BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an electromagnetic attractive magnetic bearing and a nonlinear control method thereof.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The electromagnetic attraction type magnetic bearing has advantages such as no friction and wear and no need for lubrication due to non-contact support, and is used for various bearings.
[0003]
In a conventional general electromagnetic attraction type magnetic bearing, two electromagnets are paired to form one actuator, and a bias current is supplied to linearly approximate the attraction force of an electromagnet with strong nonlinearity. Yes. As a result, the magnetic bearing system can be handled as a linear system, and control based on linear control theory is possible.
[0004]
However, in such a conventional electromagnetic attraction type magnetic bearing, since current is always supplied as a bias current, there is a problem that power consumption during operation and heat generation of the electromagnet due to this are large.
[0005]
In order to solve this problem, a zero power magnetic bearing using a combination of a permanent magnet and an electromagnet has been proposed ("Discrete time sliding mode control of a zero power magnetic bearing", Mechanics C, 62-595, pp. 196). 967-975, 1996). This magnetic bearing uses a permanent magnet instead of a bias current attracting force, so that no bias current is required, and power consumption can be greatly reduced. However, such a zero power magnetic bearing has a complicated actuator structure as compared with a magnetic bearing using only an electromagnet, and a cost increase becomes a problem.
[0006]
Accordingly, the inventors of the present invention created a zero-power magnetic bearing composed only of electromagnets and filed an application earlier ("active control electromagnetic attraction magnetic bearing", Japanese Patent Application No. 11-354052, unpublished). .
[0007]
This magnetic bearing maintains a floating body in a neutral position by passing a current through a pair of electromagnets facing each other across the floating body in a direction that cancels the displacement from the center position of the floating body by a two-input nonlinear control method. is there.
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The inventors of the present invention announced "Non-linear control of zero-power magnetic bearing, 1st report, Proposal of control algorithm based on Lyapunov's direct method" based on the above-mentioned patent application (the 12th electromagnetic force related Dynamics Symposium, June 30, 2000).
[0009]
However, this nonlinear control has the following problems.
(1) Compared to the conventional electromagnetic attraction type magnetic bearing using a bias current, the bias current is unnecessary, so power loss and eddy current can be reduced, but no damping force can be generated when returning from the deviation to the equilibrium point. . Therefore, it takes time to converge.
(2) In nonlinear control, if the Lyapunov function is negative (always negative), the equilibrium point becomes asymptotically stable, and the displacement and speed converge to 0, which is the origin. It was not fully satisfied. Therefore, the proof of stability was indispensable by the simulation of the closed loop system.
[0010]
Hereinafter, the above problem will be described in more detail.
[0011]
The Lyapunov function is one of functions for examining the stability of an isolated equilibrium point of a system of real ordinary differential equations. That is, a function V of displacement and velocity is defined, and when the time derivative dV / dt ≦ 0 is established, the function V is a Lyapunov function. At this time, the equilibrium point of the origin becomes asymptotically stable, and the displacement and speed converge to the origin. This is called “asymptotic stability condition by Lyapunov's direct method”, which is a sufficient condition, and asymptotic stability can be obtained without satisfying other conditions.
[0012]
In the above-mentioned published paper, as shown in FIG. 7, an ideal magnetic bearing system with one degree of freedom composed of a
[0013]
(Equation 1) is the coil currents i 1 and i 2 in this paper, and can be expressed by equations (51) to (56) based on the displacement x and the velocity dx / dt. In this case, one of the coil currents i 1 and i 2 is always 0.
[0014]
[Expression 1]
(Equation 2 ) is an equation of acceleration (d 2 x / dt 2 ) indicating the characteristics of the closed loop system used in this paper. Of these, Expression (57) is applied to Expressions (51), (52), (54), and (55), and Expression (58) is applied to Expressions (52) and (55).
[0015]
[Expression 2]
Equation (57) in (Equation 2) is a linear one-degree-of-freedom vibration system with damping, while Equation (58) is a linear one-degree-of-freedom vibration system without damping. That is, the conditions of the equations (53) and (56), that is, when the displacement x is positive and the speed dx / dt is negative, or when the displacement x is negative and the speed dx / dt is positive, in other words, from the deviation to the equilibrium point In the case of returning to, it can be seen that there is no attenuation (term of speed dx / dt), the deceleration does not act and the origin is overshooted, and it takes time to converge accordingly.
[0016]
8A and 8B show simulation results in this paper, where FIG. 8A shows the displacement x and the coil currents i 1 and i 2 with respect to time, (B) shows the Lyapunov function, and (C) shows the accumulated energy consumption. It is.
