Description
Claims (9)
- タービン室(30)の中で実質的に垂直な軸の廻りを回転するためにタービン室内に設置されたタービン(10)から成っている潮流を動力とするエネルギー生成装置において、
該タービン(10)が支柱(22)に結合していて、その支柱の下部はタービン室の下部で旋回可能に支持され(24)、かつ、その支柱の上部はタービン室の内壁の一部と係合している複数の回転要素(36)により水平面内での支持をされていて、それにより、前記タービンが前記タービン室の中で、そのタービンが優勢な水流方向に対して常に最適な位置であるように選択的に回転できることを特徴とするエネルギー生成装置。 - 前記回転要素(36)が操作可能であり、それにより、タービンの前記の選択的回転を生じることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- その回転要素が流体的に又は電気的に操作される車輪であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の装置。
- タービン(10)と回転要素(36)の間の支柱に要素(28)があり、その一部が前記タービンの方向に先細になっていることにより、タービン室の流れ用開口部(32)をタービン翼(12)により形成される直径にほぼ等しい寸法に低減することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 支柱よりも大きな外周を有して、支柱に取付けられた水平面内の要素(28)に流体の漏洩を防止するためのシール(34)が設けられ、その場合、前記要素がタービン(10)と回転要素(36)の間に配置され、前記シールが該要素(28)の最大周縁部に沿って配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記シール(34)がタービン室の内壁(31)の周縁部分と選択的に接触して、前記支柱を希望の位置に支持し、前記要素(28)より上方の空間に水が入るのを防ぎ、運転中にタービンからの振動がタービン室(30)に伝わるのを防ぐことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の装置。
- 運転中の水流がタービン翼(12)を通過するときに与えられる回転方向と反対の回転方向を与えられるように前記支柱(22)の少なくとも一部分がガイドベーンの形に作られていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- タービン(10)と発電機(38)の間のエネルギー伝達が前記支柱(22)内の内部通路を通って与えられること、かつ、前記発電機が前記円形の要素(28)より上方の高さに、好ましくは、前記タービン室(30)より上方の高さに配置されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記タービン室(30)は、電力を発生する場所まで、かつ、海底に設置される場所まで浮上できる事前加工された要素であり、タービン室の上部が通常水位の記録値より上方の高さになっていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
