Description

The present invention relates to a frame for transporting a plate glass, a glass substrate and a color filter substrate used in a liquid crystal display device which is a processed product thereof.

Conventionally, when storing and transporting a color filter substrate on which projections such as a black matrix, a colored layer, a transparent conductive film layer and a spacer are formed on the surface of a glass substrate which is a plate glass, a glass substrate and its processed product, In order to protect the glass substrate from scratches and breakage, a box-shaped storage container that can store the glass substrates in parallel at a predetermined interval is used so that the glass substrates do not contact each other.
JP 2002-264992 A

However, recently, manufacture of large glass substrates has been required, and if these are stored at predetermined intervals in a box-shaped storage container as in the past, a larger storage container and storage space are required, There has been a problem that the glass substrate edge is damaged by coming off from the groove due to vibration during transportation or buckling due to its own weight, resulting in contact with the adjacent glass substrate in the box.

The present invention protects processed products such as large glass plates, glass substrates and color filter substrates from scratches and damage during transportation, and provides a platform that is advantageous for transporting processed products such as large glass plates, glass substrates and color filter substrates. It is to provide.

The present invention can be attached to a floor member, a pressurizing body capable of pressing the object to be transported loaded on the floor member toward the floor member, the floor member, and an end of the object to be transported. An enclosure member provided on the side of the floor member and the pressure body that supports the object to be conveyed, and a honeycomb panel that supports the entire surface of the object to be conveyed. Is a gantry characterized in that it has an upper surface member that faces the floor member and pressurizes the entire surface of the object to be conveyed.

The gantry of the present invention is equipped with a large number of large glass plates, glass substrates or processed products thereof, and can support and transport the entire surface of the glass substrate uniformly. Can be prevented from rubbing between the substrate and the separation body, the conveyance efficiency is good, and damages such as scratches and defects on the substrate surface can be avoided.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
1 to 4 are explanatory views of the glass substrate transport gantry 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 1 is a side view of the glass substrate transport gantry 1 (the enclosing member in front is 2 is a front view of the glass substrate transport gantry 1, FIG. 3 is a plan view of the glass substrate transport gantry 1, and FIG. 4 shows the arm of the glass substrate transport gantry 1 of FIG. It is a side view in the standing state (the enclosure member in the near side is not illustrated). 5 and 6 are explanatory views showing an example of a method of connecting the enclosure members of the glass substrate transport platform 1 of FIG.

1 includes a floor member 3 and a support member 7 provided perpendicular to the floor member 3 as a gantry body, and the floor member 3 and the support member 7 are fixed by welding or the like. . The floor member 3 and the support member 7 each have a shape having a plurality of support columns in a quadrangular frame, and the floor member 3 has leg portions that are useful for work on a forklift or the like. A glass substrate 21 is loaded on the floor member 3, and a pressure body having an upper surface member 5 is provided opposite to the floor member 3, and the glass substrate 21 is sandwiched and supported by the floor member 3 and the pressure body.
The upper surface member 5 of FIG. 1 has a rectangular plate shape and is provided at the end of the arm 23. The arm 23 is rotatably provided on the support member 7 by a hinge 9. FIG. 4 shows a state where the arm 23 and the upper surface member 5 are erected.

The surrounding member 11 is provided on the floor member 3 in contact with the end of the glass substrate 21. The enclosure member 11 is connected to the floor member 3. It is preferable from the viewpoint of work that the enclosure member 11 is easily connected and detached. For example, as shown in FIG. 5, a hole 25 is provided in the floor member 3, and a hook 27 that engages with the hole 25 is provided in the surrounding member 11, and the hook 27 is engaged with the hole 25 as shown in FIG. Then, the enclosure member 11 is connected to the floor member 3. The enclosing member 11 is provided avoiding the corners of the glass substrate 21. The enclosing member 9 has a rectangular frame shape.

It is preferable to provide rubber 17 on the surfaces of the supporting member 7 and the enclosing member 11 that are in contact with the ends of the glass substrate 21. Thereby, the impact at the time of transportation and the irregularity of the glass substrate 21 can be absorbed. The rubber preferably has a thickness of 3 mm to 10 mm and a hardness of 30 HS to 70 HS.

Honeycomb panels 13 and 15 are disposed on the support surface of the floor member 3 and the glass substrate 21 of the pressurized body, respectively. In the present invention, it is particularly important to sandwich the glass substrate 21 with a surface that is difficult to bend, and the honeycomb panel is less likely to be twisted or bent, and the glass substrate 21 is supported on the entire surface and is pressed with a partial bias. Can be prevented. The thickness of the honeycomb panel is not particularly limited, but is preferably 50 mm or less.

In the glass substrate transport platform 1 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the pressurizing body is the upper surface member 5. The upper surface member 5 is placed on the glass substrate 21, and the glass substrate 21 is pressed and supported by the weight of the upper surface member 5.

