Description

The present invention relates to a transformer of a non-contact power transmission device that transmits electric power from a power transmitting device to a power receiving device in a non-contact manner without using a metal contact to a rechargeable battery used as a power source for a cordless telephone or a portable device. About.

FIG. 8 shows a non-contact power transmission apparatus using a self-excited oscillation circuit as a power transmission unit as a circuit system with a simple circuit configuration and low power consumption.
In the figure, a power transmission side 10 which is a power transmission device includes a power transmission unit including a power transmission transformer T of a power transmission coil L1 and a drive coil L2 for self-excited oscillation, and a switching element Q1 for turning on and off current. A certain power receiving side 20 includes a power receiving coil L3 and a rectifying and smoothing circuit, and includes a charging control circuit and a rechargeable battery not shown in the drawing. And it arrange | positions so that the winding surface of the power transmission coil L1 and the winding surface of the receiving coil L3 may oppose to the separable housing | casing, and power transmission is comprised.

In such a configuration, FIG. 9 shows an arrangement of a power transmission transformer T provided with a power transmission coil L1 and a drive coil L2 in the power transmission unit of the mobile device 10 and a power reception coil L3 of the mobile device 20. The power transmission coil L1 is an air-core coil using a self-bonding wire, and the drive coil L2 is a printed coil formed in the same manner as the circuit pattern on the same substrate P1 surface as the peripheral circuit, and the winding surface of the printed coil And the winding surface of the air-core coil which is a power transmission coil is being fixed with the adhesive etc. on both sides of the board | substrate. The power receiving coil L3 has an air-core coil made of the same self-bonding wire as that of the power transmitting coil L1 attached to the substrate P2, and its winding surface is arranged on the bottom side of the housing. Patent Document 1 describes a method of transmitting power from the power transmission device 10 to the portable device 20 so that the winding surface of L3 and the winding surface of the power transmission coil L1 face each other.

In this method, when the input is a low input specification of direct current voltage (DC), a large current flows through both the power transmission coil L1 and the drive coil L2, so that there is a problem that the loss is increased in the case where it is formed by a printed coil. Further, when used in a resonant circuit of a ringing choke converter (RCC) which is another self-excited oscillation circuit, the drive coil L2 uses a MOSFET as the switching element Q1, and therefore a drive voltage higher than the gate threshold voltage of the MOSFET is required. In order to form with a printed coil, the number of turns must be increased, and the printed coil itself becomes larger, making it difficult to put it into practical use. Furthermore, when used in the collector resonance circuit, if the power transmission coil L1 is provided on the opposite surface of the printed coil L2 across the circuit board, the coupling between the power transmission coil L1 and the drive coil L2 is deteriorated by the thickness of the board. It is necessary to increase the number of turns, and in order to form with a printed coil, the number of turns must be increased, and the printed coil itself becomes larger, making it difficult to put it to practical use.

In order to solve these problems, a method of attaching an air core coil as a drive coil on the opposite surface of the power transmission coil across the board is also conceivable. However, in terms of workability and connection reliability such as connection of winding terminals, etc. It was less practical than lacking.

An object of the present invention is to provide a power transmission transformer in consideration of mounting workability and connection reliability in a non-contact power transmission device using each self-excited oscillation circuit in view of the above points.

As shown in FIG. 3, the power transmission transformer T3 first winds the drive coil L2 around the winding shaft 1b of the bobbin 1 with a predetermined number of turns using a urethane-coated conductor. At this time, the winding start lead L2a of the drive coil L2 is drawn out to the outside from the slit 4 provided in the flange 2, after tying the binding terminal S4a lead L2b winding end at the winding completion, the winding start lead L2a other It is bound to the binding terminal S3a. The power transmission coil L1 is an air-core coil using a self-bonding wire. The power transmission coil L1 is inserted into the winding shaft 1a of the first bobbin 1, and the winding surface of the flange surface and the air-core coil are fixed by bonding. To do. At this time, the winding start lead L1a of the power transmission coil L1 is pulled out from the slit 4 provided in the collar 2, and the winding end lead L1b is tied to the binding terminal S1a. All terminals are immersed in the static solder layer and electrically connected.

The drive coil L2 has a predetermined number of turns and a pair of an insulating wire 9 made of resin and an insulating film conductor 8 as shown in FIG. 5 (a), and an insulating wire and an insulating film as shown in FIG. 5 (b). The conductor is wound into a uniform winding so that the drive coil is a space winding. By doing in this way, coupling | bonding with a power transmission coil can be strengthened rather than close_contact | adherence winding.
Also, in the air-core coils of the drive coils of the first to third embodiments, a coil in which an insulating wire and an insulating film conductor are wound together in a spiral shape and hardened with a thermoplastic fusible varnish or the like. It may be used.

Next, FIG. 6 shows a power transmission coil T4 of another embodiment.
This is an embodiment for suppressing loss due to eddy current because unnecessary radiation from a power transmission coil or a circuit pattern of an external substrate and a magnetic field component are orthogonal.
As shown in FIG. 6 , in terms of configuration, in the power transmission transformers T1, T2, and T3 described in the first, second, and third embodiments, is the winding surface on the bottom side of the drive coil L2 substantially the same as the outer diameter of the rod? Alternatively, a large magnetic sheet 7 is provided.

This magnetic sheet 7 is made of a magnetic powder and a rubber material (insulating layer). As a combination of these materials, an Fe—Si—Al alloy (flat shape) and a polyethylene thermoplastic elastomer (NEC TOKIN Corporation product “ Bastareide "), Mn / Zn ferrite and EPDM (product of TDK Co., Ltd." Flexshield (IV-M) ") and the like are used. Further, instead of these products, other radio wave absorbers having the same radio wave absorption effect may be used.
By doing in this way, a circuit pattern can also be provided on the surface of the external substrate on which the power transmission transformer is placed, and further miniaturization and unnecessary radiation can be suppressed.

Shows an arrangement for coupling tightly fitted the bobbin 1 and the bobbin 2 in FIG.
The fitting portion 3 of the first bobbin is provided with a slit 3b and a projection 3a at the tip of the opposing surface, and the fitting hole 6 of the second bobbin corresponds to the projection 3a of the fitting hole of the first bobbin. By providing the recess 6a, the rotation with the first bobbin is suppressed, and the combination is facilitated by the slit 3b, and the present invention is not limited to this embodiment. In addition, grooves and protrusions may be provided for preventing misalignment and preventing slippage.

As described above, since the power transmission transformer of the non-contact power transmission device of the present invention is configured using a bobbin, the bobbin is thickened to a predetermined thickness to deepen the coupling between the transmission coil and the drive coil. The number of turns is reduced, and the number of turns of the drive coil is arbitrarily set to increase the coupling. Furthermore, it is possible to facilitate or to attach the fitting portion of the first bobbin to direct the circuit board, the mounting to the circuit board by fitting the first bobbin and the second bobbin. Furthermore, by providing the magnetic sheet between the drive coil and the circuit board, it is possible to suppress oscillation noise and prevent eddy current loss with the circuit pattern.
Thus, the power transmission transformer of the non-contact power transmission apparatus of the present invention can achieve mounting workability and connection reliability by using the first bobbin and the second bobbin.
