Description
前記光触媒材料に混合する磁性体として、酸化チタンの性質に影響を与えない温度で合金状の混合物を形成可能で、かつ、容易に微粉砕処理が可能な性質を持つ材料を用いることを特徴とする。
Claims (6)
- 有害物質を含む廃棄物を、水または任意の液体に分散させてスラリー状の混合物を作成し、前記スラリー状の混合物を、光を透過する材料で作った処理流路を通しながら紫外線を照射し、前記被処理混合物中に含まれる有害物質を、前記紫外線を照射することによって活性化される光触媒を用いて無害化処理することを含む、廃棄物処理方法において、前記光触媒が、磁性体材料と光触媒材とを混合および加熱溶融し、それによって得られた塊状の合金状混合物を微細な粉状とし、これを磁化処理して得られたものであることを特徴とする、前記方法。
- 前記廃棄物を光触媒に紫外線を当てて処理するに際し、該処理のための紫外線処理装置として、紫外線を発光するランプ状の本体に対して、その周囲に螺旋状で処理液を層状にして流し得るようにする流路を配置し、前記流路をガラス様の光を透過する透明な材料を用いて構成したものを用いることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の廃棄物処理方法。
- 請求項1または請求項2に記載の廃棄物処理方法に使用するための光触媒材料であって、前記光触媒材料は、磁性体材料と光触媒材とを混合して加熱溶融し、それによって塊状の合金状混合物を作成し、前記合金状混合物を微粉砕して微細な粉状の光触媒材料として作成し、および前記粉状の材料に対して磁化処理を行って得られるものであり、ならびに、前記光触媒材料は、廃棄物の液に混入して、紫外線を照射することによって活性化され、前記廃棄物に含まれる有害成分を無害化する作用を有することを特徴とする、前記光触媒材料。
- 前記光触媒材が酸化チタンであり、および、前記磁性体材料が鉄を含むことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の光触媒材料。
- 前記廃棄物に含まれる有害成分を分解処理した後で、前記磁性体材料とともに前記光触媒材料を磁気的な分離手段により回収して、再使用に供給することが可能であることを特徴とする、請求項3また4に記載の光触媒材料。
- 前記光触媒が、請求項3〜5のいずれか1項に記載の光触媒材料であることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の廃棄物処理方法。
