Description
Claims (11)
- ボディ内の円筒形の穴の中心軸上で、ロッドを有する加工物の心出しをするための方法であって、
(a)穴の端部に、該円筒形の穴の中をはめ合い状態でスライド可能な円筒形の外面と、中心軸と同軸でアーバーの端部から突出している対称的な基準ピンとを有するアーバーを挿入すること、
(b)中心軸を横切る平面内の基準ピンのポジションを検出すること、及び、ピンのポジション・データをコンピューター・システムに伝送すること、
(c)ピンのポジション・データから基準ピンの中心を計算すること及びその基準ピンの中心を穴の軸ターゲットとして表示すること、
(d)穴からアーバーを取外すこと、そして、穴の端部から突出したロッドを付けた加工物を穴の中に挿入すること、
(e)中心軸を横切る平面内でロッドのポジションを検出すること、及び、ロッドのポジション・データをコンピューター・システムに伝送すること、
(f)ロッドのポジション・データからロッドの中心を計算すること、及び、ロッドの中心をロッド・ターゲットとして表示すること、
(g)ロッド・ターゲットが実質的に穴の軸ターゲットと一致するようにロッドのポジションを調節すること、
から成っている方法。 - 基準ピンのポジションとロッドのポジションが電気機械的に検出されることを特徴とする請求項1に基づく方法。
- 基準ピンのポジションとロッドのポジションが光学的に検出されることを特徴とする請求項1に基づく方法。
- ポジションの検出が、複数の光伝送器のそれぞれから中心軸を横切って協調する光受信器への光ビームを発生し、かつ、伝送することから成っていて、その基準ピンとロッドがその対向する受信器に影を投影し、中心軸に対する基準ピン又はロッドの位置を表示させることを特徴とする請求項3に基づく方法。
- 光ビームが2対の協調している光伝送器と光受信器の間で中心軸を直交的に横切って伝送されることを特徴とする請求項4の方法。
- 光伝送器が光ビームを発生するために発光ダイオードを組込み、光受信器が電荷結合素子であることを特徴とする請求項4の方法。
- 穴がフリー・ピストン・マシンの穴であり、加工物がフリー・ピストン・マシンのコネクティング・ロッドであり、又、ディスプレーサーがコネクティング・ロッドの遠方側端部に位置していて、実質的に穴の中でコネクティング・ロッドの遠方側端部の中心になっていることを特徴とする請求項1に基づく方法。
- ボディ内の円筒形の穴の中心軸上に加工物の心出しをするための加工物位置決めシステムで、その加工物がロッドを含み、
(a)アーバーが円筒形の穴の中ではめ合い状態でスライドする寸法の円筒形外面を有すること、そのアーバーがスリーブ内に挿入するためにアーバーの端部から突出した対称的な基準ピンを有すること、
(b)穴の中の基準ピンの位置を特定して、かつ、ピン位置の信号を発生するための、又、穴の中に挿入されたときのロッドの位置を決定し、ロッドのポジション信号を発生するための位置決定システム、
(c)ピンのポジション信号とロッドのポジション信号を受信し、ピンのポジション信号から穴の中心を計算し、ロッドのポジション信号からロッドの中心の位置を計算し、かつ、穴の中心とロッドの中心の位置が実質的に一致したときに表示するためのコンピューター・システム
から成るシステム。 - 位置決定システムが、基準ピンのポジションとロッドのポジションを機械的に検出して、ポジションを代表する電気信号を発生するための少なくとも1個のポジション伝送器を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に基づくシステム。
- 位置決定システムが複数のポジション検出器を含み、各ポジション検出器が協調する光受信器から間隔を置いて光伝送器を有して、その対向する光受信器に中心軸を横切る光ビームを伝送すること、そのポジション検出器が軸の回りに角度的に間隔を設けて、基準ピン又はロッドが光路を干渉するとき、影が対向する受信器に投影されて、基準ピン又はロッドの中心軸に対する位置を表示することを特徴とする請求項8に基づくシステム。
- 穴がフリー・ピストン・マシンの穴であり、加工物がフリー・ピストン・マシンのコネクティング・ロッドであり、ディスプレーサーがそのコネクティング・ロッドの遠方側端部に位置していて、穴の中のコネクティング・ロッドの遠方側端部の実質的中心であることを特徴とする請求項8に基づくシステム。
