gusset member.

Moreover, in this invention, the structure comprised from the material whose rigidity is higher than the said inner panel can be employ | adopted for the said connection member. According to this configuration, the rigidity around the storage portion can be further improved.

Moreover, in this invention, the structure arrange | positioned at the corner part of the said accommodating part can be employ | adopted for the said connection member. According to this configuration, the above-described effects can be exhibited most significantly in the corner portion that is not easily processed.

As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to secure sufficient rigidity around the storage portion of the openable roof while enhancing the degree of freedom of the shape in plan view.

FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a vehicle body structure A (front portion omitted) according to an embodiment of the present invention. The vehicle body structure A is a vehicle body structure that assumes a two-theta open car with an openable roof and an engine mounted on the front of the vehicle body. 4 is a view showing a state in which the openable roof 5 is closed in the vehicle body structure A, and FIG. 5 is a view showing a state in which the openable roof 5 is opened. A rear glass 5a is provided at the rear of the openable roof 5. Yes. Referring to FIG. 1, the vehicle body structure A can store an openable / closable roof 5 that opens upward from the vehicle between a seat installation space 1 and a rear trunk 2 and is folded as shown in FIG. 5. A storage unit 3 is provided.

The storage unit 3 is disposed on the floor panel 31 disposed on the bottom thereof, the bulkhead 32 disposed on the rear thereof, the rear deck member 33 disposed on the top of the bulkhead 32, and the left and right sides thereof. The inner panel 34 and the wheel house 35 are defined. A rear fender panel 4 that is an exterior panel is disposed on the outer side of the inner panel 34 and the wheel house 35, and a trunk hood 2 a that covers the trunk 2 is disposed between the left and right rear fender panels 4. The upper periphery of the rear deck member 33 is covered with a rear deck cover (not shown). Hereinafter, the structure of the periphery of the storage part 3 is demonstrated with reference to FIG.1 and FIG.2.

FIG. 2 is a plan view showing the main part of the rear part of the vehicle body structure A, with the rear fender panel 4 and the trunk hood 2a omitted, indicated by a solid line. A belt line reinforcement 36 for forming a closed cross section on each of the left and right sides of the storage portion 3 is disposed outside each inner panel 34. FIG. 3A is a cross-sectional view of the main part along the line II in FIG. As shown in the figure, the beltline reinforcement 36 has a lower edge coupled to the wheel house outer 35 b and an upper edge coupled to the inner panel 34. The lower edge of the inner panel 34 is coupled to the wheel house inner 35a. Thus, a closed cross section S1 is formed by the beltline reinforcement 36, the inner panel 34, the wheel house inner 35a, and the wheel house outer 35b.

The rear deck member 33 extends in the vehicle width direction at the rear portion of the storage portion 3 and forms a closed cross section that is continuous with the closed cross section S1. FIG. 3B is a cross-sectional view of the main part along the line II-II in FIG. The rear deck member 33 includes an upper panel 33a, a front panel 33b, and a rear panel 33c, and a closed cross section S2 that is continuous with the closed cross section S1 is formed by connecting these members. The upper edge of the bulkhead 32 is coupled to the lower end of the rear deck member 33.

As shown in FIG. 2, the inner panel 34 and the beltline reinforcement 36 are bent inwardly of the vehicle body at the corner portion 3 a from the side portion of the storage portion 3 to the rear portion, and the beltline reinforcement 36 is It is combined with the upper panel 33a. On the other hand, the upper portion of the inner panel 34 is coupled to the front panel 33 b of the rear deck member 33, while the lower portion thereof is coupled to the front panel 33 b via a connecting member 37. FIG. 3C is a cross-sectional view of a main part taken along line III-III in FIG.

The connecting member 37 is a separate member from the inner panel 34 and the rear deck member 33, and is disposed in the corner portion 3 a of the storage portion 3 in this embodiment. In the present embodiment, the inner panel 34 is partially coupled to the rear deck member 33, but the inner panel 34 and the coupling member 37 may all be coupled with the coupling member 37 interposed therebetween. In the present embodiment, by providing the connecting member 37, it is possible to improve the degree of freedom of the shape of the connecting portion between the inner panel 34, the belt line reinforcement 36, and the rear deck member 33, and to secure rigidity.

