竹型CNT(NanoLab社製品 直径20〜40nm、長さ1〜5μm、10層)60mg、グルコースオキシダーゼ(天野エンザイム製品)10mgおよびミネラルオイル(Aldrich社製品)30mgを乳鉢中で15分間混錬した後、カーボンペースト電極(BAS社製品、直径3mm)中に詰め込んだものを検出電極として使用した。対極に白金線(BAS社製品)、参照極に銀/塩化銀電極(BAS社製品)を用いた。グルコースを0mM、1mM、5mM、10mMの濃度となるように溶解させた50mMのリン酸緩衝液(pH 7.4)を測定サンプルとして用いた。各測定サンプル中に検出電極、対極および参照極を浸した状態で-0.2Vを作用電極に対して印加して、90秒後に得られた電流値をグルコース濃度に対してプロットし検量線を作成した。
実施例において、竹型CNTの代わりに同量の完全中空型CNT(NanoLab社製品 直径15〜45nm、長さ1〜5μm、10層)が用いられた。

- 竹型(bamboo-shaped)カーボンナノチューブを用いて形成される検出電極を具備するバイオセンサ。
- 検出電極が、ミネラルオイル、イオン性液体または高分子バインダー樹脂と混合されたペースト状竹型カーボンナノチューブで形成される請求項1記載のバイオセンサ。
- 検出電極が、筒状容器に充填されたペースト状竹型カーボンナノチューブで形成される請求項2記載のバイオセンサ。
- 検出電極が、水またはアルコールに分散された竹型カーボンナノチューブで形成される請求項1記載のバイオセンサ。
- 検出電極が、絶縁性基板上に配置された、ペースト状竹型カーボンナノチューブで形成される請求項2記載のバイオセンサ。
- 検出電極が、絶縁性基板上に配置された、水あるいはアルコールに分散された竹型カーボンナノチューブで形成される請求項4記載のバイオセンサ。

- 特定電圧が、銀/塩化銀電極を基準とした場合に-0.5〜+0.1Vである請求項15記載のバイオセンサ。
- 請求項1〜16のいずれかに記載のバイオセンサを用いる、液体試料中の測定物質の検出または定量方法。
