E1(k+1)=E1(k)+λ・e1(k) …(4)

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a spread spectrum receiver employing a code division multiple access (CDMA) method using a spread spectrum modulation method, and in particular, using a transmission line in which frequency selective fading occurs. The present invention relates to a spread spectrum receiver that performs communication.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A conventional spread spectrum receiver will be described below. As a conventional spread spectrum receiver that adopts a CDMA method using a spread spectrum modulation method, for example, the document “DS-CDMA adaptive array antenna diversity indoor transmission experimental characteristics, IEICE Technical Report RCS98-94 p” .33-38 September 1998 ”,“ In-Room Experimental Characteristics of Coherent Rake Reception in Broadband DS-CDMA, IEICE Technical Report RCS99-129 p.57-62 October 1999 ”and the like.
[0003]
Here, based on the above document, the configuration and operation of a conventional spread spectrum receiver will be described. FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating a configuration of a conventional spread spectrum receiver. In FIG. 6, 500, 501,..., 502 are N (natural number) antennas, 510, 511,..., 512 are band pass filters (BPF), and 520, 521,. .., 532 are beam forming units that individually form beams from L (natural number) paths generated based on signals after despreading influenced by multipath waves. , 540 is a path detection unit, 550, 551,..., 552 are complex multipliers, 553 is a delay unit, 560 is a weight control unit, 561 is an addition unit, and 562 is A complex multiplier, 563 is a complex conjugate calculation unit, 564 is a subtracter, 565 is a complex multiplier, and 570 is a transmission path estimation unit that estimates a transmission path for each path. , 80,581, ..., 582, ..., 583 are delay units, 585 is an addition unit, 590 is a data decision section.

However, the denominator of the second term on the right side of Equation (1) represents the norm, and k is the sampling time (t = kTs: TsIs the sampling period) and X1(K) is a vector representation of the first path of each despread signal (X1(K) = [x1(1, k), x1(2, k), ..., x1(N, k)]T) And W1(K) is a vector representation of each weight for the first pass (w1(K) = [w1(1, k), w1(2, k), ..., w1(N, k)]T). W1The initial value of (k) is w1(0) = [1, 0, ..., 0]T, Μ represents a step size, and τ represents a delay time (delay amount).
[0020]
As described above, in the conventional spread spectrum receiver, beams are individually formed (using an adaptive algorithm) for L paths detected from received signals received by a plurality of antennas, that is, transmitted. By performing weighted combining (Rake combining) according to the path estimation value, the SIR (signal-to-interference wave power ratio) related to the desired signal is improved while directing null to the interference signal. In addition, the conventional spread spectrum receiving apparatus has a uniform position distribution of mobile stations in a cell that can be served by a base station, and the interference wave power of the beams formed in the path unit is the same. An ideal channel capacity can be obtained.
[0021]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above conventional spread spectrum receiver, the mobile station position is unevenly distributed instantaneously, or there are mobile stations with different transmission signal power due to different transmission speeds. When the interference wave powers of the beams to be treated cannot be regarded as the same, the SIR cannot be optimized and a good bit error rate characteristic cannot be obtained, so that there is a problem that an ideal channel capacity cannot be obtained.
[0022]
In the conventional spread spectrum receiver, when the mobile station to be communicated moves and the moving speed is high, it becomes difficult for the base station side to direct the beam to the mobile station with high accuracy. There was a problem.
[0023]
Also, in the initial state of forming a beam with an adaptive array antenna in a conventional spread spectrum receiver, the arrival direction of the multipath wave from the mobile station to the base station is not known, and a beam with sharp directivity cannot be formed. As described above, a path is selected using one antenna. However, when one antenna is used, there is a problem that path detection cannot be performed with high accuracy in a transmission line that is greatly affected by interference.
[0024]
Further, in the conventional spread spectrum receiving apparatus, as described above, when one antenna is used, a weight is set for each received signal. In this case, it takes a lot of time to form a beam based on the adaptive algorithm. On the transmitting side of the mobile station, until the beam formation is completed so that the required quality at the base station can be satisfied. A lot of transmission signal power is required. As a result, the base station side has a problem in that the interference power increases instantaneously and an ideal channel capacity cannot be obtained.
[0025]
The present invention has been made in view of the above, and provides a spread spectrum receiver capable of realizing good bit error rate characteristics even when the interference wave power of beams formed in units of paths cannot be regarded as the same. The purpose is to obtain.
[0026]
In addition, the present invention provides a spread spectrum receiver capable of accurately directing a beam to a mobile station even when the mobile station to be communicated moves and the moving speed is high. For the purpose.
[0027]
In addition, the present invention can perform path detection with high accuracy even when path selection is performed using one antenna, and can significantly reduce the time required to form a beam based on an adaptive algorithm. An object of the present invention is to obtain a spread spectrum receiving apparatus capable of
[0028]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problems and achieve the object, the spread spectrum receiver according to the present invention performs a despreading process on a signal received by a single antenna or a plurality of antennas, and vice versa. The data is demodulated based on the post-spread signal, and further, a plurality of multipath waves satisfying a predetermined standard are detected from the despread signal, and time-sequential position information of these paths And a plurality of beam forming means for forming a beam by an adaptive algorithm based on the time-series position information received for each path. (Corresponding to the
[0029]
In the spread spectrum receiver according to the next invention, the interference amount extraction means calculates the interference amount based on a known sequence added to the transmission signal.
[0030]
In the spread spectrum receiving apparatus according to the next invention, the path detecting means includes a plurality of beam generating means (corresponding to the multiple beam generating section 141) for generating a plurality of beams necessary for covering the service target area; Path detection that detects all paths having a power value equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold for each beam, and further normalizes the power value of the detected path based on the interference power calculated for each beam. Means (corresponding to beam-by-beam
[0031]
In the spread spectrum receiver according to the next invention, the beam forming means sets a weight at the time of beam formation by the plurality of beam generation means as an initial value of a weight required when forming a beam using the adaptive algorithm. It is characterized by using.
[0032]
In the spread spectrum receiver according to the next invention, the adaptive algorithm calculates an error signal by subtracting the received signal from a reference signal generated from the determination result, and further assigns a weighting coefficient to the error signal. A new error signal is generated by performing the integration processing used.
[0033]