[0017]
From this figure, (1) that one of the coil current i 1, i coil current i 1 is no overlap 2, i 2 is always zero, (2) the displacement x is about 0.5sec It can be seen that it is asymptotic to the equilibrium point, and (3) the Lyapunov function is not monotonously decreasing but partially increasing.
[0018]
As a result, as described above, (1) when returning from the deviation to the equilibrium point, a damping force cannot be generated, and it takes time to converge. (2) Lyapunov's asymptotic stability condition (sufficient condition) is not satisfied, and theoretically However, it is not stable, and it is necessary to prove a solution that makes the closed-loop system stable.
[0019]
The present invention has been developed to solve the above-described problems. That is, the object of the present invention is to reduce the convergence time by applying a damping force even when returning from the deviation to the equilibrium point, and to fully satisfy Lyapunov's asymptotic stability condition, which is a sufficient condition of the control system. An attraction type magnetic bearing and a nonlinear control method thereof are provided.
[0020]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the present invention, at least one pair of electromagnets (1 to 10) arranged to face each other, a floating body (11) arranged between the electromagnets and held at an intermediate position thereof, and the balance of the floating body A sensor (12) for detecting displacement and / or speed from a position, and a control device (13) for controlling the electromagnet;
When the floating body returns toward the equilibrium position, the control device (13) supplies a control current to both opposing electromagnets, thereby causing one electromagnet to act as a tension spring and the other electromagnet as a damper. to act, the electromagnetic attraction type magnetic bearing is provided, characterized in that.
[0021]
Further, it includes at least one pair of electromagnets (1 to 10) arranged to face each other and a floating body (11) that is arranged between the electromagnets and is held at an intermediate position thereof, from the equilibrium position of the floating body Detecting displacement and / or speed of
When the floating body returns toward the equilibrium position, a control current is supplied to both of the opposing electromagnets, thereby causing one electromagnet to act as a tension spring and the other electromagnet to act as a damper. A non-linear control method for an electromagnetic attractive magnetic bearing is provided.
[0022]
According to the configuration and method of the present invention, the sensor (12) detects the displacement and / or speed from the equilibrium position of the floating body, and the control device (13) always generates a damping force from the displacement and speed of the floating body. The control current of the electromagnet is controlled so that the damping force can be generated not only when the floating body moves away from the equilibrium position but also when the floating body returns toward the equilibrium position, thereby shortening the convergence time. it can.
[0024]
With this configuration and method, when the floating body returns toward the equilibrium position, one electromagnet acts as a tension spring and the other electromagnet acts as a damper to generate a damping force and shorten the convergence time.
[0025]
Further, a control current given by any one of (Equation 8), (Equation 10), and (Equation 11) is supplied to each electromagnet. As a result, when returning from the deviation to the equilibrium point, not only can the damping force be applied to shorten the convergence time, but also the Lyapunov asymptotic stability condition, which is a sufficient condition of the control system, can be completely satisfied.

FIG. 1A is a configuration diagram of a vertical rotor supported by an electromagnetic attractive magnetic bearing. FIG. 1B shows the basic configuration of an electromagnetic attraction type magnetic bearing. In FIG. 1 (A), AMB stands for active magnetic bearing, and in FIG. 1 (B), 1-10 are electromagnets.
[0028]
As shown in FIG. 1 (A) and FIG. 1 (B), the electromagnetic attraction type magnetic bearing of the present invention is provided between at least one pair of

[0031]
[Table 1]
In the example of FIGS. 1A and 1B, the axial direction (vertical direction) is controlled by conventional control, and the radial direction is controlled by the nonlinear control method of the present invention.

The displacement on the coordinates of the

[Equation 3]
Furthermore, if the influence of gravity is ignored, it is not necessary to consider the cooperation between the parallel motion and the rotational motion, and the equation of motion is expressed by equations (1) to (4) in (Equation 4). Since the equations (1) to (4) are independent from each other, a nonlinear control device corresponding to each equation can be designed.
[0034]
[Expression 4]
Further, the control current is defined as in Expression (5) of (Equation 4). Here, i pj is a control current for parallel motion, and i rj is a control current for rotational motion. In this embodiment, parallel motion and rotational motion are controlled independently.
[0035]
Hereinafter, the nonlinear control will be described. The electromagnet is switched according to the parallel motion and the rotational motion of the
[0036]
The relationship between the current on the upper side and the lower side is shown as (Equation 5), and the equation (Equation 6) is derived from the equations (5) to (7) and the equations (1) to (4).
