Claims (15)
- 分散警報相関を使用して通信ネットワークの障害を診断する方法であって、
前記通信ネットワークのネットワーク・ノードにおいて局所的に警報データを受信するステップと、
関連するノード・レベル警報相関ツールを使用して、前記ネットワーク・ノードにおいて局所的に前記警報データを相関させて、前記ネットワーク・ノードのそれぞれにおいて相関結果を生成するステップと、
前記ネットワーク・ノードにおいて局所的に生成された前記相関結果を、それぞれの前記ネットワーク・ノードのそれぞれのユーザに報告するステップと、
前記ユーザの少なくとも1人によって提供された診断知識を、前記ネットワーク・ノードのそれぞれの少なくとも1つの局所知識ベースに追加するステップと、
前記ネットワーク・ノードにおいて、他の前記ネットワーク・ノードに対して、前記診断知識を複製するステップと、
前記診断知識および前記ネットワーク・ノードにおいて局所的に生成された前記相関結果をより高レベルの警報相関ツールに報告するステップを含み、
前記診断知識は、警報定義、相関規則、根本原因、訂正行為、および/またはトポロジ情報を含む、方法。
- 前記診断知識を他の前記ネットワーク・ノードに報告するステップと、
前記診断知識を、前記他の前記ネットワーク・ノードの局所知識ベースに追加するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記より高レベルの警報相関ツールにおいて前記相関結果を受信し、前記相関結果が、前記ネットワーク・ノードにおける局所警報相関によって決定された障害の根本原因を含むステップと、
前記ネットワーク・ノードにおいて決定された前記根本原因を相関させて、前記より高レベルの警報相関ツールにおいてより高レベルの根本原因を見つけるステップと、
前記より高レベルの根本原因を、前記より高レベルの警報相関ツールのユーザに報告するステップと、
前記より高レベルの警報相関ツールにおいて前記ユーザによって提供されたより高レベルの診断知識を、前記より高レベルの警報相関ツールのより高レベルの知識ベースに追加するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- それぞれの前記ネットワーク・ノードにおいて、局所トポロジ構成情報を受信および記憶するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 通信ネットワークの障害を診断する分散警報相関システムであって、
それぞれが、ノード・レベル警報相関を提供して、ノード・レベル相関結果を生成し、他のノードのノード・レベル警報相関ツールの他と診断知識を共有する、前記通信ネットワークのノードに配置された複数のノード・レベル警報相関ツールと、
前記通信ネットワークのネットワーク管理センタに配置された少なくとも1つのより高レベルの管理レベル警報相関ツールであって、前記ノード・レベル警報相関ツールのそれぞれが、前記診断知識および前記ノード・レベル相関結果をより高レベルの管理レベル警報相関ツールと共有し、より高レベルの警報相関を提供して、より高レベルの相関結果を生成するより高レベルの管理レベル警報相関ツールとを備え、
前記診断知識は、警報定義、相関規則、根本原因、訂正行為、および/またはトポロジ情報を含む、分散警報相関システム。
- 前記ノード・レベル警報相関ツールのそれぞれが、前記通信ネットワークにおいて生成された警報を分類する警報グループを確定する警報定義を備える、請求項5に記載の分散警報相関システム。
- 前記ノード・レベル警報相関ツールのそれぞれが、ネットワーク要素から受信された警報に応答して根本原因を決定するための相関規則を備える、請求項6に記載の分散警報相関システム。
- 前記ノード・レベル警報相関ツールのそれぞれが、局所トポロジ構成情報を備える、請求項7に記載の分散警報相関システム。
- 前記ノード・レベル警報相関ツールのそれぞれが、局所知識ベースを含む、請求項5に記載の分散警報相関システム。
- 各前記より高レベルの管理レベル警報相関ツールが、より高レベルの知識ベースを含む、請求項5に記載の分散警報相関システム。
- 前記ノード・レベル警報相関ツールのそれぞれが、ユーザ確定相関規則を使用して、ネットワーク要素警報データを局所的に記憶されたトポロジ構成情報と相関させる警報コリレータを含む、請求項5に記載の分散警報相関システム。
- 前記ノード・レベル警報相関ツールのそれぞれが、ユーザによって追加された新しい診断知識を複製する知識レプリケータを含む、請求項5に記載の分散警報相関システム。
- 前記ノード・レベル警報相関ツールのそれぞれが、ユーザの裁量で新しい診断知識を受け取り、追加することを可能にする、請求項5に記載の分散警報相関システム。
- 通信ネットワークの障害を診断する分散警報相関システムであって、
それぞれが、ノード・レベル警報相関を提供して、ノード・レベル相関結果を生成し、診断知識をノード・レベル警報コリレータの他と共有する、前記通信ネットワークのノードに配置された複数のノード・レベル警報コリレータと、
前記通信ネットワークのネットワーク管理センタに配置された少なくとも1つのより高レベルの管理レベル警報コリレータであって、ノード・レベル警報コリレータのそれぞれが、前記診断知識および前記ノード・レベル相関結果を前記より高レベルの管理レベル警報コリレータと共有し、より高レベルの警報相関を提供して、より高レベルの相関結果を生成する少なくとも1つのより高レベルの管理レベル警報コリレータとを備え、
前記診断知識は、警報定義、相関規則、根本原因、訂正行為、および/またはトポロジ情報を含む、分散警報相関システム。
- コンピュータ・システムに通信ネットワークにおいて障害診断の方法を実施させる内容をもつ機械読取り可能媒体であって、前記方法が、
前記通信ネットワークのネットワーク・ノードにおいて局所的に警報データを受信するステップと、
関連するノード・レベル警報相関ツールを使用して、前記ネットワーク・ノードにおいて局所的に前記警報データを相関させて、前記ネットワーク・ノードのそれぞれにおいて相関結果を生成するステップと、
前記ネットワーク・ノードにおいて局所的に生成された前記相関結果を、それぞれの前記ネットワーク・ノードのそれぞれのユーザに報告するステップと、
前記ユーザの少なくとも1人によって提供された診断知識を、前記ネットワーク・ノードのそれぞれの少なくとも1つの局所知識ベースに追加するステップと、
前記ネットワーク・ノードにおいて、他の前記ネットワーク・ノードに対して、前記診断知識を複製するステップと、
前記診断知識および前記ネットワーク・ノードにおいて局所的に生成された前記相関結果をより高レベルの警報相関ツールに報告するステップを含み、
前記診断知識は、警報定義、相関規則、根本原因、訂正行為、および/またはトポロジ情報を含む、機械読取り可能媒体。
