Description
すなわち、請求項1に係るフィルタ装置は、所定の選択度をもたらすための固有部分を有すると共に周波数応答を決定するための適応部分を有するフィルタ手段と、前記周波数応答を変化させるように前記適応部分を制御するための制御手段と、を有し、前記制御手段は、誤差関数の2次統計量に基づいてフィルタ係数調整プロシージャをもたらすことを特徴とする。
また、請求項7に係るフィルタリング方法は、a)所定のフィルタ選択度をもたらすようにフィルタ特性の所定のゼロ値をセットする設定ステップと、b)周波数応答適応をもたらすように前記フィルタ特性の極値を変化させるためにフィルタパラメータを制御する制御ステップと、c)フィルタ入力部及び出力部によって抽出される統計量に基づいて信号対雑音比を推定する推定ステップと、を有するフィルタリング方法であって、信号帯域幅推定値が、平衡状態におけるフィルタ係数により得られる値と前記推定信号対雑音比からもたらされることを特徴とする。
a) 信号はオーバサンプリングされ、
b) 雑音はナイキスト(Nyquist)帯域幅になる。
等式(5)の次の適用の結果、{αi}に対する値は時間で変化させられるので、1次フィルタ及び2次フィルタに対して後に示されるように、極についての条件は、フィルタ安定性を保持するように課されなければならない。
更に、1よりも高い次数のフィルタが考慮されるとき、異なる極の間の制約は、複雑さを低減するようにみなされ得る。
図2は、可能なUMTS用途のためにうまく調整(適応)されるチャネル推定フィルタ40の実施例として、一つの極を備えると共に1に等しくなる予測長を備えるディジタルフィルタのフィルタの機能ブロック図を示しており、最も低い複雑さを備える解決策も表している。

- 所定の選択度をもたらすための固有部分を有すると共に、周波数応答を決定するための適応部分を有するフィルタ手段と、
前記周波数応答を変化させるように前記適応部分を制御するための制御手段と、
を有し、
前記制御手段は、誤差関数の2次統計量に基づいてフィルタ係数調整プロシージャをもたらすことを特徴とするフィルタ装置。 - 通信システムの受信器におけるチャネル推定のために使用される請求項1に記載のフィルタ装置。
- 前記フィルタ手段は、ワイヤレス通信システムの共通パイロットチャネルにフィルタ動作をもたらす請求項1又は2に記載のフィルタ装置。
- 前記制御手段は、ゼロ定数を保持する一方、前記フィルタ手段の少なくとも一つの極を変化させることによって前記周波数応答を変化させる請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載のフィルタ装置。
- 前記フィルタ手段にもたらされる信号における周波数オフセットを推定するための周波数オフセット推定手段を更に有する請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載のフィルタ装置。
- 前記周波数オフセット推定手段の出力信号に基づいて前記出力信号における前記周波数オフセットを補償するための周波数オフセット補償手段を更に有する請求項5に記載のフィルタ装置。
- a)所定のフィルタ選択度をもたらすようにフィルタ特性の所定のゼロ値をセットする設定ステップと、
b)周波数応答適応をもたらすように前記フィルタ特性の極値を変化させるためにフィルタパラメータを制御する制御ステップと、
c)フィルタ入力部及び出力部によって抽出される統計量に基づいて信号対雑音比を推定する推定ステップと、
を有するフィルタリング方法であって、
信号帯域幅推定値が、平衡状態におけるフィルタ係数により得られる値と前記推定信号対雑音比からもたらされることを特徴とするフィルタリング方法。 - 前記推定ステップが、フィルタ整形ファクタの決定に基づく反復改良プロシージャを有する請求項7に記載のフィルタリング方法。
- 前記フィルタ係数の決定値に基づいてフィルタ次数を増大させるための適応ステップを更に有する請求項7又は8の何れか一項に記載のフィルタリング方法。
