Claims (7)
- 時定数キャパシタを含む時定数回路の時定数に応じて三角波信号と矩形波信号を生成する基本波生成部と、
フィードバック電圧と既設定された基準電圧との差信号と前記三角波信号を比較し、前記差信号と前記三角波信号の相対的大きさに応じてPWM信号を生成するPWM比較部と、
LCDバックライトの電源レベルに応じて前記基本波生成部と前記時定数回路との接続ノード及び前記基本波生成部の前記矩形波信号を出力する矩形波信号出力端の電位をセットする信号同期部と、
前記基本波生成部が生成した前記矩形波信号と前記PWM比較部が生成した前記PWM信号に応じて駆動信号を生成する駆動信号生成部と、を含み、
前記信号同期部は、
前記LCDバックライトの電源レベルに応じて前記接続ノードと接地との連結をオン/オフスイッチングする第1スイッチと、
前記LCDバックライトの電源レベルに応じて前記矩形波信号出力端と電圧端との連結をオン/オフスイッチングする第2スイッチと、
を備えることを特徴とするLCDバックライト駆動回路。 - 前記基本波生成部は、
前記時定数に応じて前記三角波信号及びクロック信号を生成するメイン発振器と、
前記メイン発振器が生成した前記クロック信号を2分周し前記矩形波信号を生成する2分周器と、
を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1記載のLCDバックライト駆動回路。 - 前記PWM比較部は、
前記フィードバック電圧と前記基準電圧を比較し、前記差信号を生成するエラー比較器と、
前記エラー比較器が生成した前記差信号と前記メイン発振器が生成した前記三角波信号を比較し、前記差信号と前記三角波信号の相対的大きさに応じて前記PWM信号を生成するPWM比較器と、
を備えることを特徴とする、請求項2記載のLCDバックライト駆動回路。 - 前記第1スイッチは、前記LCDバックライトの電源レベルに応じて、前記第2スイッチと同期して同時にオンまたはオフ動作することを特徴とする、請求項1記載のLCDバックライト駆動回路。
- 前記第1スイッチは、前記LCDバックライトの電源印加の際に、前記接続ノードと接地とを連結させ、前記LCDバックライト電源が印加されない場合に、前記接続ノードと接地とを分離することを特徴とする、請求項1又は4に記載のLCDバックライト駆動回路。
- 前記第2スイッチは、前記LCDバックライトの電源印加の際に、前記矩形波信号出力端と前記電圧端とを連結し、前記LCDバックライトの電源が印加されない場合に、前記矩形波信号出力端と電圧端とを分離することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のLCDバックライト駆動回路。
- 前記駆動信号生成部は、
前記基本波生成部が生成した前記矩形波信号を反転した反転矩形波信号を生成するインバータと、
前記基本波生成部が生成した前記矩形波信号と前記PWM比較部が生成した前記PWM信号の論理積を出力する第1アンドゲートと、
前記インバータが生成した前記反転矩形波信号と前記PWM比較部が生成した前記P WM信号の論理積を出力する第2アンドゲートと、
を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載のLCDバックライト駆動回路。
