Description
Claims (18)
- 相対的に回転するようにスリーブおよび軸を支持する流体力学的軸受において、
前記軸が、前記軸に沿って離隔した1対の円錐部を有し、また
前記スリーブは、
1対の軸受座面を有する軸受座部材と、該軸受座部材の外表面上の断熱領域層とを含み、
前記1対の軸受座面のうちの一方が、前記円錐部の各々と協働して前記円錐部と前記軸受座面の間に、相対回転のために前記スリーブと前記軸を支持する流体を包含する間隙を画成しており、
前記断熱領域層が、前記軸および前記軸受座部材に対する断熱を行なって、低温度環境中であっても前記流体力学的軸受を保温状態に保つためのものである、流体力学的軸受。 - 前記断熱領域層が、円周方向のセラミック層を含む請求項1に記載された流体力学的軸受。
- 前記軸受座部材がステンレス鋼を含み、前記軸がステンレス鋼を含む請求項1に記載された流体力学的軸受。
- 前記断熱領域層が、径方向と、前記軸受座部材の外表面に沿う軸線方向とに延長するエア・ギャップを含む請求項1に記載された流体力学的軸受。
- 前記エア・ギャップが、前記軸受座面および前記円錐部の間の領域に沿って軸線方向に延長するが、前記軸受座面および前記円錐部の前記領域に径方向で重なり合うことがない請求項4に記載された流体力学的軸受。
- 前記断熱領域層が、エンジニアリング・プラスチックを含む円筒形シールドを含む請求項1に記載された流体力学的軸受。
- 前記軸受座部材がステンレス鋼を含み、前記スリーブにハブが付設され、該ハブがアルミニウムを含む請求項4に記載された流体力学的軸受。
- 前記軸受座部材がステンレス鋼を含み、前記軸がステンレス鋼を含む請求項4に記載された流体力学的軸受。
- ディスク駆動装置で使用するためのスピンドル・モーターにおいて、
該スピンドル・モーターが、軸と、スリーブと、該スリーブによって支持されるとともに1枚または複数のディスクを支持するハブとを含み、
前記軸と前記スリーブが、相対回転のために流体力学的軸受によって支持され、
前記軸が、前記軸に沿って離隔した1対の円錐部を有し、さらに
前記スリーブは、
1対の軸受座面を有する軸受座部材と、該軸受座部材の外表面上の断熱領域層とを含み、
前記1対の軸受座面のうちの一方が、前記円錐部の各々と協働して前記円錐部と前記軸受座面の間に、相対回転のために前記スリーブと前記軸を支持する流体を包含する間隙を画成しており、
前記断熱領域層が、前記軸および前記軸受座部材に対する断熱を行なって、低温度環境中であっても前記流体力学的軸受を保温状態に保つためのものである、スピンドル・モーター。 - 前記断熱領域層が、円周方向のセラミック層を含む請求項9に記載されたスピンドル・モーター。
- 前記軸受座部材がステンレス鋼を含み、前記軸がステンレス鋼を含む請求項9に記載されたスピンドル・モーター。
- 前記断熱領域層が、径方向と、前記軸受座部材の外表面に沿って軸線方向とに延長するエア・ギャップを含む請求項9に記載されたスピンドル・モーター。
- 前記エア・ギャップが、前記軸受座面および前記円錐部の間の領域に沿って軸線方向に延長するが、前記軸受座面および前記円錐部の前記領域に径方向で重なり合うことがない請求項12に記載されたスピンドル・モーター。
- 前記断熱領域層が、エンジニアリング・プラスチックを含む円筒形シールドを含む、請求項9に記載されたスピンドル・モーター。
- 前記軸受座部材がステンレス鋼を含み、前記ハブがアルミニウムを含む請求項12に記載されたスピンドル・モーター。
- ハウジングと、基部と、少なくとも1枚のディスクを回転のために支持するスピンドル・モーターとを含むディスク駆動装置において、
前記スピンドル・モーターが、前記ディスクを回転のために支持する流体を含む流体力学的軸受手段と、周囲環境から前記流体力学的軸受を断熱する手段とを含み、該断熱する手段が、前記流体と前記ハブの間で径方向に介在する円周方向の断熱層を含むディスク駆動装置。 - 前記断熱手段が、円周方向のセラミック層を含む請求項16に記載されたディスク駆動装置。
- 前記断熱手段が、モーター軸を回転のために支持するスリーブと、前記ディスクを回転のために支持するハブとの間のエア・ギャップを含む請求項16に記載されたディスク駆動装置。
