Claims (8)
- コーティングされた物品(20)であって、当該物品(20)が、
基材組成を有する金属基材(26)と、
前記金属基材(26)を被覆し且つ接触する厚さ76.2〜381μm(0.003〜0.015インチ)の金属コーティング(28)であって、金属コーティング(28)が前記基材組成とは異なる金属コーティング組成を有していて、アルミニウム含量10重量未満のニッケル基超合金であり、前記基材(26)が、以前に金属コーティング(28)無しで使用されていたガスタービンエンジンの構成部品であり、金属コーティングによって基材の元の厚さが復元されている、金属コーティング(28)と、
前記金属コーティング(28)を被覆し且つ接触する保護コーティング(30)であって、前記保護コーティング(30)が、前記金属コーティング(28)を被覆し且つ接触するアルミナイド層(32)を含んでおり、該アルミナイド層(32)が少なくとも16重量%のアルミニウム含量を有する白金族金属アルミナイド層(32)である、保護コーティング(30)と
を備える、物品(20)。 - 前記基材組成が、ニッケル基合金及びコバルト基合金からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の物品(20)
- 前記保護コーティング(30)が、前記アルミナイド層(32)を被覆し且つ接触するセラミック遮熱コーティング(36)を更に備える、請求項1に記載の物品(20)。
- 前記アルミナイド層(32)が12.7〜101.6μm(0.0005〜0.004インチ)の厚みを有する、請求項1に記載の物品(20)。
- 物品(20)の重要寸法を復元し且つ該物品を保護するための方法であって、
以前に使用されていた物品(20)であって、以前の使用の結果として重要寸法が最小許容寸法値を下回り、基材組成を有する金属基材(26)として機能する物品(20)を準備する段階と、
前記基材組成とは異なる金属コーティング組成を有する厚さ76.2〜381μm(0.003〜0.015インチ)の金属コーティング(28)であって、ニッケル基超合金である金属コーティング(28)を、前記金属基材(26)を被覆し且つ接触するように被着させて基材の元の厚さを復元する段階と、
前記金属コーティング(28)を被覆し且つ接触する保護コーティング(30)を被着させる段階と、
を含んでおり、前記金属コーティング(28)と前記保護コーティング(30)とを併せた厚みが、前記重要寸法を前記最小許容寸法値以上に増大させるのに十分な復元厚みであり、前記保護コーティング(30)が前記金属コーティングを被覆し且つ接触するアルミナイド層(32)を含んでおり、該アルミナイド層(32)が少なくとも16重量%のアルミニウム含量を有する白金族金属アルミナイド層(32)である、方法。 - 前記物品(20)を準備する段階が、ニッケル基合金及びコバルト基合金からなる群から選択される前記基材組成を有する物品(20)を準備する段階を含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記金属コーティング(28)を被着させる段階が、アルミニウム含量10重量未満のニッケル基超合金である金属コーティング(28)を被着させる段階を含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記保護コーティング(30)を被着させる段階が、前記アルミナイド層(32)を被覆し且つ接触するセラミック遮熱コーティング(36)を更に被着させる段階を含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