That is, when the radius of the corner portion 3a of the storage portion 3 is reduced to increase the opening area of the storage portion 3, the radius of the bent portion of the beltline reinforcement 36 on the outer peripheral side of the corner portion 3a is not so small. Even so, the radius of the bent portion of the inner panel 34 on the inner peripheral side of the corner portion 3a is extremely small. Therefore, if the inner panel 34 alone is to be connected to the rear deck member 33, there is a concern that the rigidity of the bent portion is lowered. On the other hand, if a material having high rigidity is used as the inner panel 34, the workability of the shape of the entire inner panel 34 including a bent portion that is not particularly easy to process becomes worse. Then, like this embodiment, by using the connection member 37 locally, workability deterioration prevention and rigidity ensuring can be made compatible, and the freedom degree of the planar view shape of the storage part of the storage part 3 is made. It is possible to ensure sufficient rigidity around it while increasing.

In the present embodiment, the connecting member 37 is made of a material having a rigidity higher than that of the inner panel 34 by using a panel that is thicker than the inner panel 34. By doing so, the rigidity of the corner portion 3a can be further increased, and the rigidity around the storage portion 3 can be further improved. In order to increase the rigidity of the connecting member 37 as compared with the inner panel 34, materials having different mechanical properties can be used in addition to increasing the plate thickness.

3C, the connecting member 37 has an upper edge coupled to the inner panel 34 and a lower edge coupled to the upper surface of the wheel house inner 35a of the wheel house 35. The upper edge of the inner panel 34 is coupled to the upper edge of the beltline reinforcement 36. The lower edge of the beltline reinforcement 35 is coupled to the upper surface of the wheel house inner 35a. Thus, the beltline reinforcement 36, the inner panel 34, the wheel house inner 35a, and the connecting member 37 form a closed section S3 that is continuous with the closed section S1. By connecting the connecting member 37 to the wheel house 35, the rigidity of the inner panel 34 and the rear deck member 33 connected to the connecting member 37 can be increased, and the rigidity around the storage portion 3 can be further improved.

Next, the connecting member 37 has a protruding portion that protrudes in a node shape within the closed cross section at the coupling end portion with the rear deck member 33. FIG. 3D is a main part sectional view taken along line IV-IV in FIG. 2, and shows a configuration in the vicinity of the coupling end of the connecting member 37 with the rear deck member 33. In the figure, the end face of the connecting member 37 is shown. A part of the end surface of the connecting member 37 is bent downward to form an L-shaped protruding portion 37a. FIG. 3E is a perspective view showing the shape of the end of the connecting member 37 provided with the protruding portion 37a.

With reference to FIG. 3 (d), the front panel 33 b of the rear deck member 33 is overlapped with the outer side of the end of the connecting member 37 and coupled to the connecting member 37. The protruding portion 37a is formed by the rear deck member 33, protrudes in a closed section S4 continuous with the closed sections S2 and S3, and is coupled to the upper surface of the rear panel 33c.

Here, in general, providing a reinforcing member that at least partially partitions the closed cross section into a node shape contributes to improving the rigidity of the member constituting the closed cross section, but the area of the closed cross section formed by the rear deck member 33 is small. In some cases, it is difficult to dispose a reinforcing member for partitioning it and weld it. In this embodiment, a part of the connecting member 37 is used as the protruding portion 37a, and by forming a reinforcing member that partitions the closed section of the rear deck member 33 into a node shape, there is no need to process a separate reinforcing member, The rigidity of the rear deck member 33 can be increased, and the rigidity around the storage portion 3 can be further improved.

Further, the rear deck member 33 is connected to the gusset members 38a and 38b connecting the floor panel 31 and the rear deck member 33 in the vicinity of the connecting end portion with the connecting member 37 (in the present embodiment, in the vicinity of the protruding portion 37a). Has been. The gusset members 38a and 38b are long plate-like members. The upper end of the gusset member 38a is coupled to the lower surface of the rear panel 33c, and the lower end of the gusset member 38b is coupled to the upper surface of the floor panel 38b. And the lower end of the gusset member 38a and the upper end of the gusset member 38b are couple | bonded.

Thus, by connecting the rear deck member 33 to the floor panel 31 via the gusset members 38a and 38b, the rigidity of the rear deck member 33 can be further improved, and the rigidity around the storage portion 3 can be further improved. In particular, the vicinity of the wheel house 35 is a part where the support portion of the rear suspension is formed and is a part where a certain rigidity is required. In this embodiment, the arrangement of the connection member 37, the connection member 37 and the wheel house are arranged. 35, the formation of the protrusion 37a, and the arrangement of the gusset members 38a and 38b are concentrated in the vicinity of the wheel house 35, and sufficient rigidity is secured to support the rear suspension.

In the case of this embodiment, the bulkhead 32 is also coupled to the rear deck member 33 and the floor panel 31 in the vicinity of the coupling end portion of the rear deck member 33 with the connecting member 33. Therefore, the bulkhead 32 also functions as a kind of gusset member.
