Claims (3)
- 単一パスのマルチカラー印刷機において用いるための光導電性部材であって、
前記光導電性部材に記録されるべき画像を受け取る複数の画像領域と、
物理的な継目を有する継ぎ目間領域であって、前記単一パスにおいて前記画像領域の1つに形成された特定のカラー画像に関連する複数のイメージ・オン・イメージ整合マークの中の1つを有する前記継ぎ目間領域と、
前記印刷機のタイミングの調整用のプロセス制御マークを形成するための複数の文書間領域とを備え、
前記継目間領域の整合マークをイメージ・オン・イメージ整合の監視のために用いて、前記文書間領域のプロセス制御マークを前記タイミングの調整のために用いて、コピー媒体が前記光導電性部材の前記画像領域上の画像の非同期の配置に同期するように、前記印刷機のタイミングを調整させる、
ことを特徴とする光導電性部材。 - 移動する像形成部材を有するマルチカラー印刷機における非同期タイミング方法であって、
前記像形成部材に、記録されるべき画像を受け取る複数の画像領域を設け、
物理的な継目を有する継ぎ目間領域であって、前記画像領域の1つに形成されたカラー画像に関連する複数のイメージ・オン・イメージ整合マークの中の1つを有する前記継ぎ目間領域を設け、
前記印刷機のタイミングの調整用のプロセス制御マークを形成するための複数の文書間領域を設け、
前記継目間領域の整合マークをイメージ・オン・イメージ整合の監視のために用いて、前記文書間領域のプロセス制御マークを前記タイミングの調整のために用いて、コピー媒体が前記像形成部材の前記画像領域上の画像の非同期の配置に同期するように、前記印刷機のタイミングを調整する、
ことから成ることを特徴とする方法。 - マルチカラー印刷機において用いるための像形成部材であって、
前記像形成材上に記録されるべき画像を受け取る複数の画像領域と、
像形成部材の継目を有する継ぎ目間領域であって、前記画像領域の1つに形成された特定のカラー画像に関連するイメージ・オン・イメージ整合マークを有する前記継ぎ目間領域と、
前記マルチカラー印刷機のタイミングの調整用のプロセス制御マークを有する複数の文書間領域であって、前記継ぎ目間領域の幅より小さい幅である前記文書間領域と、
前記イメージ・オン・イメージ整合マークと前記プロセス制御マークとに応答して、前記像形成部材の画像の非同期の配置に従って前記印刷機のタイミングを調整する制御部とを備えている、
ことを特徴とする像形成性部材。
