Claims (7)
- 画素領域及び非画素領域を有する第1基板及び第2基板を用意する工程と、
前記第1基板上に互いに交差されて前記画素領域を定義するゲート配線及びデータ配線と、前記ゲート配線及びデータ配線の交差領域に形成され、ゲート電極、ソース電極、及びドレイン電極を備えてなる薄膜トランジスタと、前記薄膜トランジスタのドレイン電極と接続される画素電極を形成する工程と、
前記薄膜トランジスタの領域を除いた前記第1基板の全面に配向膜を塗布することによって、前記薄膜トランジスタの領域にウェルを形成する工程と、
ボールスペーサが混合された溶液をインクジェット装置に装着する工程と、
前記インクジェット装置を前記第1基板上で移動させて、前記ボールスペーサが前記画素領域に移動することを防止するため、前記第1基板上の前記ウェルに前記混合溶液を滴下する工程と、
前記滴下された混合溶液を乾燥させて、前記第1基板上のウェルにボールスペーサを残す工程とを備える、液晶表示素子の製造方法。 - 前記第2基板上に光の洩れを防止する遮光層と、前記遮光層上に形成された緑色、赤色、青色のカラーフィルタ層とを形成する工程を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液晶表示素子の製造方法。
- 前記ウェルは前記遮光層のうち所定領域に対応することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の液晶表示素子の製造方法。
- 前記配向膜を塗布する工程は、
インクジェット装置を用いて行うことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液晶表示素子の製造方法。 - 前記基板に対向する対向基板を用意する工程と、
前記両基板間に液晶層を形成する工程と、
前記両基板を合着する工程と、
をさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液晶表示素子の製造方法。 - 前記両基板間に液晶層を形成する工程は、
前記対向基板のいずれか一つの基板上に液晶を滴下した後に両基板を合着する工程からなることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の液晶表示素子の製造方法。 - 前記両基板間に液晶層を形成する工程は、前記両基板を合着した後に、前記両基板間に液晶層を注入する工程からなることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の液晶表示素子の製造方法。
