Description
Claims (10)
- 無線通信システムにおいて遅延可能データを転送する方法であって、
遅延可能データを転送する命令を受信する転送命令受信工程と、
エア・インタフェースが輻輳しているか否かを判定する輻輳判定工程と、
エア・インタフェースが輻輳している場合、遅延可能データの転送を遅延させる転送遅延工程と、
転送遅延工程に続いて、エア・インタフェースが輻輳していないと判定する輻輳否定判定工程と、
輻輳否定判定工程に応じて、遅延可能データの転送をさらに遅延させる追加遅延期間を決定する追加遅延期間決定工程と、追加遅延期間の長さは移動局が遅延可能データの転送を待機していた時間の量に反比例することと、
遅延可能期間の満了時に、遅延可能データを転送する転送工程とから成る方法。 - 遅延可能データは、(i)遅延可能データ・サービスおよび対応するサービス・オプション値と、(ii)複数のサービス品質(QoS)パラメータとのうちの少なくとも一方に関連する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 輻輳判定工程は遅延可能データの転送が可能であるか否かを通知するシグナリング・メッセージを受信するメッセージ受信工程を含み、
転送遅延工程は受信したシグナリング・メッセージに基づいて、遅延可能データを転送しないと決定する転送否定決定工程を含む請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記シグナリング・メッセージはシグナリング・チャネルを通じて受信される第1のシグナリング・メッセージから成り、さらに、
エア・インタフェースが輻輳している場合、シグナリング・チャネルを監視するチャネル監視工程と、
シグナリング・チャネルを通じて第2のシグナリング・メッセージを受信する第2メッセージ受信工程と、
遅延可能データの転送が可能であることを第2のシグナリング・メッセージが通知する場合、遅延可能データを転送する転送工程とを含む請求項3に記載の方法。 - 転送遅延工程は、エア・インタフェースが輻輳している場合、遅延可能データの一部分のみの転送を許可する部分転送許可工程を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 無線通信システムにおいて遅延可能データを転送することが可能な移動局であって、
遅延可能データを記憶することが可能な1つ以上のメモリ・デバイスと、
遅延可能データを転送する命令を受信し、エア・インタフェースが輻輳しているか否かを判定し、エア・インタフェースが輻輳している場合には遅延可能データの転送を遅延させ、エア・インタフェースが輻輳していない場合には遅延可能データを転送し、エア・インタフェースが輻輳していると判定し遅延可能データの転送を遅延させることに続いて、エア・インタフェースが輻輳していないと判定し、エア・インタフェースが輻輳していないと判定することに応じて、遅延可能データの転送をさらに遅延させる追加遅延期間を決定し、遅延可能期間の満了時に遅延可能データを転送する、同1つ以上のメモリ・デバイスに関連するプロセッサとから成り、追加遅延期間の長さは移動局が遅延可能データの転送を待機していた時間の量に反比例する移動局。 - 遅延可能データは遅延可能データ・サービスおよび対応するサービス・オプション値に関連し、サービス・オプション値は1つ以上のメモリ・デバイスに保持され、プロセッサは、サービス・オプション値に関連するデータの転送の認可を拒否するという受信した情報に基づいて、エア・インタフェースが輻輳しているか否かを判定する請求項6に記載の移動局。
- 1つ以上のメモリ・デバイスは複数のサービス品質(QoS)パラメータを記憶し、遅延可能データは複数のQoSパラメータのうちの1つ以上のQoSパラメータに関連し、プロセッサは同1つ以上のQoSパラメータに関連する遅延可能データを転送する請求項6に記載の移動局。
- プロセッサは遅延可能データの転送が可能であるか否かを通知するシグナリング・メッセージに基づいてエア・インタフェースが輻輳しているか否かを判定し、プロセッサはシグナリング・メッセージに基づいて遅延可能データを転送するか否かを判定する請求項6に記載の移動局。
- 前記シグナリング・メッセージはシグナリング・チャネルを通じて受信される第1のシグナリング・メッセージから成り、
プロセッサは、エア・インタフェースが輻輳している場合、シグナリング・チャネルを監視し、シグナリング・チャネルを通じて第2のシグナリング・メッセージを受信し、遅延可能データの転送が可能であることを第2のシグナリング・メッセージが通知する場合、遅延可能データを転送する請求項9に記載の移動局。
