Description
図1において、11は移動可能な台車であり、この台車11には複数個、ここでは96個のボビン12が碁盤目状に整列された状態で回転可能に支持されている。各ボビン12には、例えば有機繊維、スチール等のコード、モノフィラメントからなる補強素子Hが巻取られているとともに、該補強素子Hはボビン12から必要に応じて巻出される。
各ボビン12から補強素子Hが巻出されると、これら複数本(96本)の補強素子Hは前方に向かって走行しながらガイド16により集束された後、コムロール17によって横一列に一定ピッチで平行に引き揃えられる。その後、これら補強素子Hはヘッド21の口金22内に導かれるが、このとき、該口金22内にはシリンダによって熱入れされた未加硫ゴムも供給されているため、前記引き揃えられた補強素子Hの周囲に未加硫ゴムがコーティングされ、この結果、該口金22からは内部に多数本の補強素子Hが等間隔で埋設された幅広の帯状部材Bが押出し成形される。また、このとき、帯状部材B(コーティングゴムG)の表裏面には成形溝24a、24bによって補強素子Hに平行に延びる多数本の微小突条25a、25bがそれぞれ形成される。

Claims (3)
- 平行に引き揃えられた複数本の補強素子を長手方向に走行させながら周囲に未加硫ゴムをコーティングして幅広の帯状部材を成形する工程と、該帯状部材の成形直後に帯状部材を補強素子に沿って長手方向に切断し複数本の幅狭帯状部材に切り分ける工程と、各幅狭帯状部材を個別にロール状に巻取る工程とを備えた幅狭帯状部材の製造方法において、補強素子の周囲に未加硫ゴムをコーティングする際、帯状部材のコーティングゴムの表面または裏面の少なくともいずれか一方に補強素子に沿って延びる多数本の微小突条を幅方向にほぼ等距離離して形成するようにしたことを特徴とする幅狭帯状部材の製造方法。
- 帯状部材の成形後で巻取り前に、帯状部材のコーティングゴムの表面または裏面の少なくともいずれか一方に多数の微小凹みをほぼ均一に形成するとともに、前記微小凹みの幅を隣接する微小突条間の幅方向距離より大とした請求項1記載の幅狭帯状部材の製造方法。
- 平行に引き揃えられた長手方向に走行している複数本の補強素子の周囲に未加硫ゴムをコーティングして幅広の帯状部材を成形する帯状部材成形手段と、該帯状部材の成形直後に帯状部材を補強素子に沿って長手方向に切断し複数本の幅狭帯状部材に切り分ける切断手段と、各幅狭帯状部材を個別にロール状に巻取る巻取り手段とを備えた幅狭帯状部材の製造装置において、前記補強素子に対するゴムコーティングを押出機によって行うとき、該押出機のヘッドに設けられた口金の内面に幅方向にほぼ等距離離して多数の成形溝を形成し、これら成形溝により帯状部材のコーティンゴムの表面または裏面の少なくともいずれか一方に補強素子に沿って延びる多数本の微小突条を形成するようにしたことを特徴とする幅狭帯状部材の製造装置。
