Description
以下、実施例について説明する。実施例として、図1に示す処理装置1を用い、低C/N比有機性廃棄物としての生ごみ(含水率80重量%、C/N比12.2)10t/日に木質廃材のチップを爆砕処理した爆砕処理物10t/日(含水率30重量%、C/N比205)を混合した混合物(含水率55重量%、C/N比43、温度70℃)を処理した。爆砕処理物は、直径が3〜30mmの廃材のチップを耐圧容器112に入れ、温度226℃の水蒸気を供給してゲージ内圧2.5Mpa、温度226℃で、2分加熱処理したのち、急激に大気圧開放して得た。爆砕処理物は、温度120〜150℃に降温した状態で常温の生ごみと混合して混合物として発酵槽13に投入した。発酵槽13での処理条件は以下の通りである。

発酵槽内の固形汚泥量;610t
VS負荷 ;13〜20kg−VS/m3・日
引き抜き発酵残渣量 ;16t/日
返送発酵残渣量 ;20〜600t/日
比較例として、爆砕処理物に代えて幅0.1〜2cmに裁断した古紙を生ごみと混合した混合物を被処理物としたほかは実施例と同様にして乾式メタン発酵を行なった。実施例と比較例について、VS負荷、混合物の分解速度、発酵槽容積、および混合物のガス化量を表1に示す。

Claims (5)
- 有機性廃棄物を乾式メタン発酵させる有機性廃棄物の処理方法であって、
前記有機性廃棄物は、草木系有機性廃棄物の爆砕処理物を60〜150℃の状態で、C/N比が4〜20である有機性廃棄物と混合して得られるC/N比20〜60の混合物であり、
前記有機性廃棄物を45〜60℃で乾式メタン発酵させることを特徴とする有機性廃棄物の処理方法。 - 前記有機性廃棄物は、前記処理により得られる発酵残渣をさらに含む請求項1に記載の有機性廃棄物の処理方法
- 前記爆砕処理物は、直径が0.5〜5mmの固形物である請求項1または2に記載の有機性廃棄物の処理方法。
- 前記処理により得られる発酵残渣を堆肥化、炭化、または焼却する請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の有機性廃棄物の処理方法。
- 草木系有機性廃棄物を爆砕処理して爆砕処理物を得る爆砕処理手段と、
C/N比が4〜20である有機性廃棄物と、60〜150℃の前記爆砕処理物と、を混合してC/N比20〜60の混合物を得る混合手段と、
前記混合物を45〜60℃で乾式メタン発酵させる発酵処理手段と、を有する有機性廃棄物の処理装置。