[0037]
[Equation 5]
[0038]
[Formula 6]
As a result, the equation of motion can be simply described as (Equation 6), and the nonlinear controller can be easily designed.
[0039]
Hereinafter, a specific example of a non-linear control device for the control of the x axis will be described.
[0040]
First, Equation (12) in (Equation 7) is defined as a Lyapunov function candidate depending on Equation (8). Here, a px > 1 is defined. The derivative of equation (12) is given by equation (13).
[0041]
[Expression 7]
If equation (13) is negative, the function V is a Lyapunov function and decreases along with the solution of equation (8). At the same time, the magnetic bearing becomes asymptotically stable. In this embodiment, the expression (13) is expressed by an inequality like the expression (14). Here, γ pr > 0 is defined.
[0042]
A nonlinear control device that satisfies the equation (14) is designed as in the equations (15) to (18) of (Equation 8). Further, i p5 and i p7 are calculated from the equation (6).
[0043]
[Equation 8]
The important point to note here is that the on / off switching is corrected in (Equation 8). In this non-linear control, both the displacement x and the speed dx / dt are used.
[0044]
As shown in FIG. 3A, when the rotor moves to the left from the equilibrium point and (x> 0, dx / dt> 0), the control current is supplied only to the
[0045]
Further, as shown in FIG. 3B, when the rotor returns toward the equilibrium point (x> 0, dx / dt <0), the control current is supplied to both of the four
[0046]
In order to prove that the above-described nonlinear controller satisfies the formula (14), the formula (19) of the formula (9) is obtained by substituting the formulas (8) and (15) into the formula (14). Here, since a px > 1 is defined, Expression (19) is negatively definite (always negative). Therefore, the inequality of the equation (14) is proved, and it can be seen that the electromagnetic attraction type magnetic bearing by the nonlinear controller of the present invention is asymptotically stable.
[0047]
[Equation 9]
Furthermore, equations (20) to (22) can be derived from equations (15) and (8). Equation (20) shows a free vibration with a damper. The frequency is given by equation (21), and the damping ratio is given by equation (22). Therefore, the nonlinear controller of the present invention can be easily designed from these equations.
[0048]
Similarly to (Equation 8), the y-axis, θx-axis, and θy-axis can be derived as (Equation 10) and (Equation 11). As a result, the nonlinear control of the present invention adjusts 16 equations and 8 parameters. The parameters of the equations (23) to (34) are determined based on the equation (20).
[0049]
[Expression 10]
[0050]
## EQU11 ##
Hereinafter, simulation results will be described. The control characteristics according to the present invention were implemented using the parameters of (Equation 12). FIG. 4 shows the obtained response characteristics, FIG. 5 shows the x-axis control current, and FIG. 6 shows the Lyapunov function.
[0051]
[Expression 12]
It can be seen from FIG. 4 that the closed loop by the non-linear control of the present invention is stable and similar to free vibration with a damper. Moreover, it stabilizes in a very short time of about 0.02 sec. Therefore, it can be seen that the electromagnetic attraction type magnetic bearing by nonlinear control of the present invention is very stable and has excellent characteristics.
[0052]
Also, from FIG. 5, one of the opposing electromagnets is not always 0 as in the prior art, and the rotor returns toward the equilibrium point as shown in FIG. 3B (x> 0, dx / dt <0). Sometimes it can be seen that the control current is supplied to both opposing electromagnets, the force generated by one electromagnet acts as a tension spring force on the rotor, and the force generated by the opposite electromagnet acts as a damper. Thereby, even when returning from the deviation to the equilibrium point, the damping time can be applied to shorten the convergence time.
[0053]
Furthermore, it can be seen from FIG. 6 that the Lyapunov function exhibits a monotonic decrease and can completely satisfy the Lyapunov asymptotic stability condition, which is a sufficient condition of the control system.
[0054]
In addition, this invention is not limited to embodiment mentioned above, Of course, it can change variously in the range which does not deviate from the summary of this invention. For example, in the above-described embodiment, the axial direction is set to the vertical direction and the influence of gravity is ignored. However, an expression in which the axial direction is horizontal or oblique and the influence of gravity is taken into consideration can be similarly derived.
[0055]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, the electromagnetic attraction type magnetic bearing and the nonlinear control method thereof according to the present invention can reduce the convergence time by applying a damping force even when returning from the deviation to the equilibrium point, and is a sufficient condition of the control system. The asymptotic stability condition can be completely satisfied.