After the honeycomb panel 15 and the enclosure member 11 are arranged at three locations on the floor member 3, the glass substrate 21 is mounted, the honeycomb panel 13 is arranged, the upper surface member 5 is placed on the honeycomb panel 13, and the weight of the upper surface member 5 is reduced. Thus, the entire surface of the glass substrate 21 is pressurized and supported by the honeycomb panel 13 by pressing.

The surface pressure when supporting the glass substrate 21 under pressure is preferably 500 g / cm 2 or less, particularly preferably 200 to 300 g / cm 2 .

The floor member 3, the upper surface member 5, the support member 7, and the enclosure member 11 are not particularly limited in material as long as the rigidity is sufficient, but in terms of strength and weight, the cross section is L-shaped steel or metal. It is particularly preferable that the square pipe is used in the form of a frame. In this embodiment, a frame-like member is used, but a planar member may be used.

The glass substrate 21 is a plate glass, a glass substrate and a processed product thereof, and a color filter substrate and a color filter substrate provided with a protective layer on the surface can also be used. The glass substrate 21 is not particularly limited in size, but can be suitably used as a substrate having a length of each side of 0.5 m to 2.5 m. Further, the number of stored sheets is preferably about 1 to 500. When the glass substrate 21 is mounted on the gantry, it is preferable to use a separating body made of paper, a resin film, a sponge sheet or the like between the adjacent glass substrates 21 in order to avoid contact between the glass substrates 21.

Further, when the glass substrate 21 is mounted on or transported to the gantry, the gantry body may be tilted so that the glass substrate 21 is tilted to less than 45 degrees with respect to the horizontal plane. However, the floor member 3 and the support member 7 are vertical.

Thus, according to the present embodiment, the honeycomb panel 13 can be pressed against the glass substrate 21 by its own weight of the upper surface member 5, and the entire surface of the glass substrate can be uniformly supported and transported. It is possible to avoid damages such as scratches and defects on the substrate surface.

Next, a glass substrate transport gantry 41 according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described.
The glass substrate transport platform 41 according to the second embodiment is different from the glass substrate transport platform 1 according to the first embodiment in the glass substrate pressing mechanism.
Components having the same functions as those of the glass substrate transport platform 1 according to the first embodiment, which are components of the glass substrate transport platform 41 according to the second embodiment, are denoted by the same reference numerals. Detailed description will be omitted.

FIGS. 7-9 is explanatory drawing of the mount 41 for glass substrate transport which concerns on the 2nd Embodiment of this invention, FIG. 7 is a side view of the mount 41 for glass substrate transport (the enclosure member in the front is a figure) FIG. 8 is a plan view of the glass substrate transport platform 41 according to the second embodiment, and FIG. 9 is a part of the view in the direction of arrow A in FIG.

In the glass substrate transport platform 41 shown in FIGS. 7 to 9, the pressurizing body includes a pressing portion that presses the upper surface member 5 against the glass substrate 21 and the upper surface member 5. In the pressing portion, the arm 23 presses the upper surface member 5 and presses the glass substrate 21. As shown in FIGS. 7 and 9, the support member 7 is provided with a support body 45 and a screw 43, and by rotating the screw 43, the end of the arm 23 is pushed up, and the other end of the arm 23 pushes the upper surface member 5. The glass substrate 21 is pressed and supported. When a plurality of screws 43 are provided, it is preferable to rotate the screws 43 at once in order to uniformly pressurize the entire surface of the glass substrate 21.

Then, the entire surface of the glass substrate 21 is pressed and supported by the honeycomb panel 13 by pushing the upper surface member 5 downward in FIG. By rotating a plurality of screws in a lump, the entire surface of the glass substrate 21 is pressed evenly. The number and arrangement of the screws are not particularly limited, but are set so as to press the entire surface of the glass substrate 21 evenly.

Thus, according to the present embodiment, even when the weight of the upper surface member 5 is insufficient, the entire surface of the glass substrate is uniformly supported by pressing the honeycomb panel 13 against the glass substrate 21 using screws. Therefore, it is possible to avoid a damage such as a scratch or a defect on the surface of the substrate.

After the honeycomb panel 15 is arranged on the floor member 3, the glass substrate 21 is mounted, the honeycomb panel 13, the enclosure member 11, and the upper surface member 5 are arranged, air is collectively put into a plurality of air springs 33, and the honeycomb panel 13 The glass substrate 21 can be pressed and supported by pressing down in FIG. By putting air into the plurality of air springs 33 at once, the entire surface of the glass substrate 21 is pressurized evenly. An air cylinder can be used instead of the air spring 33. The number and arrangement of the air springs are not particularly limited, but are set so as to press the entire surface of the glass substrate 21 evenly.

As described above, according to the third embodiment, by pressing the honeycomb panel 13 against the glass substrate 21 using the air spring 33, the entire surface of the glass substrate can be uniformly supported and transported. Therefore, the conveyance efficiency is good, and damage such as scratches or defects on the substrate surface can be avoided.