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the mobile station position is unevenly distributed instantaneously, or there are mobile stations having different transmission signal power due to different transmission speeds. Even if the interference wave powers of the beams cannot be considered the same, the signal after weighting / phase fluctuation removal is combined after weighting according to the amount of interference, that is, after normalization, so SIR is optimal. And good bit error rate characteristics can be obtained. As a result, it is possible to obtain a spread spectrum receiver capable of realizing an ideal channel capacity.
[0079]
According to the next invention, since the weighting process according to the interference amount is performed, the SIR can be optimized. As a result, it is possible to obtain a spread spectrum receiver capable of realizing good bit error rate characteristics.
[0080]
According to the next invention, in the initial state in which the beam is formed by the adaptive array antenna, the service target area is covered using a plurality of beams having predetermined directivities and the path based on the interference power is used. Since the interference power in the beam is suppressed by performing the detection, for example, it is possible to obtain a spread spectrum receiving apparatus capable of performing path detection with high accuracy even in a transmission path having a large influence of interference. Play.
[0081]
According to the next invention, in the initial state of beam formation after path detection, beam identification for identifying which beam of the plurality of beams having the predetermined directivity is path information. The weight at the time of beam formation by the multiple beam generation means is set as the initial value of the adaptive antenna weight using the information. As a result, the arrival direction of the multipath can be known, so that it is possible to significantly reduce the time until the beam is formed as compared with the conventional technique in which the weight is determined from the state where the arrival direction of the multipath is not known. There is an effect that a spread spectrum receiver can be obtained.
[0082]
According to the next invention, since the characteristic can be emphasized by performing the integration process using the weighting coefficient on the error signal, the mobile station to be communicated moves, and its moving speed Even in the case of high speed, it is possible to obtain a spread spectrum receiver capable of directing a beam with high accuracy to a mobile station.
