Description
Claims (9)
- 不連続伝送(DTX)モード能力を有する1次チャネルおよび2次チャネルを採用する無線通信システムにおいて、前記2次チャネルのための外側ループ電力制御を行う方法であって、
前記1次チャネルと前記2次チャネルの両方で送られるデータ・フレームのフレーム順序番号情報を包含する無線リンク・プロトコル(RLP)情報を前記1次チャネル上で受信する工程と、
前記RLP情報に基づいて、前記2次チャネルにおける前記RLP情報に関連する1つまたは複数のフレームがイレーシャまたはDTXフレームとして受信されたかどうかを判定する工程と、
前記判定工程に従って前記2次チャネルの電力制御のための指定されたサービス品質に関係するしきい値を調節する工程と
を備える方法。 - 前記判定工程は、前記フレーム順序番号に間隙があるかどうかを判定する工程をさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記判定工程は、前記検出工程が前記受信したフレーム順序番号の間隙を検出した場合、誤りとともに受信されるデータ・フレームであるイレーシャが受信されたかどうかを判定する工程をさらに含み、前記方法がさらに、
前記しきい値を調節するために失われたフレームのフレーム順序番号とともに、送信電力の増大によって満足される修正されたしきい値を指定する否定応答(NACK)を送る工程をさらに備える請求項2に記載の方法。 - 不連続伝送(DTX)モード能力を有する1次チャネルおよび2次チャネルを採用する無線通信システムにおいて、前記2次チャネルのための送信電力を制御する方法であって、
前記1次チャネル上で、フレーム順序番号を含む無線リンク・プロトコル(RLP)情報を含むフレームを送信する工程と、
前記送信されたRLP情報に応答して受信した応答メッセージに基づいて前記フレームが送信された前記2次チャネルの送信電力を調節する工程と
を備える方法。 - 前記送信工程が、その中にデータを包含する各フレームにフレーム順序番号を付加する工程を含み、データなしで送信されるフレームがフレーム順序番号なしで送信されるDTXフレームであり、
前記調節工程が、否定応答(NACK)が受信された場合に送信電力を上げる工程をさらに含み、前記NACKが、検出されたイレーシャのインスタンスを表し、イレーシャが、誤りとともに受信されるデータをその中に含有するフレームを指示し、前記イレーシャが、複数の受信されたフレーム順序番号に検出された間隙によって表わされる請求項4に記載の方法。 - 不連続伝送(DTX)モード能力を有する1次チャネルおよび2次チャネルを採用する無線通信システムにおいて、検出するDTXフレームを含む前記2次チャネルのための外側ループ電力制御方法であって、
フレーム順序番号を含む無線リンク・プロトコル(RLP)情報を前記1次チャネル上で受信する工程と、
前記RLP情報に基づいて、前記RLP情報に関連する1つまたは複数のフレームがイレーシャまたはDTXフレームとして受信されたかどうかを判定する工程と、
前記判定工程に従って前記2次チャネルの電力制御のための指定されたサービス品質に関係するしきい値を調節する工程と
を備える方法。 - 前記判定工程が、前記フレーム順序番号に間隙があるかどうかを検出する工程をさらに含み、前記検出工程が間隙を検出した場合、イレーシャが受信されており、イレーシャが誤りとともに受信されるデータ・フレームであり、前記方法はさらに、
前記2次チャネルにおける失われたフレームのフレーム順序番号とともに、前記2次チャネル上で送信電力の増大によって満足される修正されたしきい値を指定する否定応答(NACK)を送る工程と
をさらに備える請求項6に記載の方法。 - 2次通信チャネル上で受信したフレームの不連続伝送(DTX)フレームを検出する方法であって、
1次チャネル上で、フレーム順序番号を含む無線リンク・プロトコル(RLP)情報を受信する工程と、
前記RLP情報に基づいて、前記RLP情報に関連する1つまたは複数のフレームがイレーシャまたはDTXフレームとして受信されたかを判定する工程とを備え、
前記1次チャネルで受信した前記RLP情報は前記1つまたは複数のフレームのフレーム順序番号を包含し、
前記判定工程はさらに、前記受信したフレーム順序番号に間隙があるかどうかを検出する工程をさらに含み、そして、
前記検出工程が前記RLP情報に間隙およびフレーム順序番号を検出しない場合、DTXフレームが受信されていることを判定する工程をさらに含み、前記DTXフレームがデータなしで送られるフレームである、方法。 - 前記DTXフレームが受信されていることを判定する工程はさらに、前記検出工程が間隙を検出した場合、イレーシャが受信されており、イレーシャが誤りとともに受信されるデータ・フレームである、請求項8に記載の方法。
