Claims (2)
- アルコールを混合した混合燃料を使用可能な内燃機関の制御装置であって、
蒸発燃料を蓄えるキャニスタと前記内燃機関の吸気系とを接続するパージ通路を開閉制御して、前記吸気系へパージされる蒸発燃料のパージ量を制御するパージ制御手段と、
前記内燃機関の排気空燃比を検出する排気空燃比検出手段と、
前記排気空燃比検出手段で検出された排気空燃比を目標空燃比に近づけるように前記内燃機関をフィードバック制御する空燃比フィードバック制御手段と、
給油があり、かつ給油後の積算燃料消費量が所定量以下であるときに、混合燃料中のアルコール濃度の推定を許可する推定許可期間であると判断する期間判定手段と、
前記期間判定手段により前記推定許可期間中であると判断された場合であって、前記空燃比フィードバック制御手段の作動中であり、かつ、前記パージ制御手段により蒸発燃料のパージがカットされている場合に、前記排気空燃比検出手段により検出される排気空燃比に基づいて混合燃料のアルコール濃度を推定するアルコール濃度推定手段とを備え、
前記パージ制御手段は、前記推定許可期間中であると判断された場合に、パージカット時のテーリング度合いを前記推定許可期間中以外の設定から前記内燃機関の運転状態に応じて決定される設定へ変更し、前記推定許可期間中に前記蒸発燃料のパージがカットされるとき、前記内燃機関の負荷が高くかつ回転数が高い運転領域では、前記パージが大きいテーリング度合いでカットされるよう制御するとともに、前記内燃機関の負荷が低くかつ回転数が低い運転領域では、前記パージが前記大きいテーリング度合いよりも小さいテーリング度合いでカットされるよう制御することを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記アルコール濃度推定手段が、前記蒸発燃料のパージがカットされてから所定時間が経過した後にアルコール濃度の推定を開始することを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
