本発明は、化学工場、半導体製造、食品、バイオなどの各種産業分野における流体輸送配管に用いられるピンチバルブに関するものであり、更に詳しくは流量設定の再現性に優れ、かつ過締め防止機能を有したピンチバルブに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、ピンチバルブは種々提案されているが、その中の一例が実開平2−84071号公報に開示されている。これによると図13に示すようにハウジング50に挿通した合成樹脂製チューブ51を、チューブ押圧部材52により径方向に押圧して流体の流量を調整するものであって、合成樹脂製チューブ51の押圧部外周面に、合成樹脂製チューブ51を偏平状態に変形可能な合成樹脂製チューブ51より大きな復元力を有する弾性環53を嵌合したものであった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、半導体の製造工程中には、ウエハーの表面を研磨する工程があり、その際に多種多様なスラリーが使用されるが、そのスラリーは非常に凝集しやすい性質を持っており、配管内に滞留部が存在するとそこにスラリーが凝集・固着して度々配管を詰まらせていた。そこでこの詰まりの前兆現象である流体流量低下が見られた場合に、バルブを全開にして固着したスラリーを除去する洗浄を行う必要があった。
しかしながら、前記構造のピンチバルブを上記工程中に使用した場合には、流量を調整した状態のままで用いられるのが一般的であり、洗浄を行うたびに、バルブを全開にした後、元の設定流量値に戻す場合、再度初めからの開度調整となり、元の設定流量値に戻すことが非常に困難であった。さらに過度の締付トルクがハンドルに加わると、本体及び管体が破損する恐れがあった。

上記の構成から成る本実施例のピンチバルブの作動は次のとおりである。
図1,2に示すようにピンチバルブ全閉の状態でハンドル2を開方向に回動させると、ハンドル2は、回動はするが上下移動せずに、ハンドル2の雌ネジ部9に螺合された挟圧子本体4を回動させずに上昇させる。同時に挟圧子本体4の挟圧子15は管体5から離間し、管体5は管体自体の弾性力により偏平状態から円管状態に復元しようとする。すなわち該ピンチバルブが全閉状態から開状態へ移行していく。さらにハンドル3を開方向に回動し続けると挟圧子本体4は上昇し続け、そしてついには挟圧子本体4の鍔部14の上端部がハンドル2の下端面に到達圧接し挟圧子本体4の上昇は止まり、該ピンチバルブは全開状態になる(図3,4の状態)。

以上の説明から明らかなように、本発明のピンチバルブにおいては、中間開度の設定ができるとともに流量調整の再現性に優れ、またバルブ全閉時の過締めを確実に防止できるものとなっており、本体及び管体を保護しピンチバルブの耐用期間を飛躍的に延長することができる。
